a $2 billion shortfall, they are work on a solution next week and options include a tax on gas drilling or borrowing the money. former district attorney, seth williams woke up behind bars, he was taken away in handcuffs after striking a plea deal in the middle of his corruption trial. and the judge ordered him to stay in jail until his sentencing in october. he plead guilty to one count of accepting a bribe well, just moments ago president trump held a joint news conference with south korean president at the white house. he focused on concerns over the nuclear threat from north korea saying his goal is peace for the region and adding that the u.s. will defend itself and its allies, and trump is pushing for the narrowing of the trade deficit with south korea.

two police officers are in critical condition and one of them is not expected to survive involved in a shootout in san antonio, texas. one suspect was arrested and one killed when they returned fire. officials have reopened a major highway that was shut down because of a massive wild fire in arizona. the closure of 159 was lifted the fire burning 100 miles north of phoenix has triggered evacuations in several communities, some of the residents are allowed to return to their homes after making progress to contain the blaze. a san diego fafather and his two daughters are safe after being lost in the wilderness for two days. this is video of the search and
