but the big story on "action news" tonight is a rocky start to the fourth of july weekend forecast. it has been humid, unsettled with the mix of sun and rain and right now a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until tonight for most of our area taking a look from sky six over the philadelphia international airport, you can see rain, coming down right now and those dark skies are above. "action news" cam was in abington as well, just a few minutes ago where you can see rain is really coming down. meteorologist melissa magee is here now with the first check of the accu weather forecast, medical list a. >> walter, we have been un settled throughout much of the afternoon and looking at storm tracker six live double scan radar you can see showers , storms, moving out of the northwestern suburbs pressing into that 95 corridor and slowly press nothing to areas in south jersey. not only do we have a severe thunderstorm watch out but a severe thunderstorm warning for sale em, camden, gloucester counties, burlington counties, philadelphia, included in that warning, and also points to the north and west. warning stays up until 6:15

released this new photograph of the red pickup truck suspect was driving when he opened fire on bianca roberson cutting short a promising life "action news" reporter annie mccormack has very latest from west goshen police headquarters. >> reporter: police are work ing this case 24/7. they have agencies from surrounding states, looking for this pickup truck. the new images that you had are about to see are from surveillance cameras, in and around the community. new video obtained by west goshen township police shows a clear image of the red pickup truck investigators believe belongs to the suspect from wednesday night's deadly road rage shooting. this is the sketch investigators released yesterday of the man everyone is looking for. police think he is 20 to 40 years old with a medium build and blonde hair. it was on southbound route 100 wednesday evening when police believe 18 year-old bianca roberson and suspect were trying to merge in the same lane. pick up driver opened fire shooting the teen in her head,

killing her. >> it is crucial, the family deserves this. society in general deserves this. >> reporter: police now believe that after the shooting the shooter merged on to route 202 south, riding the shoulder to the paoli pike exit. now after detectives found these new images they believe the shooter took paoli pike for some time before heading on 352 south toward delaware county. and again, police do believe that pickup truck was heading toward delaware county. the last image police has shows that the shooter was 10 miles from the paoli pike. they are still looking for more witnesses, and for more images from surveillance cameras. if you have any information of that you are urged to contact them at (610)696-7400. for now reporting from west goshen township annie mccormack for channel six "action news". now to the latest on the new jersey state governmental shut down, parks, beaches, even dmv were all closed to day after governor chris christie and legislative leaders could not come to an

agreement on the state budget. "action news" reporter bob brooks is in trenton with more on this developing story. >> reporter: day one of the new jersey government shut down, governor chris christie blamed it on democratic assembly speaker vincent prieto's unwillingness to negotiate. >> he is not acting rationally >> reporter: speaker would point the blame right back at republican governor christie. >> thinks executive order that the governor sent out at 12:01 last night. this is chris christie's shut down. >> reporter: since shut down started on the weekend most immediately impacted are those who work and wanted to head state run parks and beaches for the holiday weekend. executive order was put into action keeping opened the essential functions like state police and state run hospitals as for the root of the disagreement governor christie is demanding that the $34.7 billion budget include that insurance, horizon blue cross/blue shield spend some of its reserve fund on public health initiatives like donate to go help combat the state's opioid addicts. christie argued that point to the legislature this afternoon

bad news for unsuspecting home owner, overnight fire damaged a home on horner avenue in pennsauken, new jersey. fire fighters arrived to find flames rising from the first and second floors. it took them 30 minutes to gain the upper hand. nobody was home at the time, so, it was up to police and fire officials to contact them and then inform them about what happened. well, police say a rash of gunfire unleash in the nightclub in little rock, arkansas was a result of the dispute in the audience. it happened overnight inside power ultra nightclub, 25 people were wounded by gunfire , mayor of the little rock says that the city can use some help with gun control >> we must do more to keep

guns out of the hand of the wrong people and government can do something to help us with that. >> my goodness that video there. victims range from 16 to 35 years old. mayor says the club will be shut down for good. little rock has been the scene of the deadly recent rash of gun violence over the past week. police say it is not clear whether doctor henry bello took aim at a specific staff member or just shot randomly during yesterday's rampage at bronx lebanon hospital in new york city. bello opened fire on the 16th floor killing three two-year old doctor tracie tam and wounded several others before he eventually took his own life. bello left the hospital on bad terms two years ago and investigators believe that was the likely motive. recreational marijuana is legal in nevada, dispensar iness vegas opened their doors after midnight. as you can see people lined up to be first to buy marijuana without a medical card. consumers are allowed to buy up to an ounce at a time,
