have periods of on and off heavy downpours through friday and saturday. 9:00 tomorrow morning, you can see downpours and thunderstorms to start, at least the second half of the rush hour. they lift to the north. it's scattered into the afternoon tomorrow. what to expect the next two days, tropical humidity, half inch to three inches of rain locally. if you get under one of the downpours and thunderstorms, the atmospheres is rich of moisture. that can prompt flash flooding and heavy rain saturday morning. we have more on when the rounds of rain will pass through, jim, and talk about a beautiful second half of the weekend coming up in the seven-day forecast. >> thank you, adam. >> republicans in the senate launched their plan to replace obama care. the effort was met by a protest outside of the office of mitch

mcconnell. many of the protesters were in wheelchairs. 43 were arrested and hauled away. president trump tweeted his full support for the senate bill looking forward to make it special and remember obama care is dead. four republicans won't vote for the bill in its current form and that will scuttle the plan. >> we promised to repeal obama care. the current bill looks like we are keeping large parts of obama care. that's senator rand paul. >> the plan wouldn't penalize anyone for not having insurance. >> we'll repeal the individual mandate so americans are not forced to buy insurance they don't need or can't afford. >> it preserves protections for those with preexisting

conditions. how does that afford it? it offers less general subsidies than obama care and rolls back medicaid in 2021. we'll find out monday if millions would lose their insurance under the plan. the bill would allow states to decide if they can ignore essential services covered by obama care. if the bill passes, it would have to go back to the pass and finding common ground there might be difficult indeed. a protest to the senate plan took to the skies in philadelphia today. activists paid for a banner plane flying over center city saying healthcare not wealth care, tomey. outside of the center city office dozen of protesters protested the legislation he helped to craft in the senate. two robbery suspects are in

standpoint. >> authorities say he planned to meet the girl for sex at an ice cream parlor in ridley township. instead he found officers from the crimes against children unit who took him into custody. >> he had intent to engage that 14-year-old girl in a sexual relationship. mckinlay lives in philadelphia. one neighbor was surprised that he seemed like such a nice guy. that maybe that's the point. example of someone preying on our children, interacting with children as sand ta, having them sit on his lap and god knows what else. that's disturbing to think about. >> they have taken his computer to find what they can find to lead to other charges. right now he faces jail time
