of the river in wisconsin has been invade by a giant blue green blob of algae it is highly toxic. the clean lakes alliance spokesperson said the algae is a mix of phosphate and run off in the early summer heat. officials hope it runs off in the next day or so. don't go in the water. >> this weekend swimmers along the gulf coast got quite the scare.

top of us, you can feel how humid it's been. the air is unstable, as the front collides with the humid air it will trigger showers and thunderstorms and we'll see good ones around here tomorrow evening. today, looking at a mixture of sun and clouds, one or two pop-up showers or thunderstorms develop. maybe a shower or quick-hitting thunderstorm brief thunderstorm that will pass on through, the rest of the way we're looking at sun and clouds, hazy, hot and humid, 90 degrees feeling like 96 with the humidity. as we fast forward into monday, we start out with cloudy conditions, extremely humid, tempts in the 70s. the cloud deck breaks for sunshine, the sun destabilizes the atmosphere. 1:00 p.m., showers and thunderstorms starting to develop. you can see the bright reds indicating torrential downpours and powerful winds. during the late afternoon and evening hours we get the squall line developing stretching from the lehigh valley all the way

down to the baltimore and washington, d.c. metro areas. that rips through 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and works down to the jersey shore by 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. after the line pulls through there's enough humidity leftover to produce a leftover shower or storm. after midnight a lot of that activity will begin to fall a part. what we're focusing on is that line of severe thunderstorms between the hours of 3 and 7:00 p.m. could see a thunderstorm developing out of this, the main event is in the afternoon hours. heavy downpours winds up to 65 miles per hour, the storm prediction center is mentioning the possibility of an isolateed tornadoes. flood watch has been issued for the i-95 corridor, we could see rainfall totals from 2 to 4 inches with some of these downpours in a very short period of time. that could create flooding problems. for today, kind of quiet considering what's on the table tomorrow. stray thunderstorm, hazy, hot and humid, 90 in philadelphia.

june 17, 2016, the township police responded to the 900 block of heller stone drive of they found the body of denise barger. now a year later 35-dollar reward is being offered for anyone information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible. a young girl was hurt after she ran into the car being driven by don garden on route 30 in atlantic city yesterday when the 7-year-old girl bolted out into traffic. she hit the rear door of his car. she had minor injuries. the mayor was not ticketed since the accident was deemed unavoidable. encouraging news for congressman steve scalise after being shot during a baseball game for a charity in washington, d.c.
