18-year-old was shot once in the head her car crashed into a tree. a blurry image shows the truck fleeing on the shoulder of route 202 south near paoli pike. detectives spent the day looking for clearer images along possible escape routes. her devastated family and friends are still reeling from the news at what they first thought was a tragic accident is now a case of murder. >> now we have to deal with the fact that an unknown man for no reason at all shot our daughter. >> reporter: who he didn't know. >> who he didn't even know 'cause if he knew her he wouldn't have shot her. >> reporter: a family friend has set up a crowdfunding site to help cover funeral expenses. a recent high school graduate bianca planned to attend jacksonville university with dreams of working for the fbi solving crimes. now tragically police are working to solve her murder. >> when i heard it was murder i just -- i broke out into tears like why would someone do this to such a promising young girl. >> might be was out there that day, it was rush hour, 5:30,

daylight, a lot of people was out there. if you seen anything, report it, say something, call 911. >> reporter: police say they have received hundreds of tips about a faded red pickup truck from as far away as texas. they insist they're following up on every lead. meanwhile the family is planning a vigil in bianca's honor, excuse me, that's being held tonight at 9:00 at the family home. reporting live in west goshen township, jeff chirico channel6 "action news." jim. >> jeff, thank you. we want to give you another look at the sketch that has just between released by police. this is the man believed to be driving the red truck investigators are looking for. you can see these images on 6abc.com along with information to contact police if you have any information. a man and woman are dead following a shooting in chester this afternoon. police cordoned off the scene along the 2200 block of west third street at 2 o'clock.

that's where investigators found the victims dead in an apartment. police say both suffered multiple gunshot wounds. the certain for the gunman continues at this hour. >> ♪ we have breaking news tonight. a gunman dressed in a white lab coat opened fire this afternoon inside bronx lebanon hospital in new york killing one man and wounding five to six other people. he then turned the rifle on himself. authorities say he was a doctor and a former employee. henry bell low. police and firefighters descended on the hospital a mile and a half from yankee stadium. needless to say officials are still trying to sort everything out. world news tonight with david muir will have the latest information tonight at 6:30. sky6 is live on the beach in cape may where the surf looks gorgeous for the july 4th holiday weekend. up and down the jersey shore both tourists and local merchants are getting ready for what they hope will be a weekend of fun and profit.

live in ocean city tonight is "action news" new jersey correspondent nora muchanic. nora, happy holiday. this is such an important weekend for everybody at the jersey shore. >> reporter: it is indeed, jim, and happy holiday to you. we're outside curly fries right now across the music pier on the boardwalk. they say this is a gigantic weekend for them. the owner tells me brings in -- trucks in a thousand pounds of potatoes and has extra supplies on hand for hungry visitors over the next several days. jim, tons of people are arriving at the shore tonight and others are saying goodbye. >> it's been great. we did parasailing, we did some fishing, the boardwalk, a lot of swimming, a lot of beach. >> reporter: it's been a great week at the beach for the gruber family of warrington setting up on the beach in ocean city for the last day of their vacation. the sun has been out all day but some folks are bundling up on the beach. >> it's so that windy so cold. i can't believe my daughter is in the ocean. every time she come out it's like it's freezing.

the normal high is 86 so that's 7 degrees above normal so it may have been cool and windy along the shore but inland it's hot and humid and you can see the difference. inland we have temperatures in the 90's the heat index makes it feel like the low 90's although you get that wind off the ocean, we have wind gusts up to about 30 miles an hour. along the beaches, cape may beach haven it's in the 70's and atlantic city airport which is 9 miles inland in pomona it's 85 degrees. there is a lot of severe weather up to the north. in fact, there's some tornado warnings in part of new york state. we are looking at some storms kind of clipping northern berks county and the lehigh valley. most of those will stay north of us tonight. however, tomorrow we've got a frontal boundary that will be pulling through and that will bring us some stormy weather. so future tracker showing really the window of the storms will be late in the afternoon into the evening hours around 6:30 this is showing a pretty good line of some heavy downpours across the i-95 corridor and that is the main threat. there's going to be very high

"action news" reporter vernon odom has the story. >> reporter: at second and arch today construction on a new apartment building remains shut down partly because of an area wide labor contract dispute and because it appears even more coffins and skeletal

remains have been discovered. >> at about 14 feet down, there are additional burials that have been located on the site. and that -- the plan now is to hire a professional archaeologist to come in and do a proper excavation of those remainsism back in the wintertime construction work was briefly shut down when 80 to 100 coffins and skeletal remains were found here. because scientists wanted to recover the findings and do their vital research. >> prior to really the 20th century maybe pack in the 19th century a little bit there's just not a lot of really good information about population health. >> reporter: people who frequent this olde city neighborhood tell me another temporary shutdown of construction in the name of science will be a good thing. >> i get what the developers want. i understand what their priority is and their priority probably is money and they want -- their time line has already probably been messed

we do have a cluster of thunderstorms across northern berks county right now, hamburg you can see it's heading towards slatington. not severe but a lot of thunder and lightning, 40 lightning strikes the past 15 minutes, also some heavy downpours really you can see how most of that is lifting up to the north. it will not be affecting philadelphia tonight. satellite and radar showing here is the area to the north. there's more out to the west. that swings through late in the day tomorrow. so, future tracker showing as we head through tonight around 8:30 again some activity across the lehigh valley, the poconos. tomorrow morning it won't be like today. it won't be bright and sunny. a dirty sky with the humidity overcast skies at 9 o'clock in the morning, should be rain free but then as we head into the afternoon hours, this is when we see some thunderstorms bubbling up around 4:30, the chance of some severe weather to the north and west. as it swings through philadelphia into south jersey, the sun will be setting so it will lose a lot of its punch by 8 o'clock, moving across the i-95 corridor and then hitting the

coast after sunset. so if you are down the shore tomorrow that ocean temperature is chilly, 61 degrees, a moderate risk of rip currents so don't swim where and when the lifeguards are off duty. today, though, should be rain free. those thunderstorms moving in at night with a high of 80. sunday beautiful day to be on the beach, sun and clouds, not as windy as today or tomorrow, 84 degrees. and monday sun with a few clouds and a high of 83. heading to the poconos tomorrow, a very humid day with thunderstorms developing as early as lunchtime a high of 78 degrees. the rest of the weekend just gorgeous. sunday lower humidity, 81 and monday loads of sunshine and again the humidity levels not bad with a high of 80 in the mountains. so, the exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast it's very humid tomorrow. not as hot as today temperature-wise but it will feel hotter with the humidity, a high of 89 degrees, some gusty thunderstorms in the late day and evening hours. sunday it's hot but it's less humid. 91 degrees on monday it stays hot with a high of 90.
