of the long 4th of july weekend at the jersey shore. chris sowers is here with the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. not bad, right. >> reporter: the humidity drops off, yesterday you couldn't breathe at one point. we have fog this morning because of the rain that fell last night. so we have a little leftover moisture, so a lot of this will burn off quickly. later this afternoon it will be very, very nice. it's going to be hot, we're talking about high temperatures in the 90s, but the humidity drops off, the result will be you can breathe when you step outside later today. all right, visibility wise not too bad we have a couple of areas in through here, that are seeing patchy fog. trenton, 3 miles, 8 miles in philadelphia. everybody's 7 or 8 miles or higher. 68 in allentown. reading, 68. 73 in philadelphia. 66 in millville. atlantic city, at the airport, 72. cape may, 71.

trenton, 71 and the poconos checking in at 63 degrees. again, humidity levels are high as of now, but we do expect those humidity levels to drop off during the course of the day, so the day planner looks like, expect wall-to-wall blue skies later this afternoon, it's a nice looking day throughout the morning hours and the afternoon, 72 by 8:00 a.m. 80 degrees by 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m., 87. 4:00 p.m., 89, 5:00 p.m., 85 degrees, it's going to be hot, high temperatures near 90. the humidity drops off. the humidity creeps up monday and tuesday, there's a threat of a thunderstorm. i'll have the details in just a few minutes, guys. thank you. we begin with breaking news, and an "action news" exclusive. police in west goshen township chester county have the pickup

truck that was used in a deadly road rage crash last week. we expect to get more information about the suspect. only "action news" was there when the red pickup truck was towed back to the police overnight. it's been an all out manhunt for the search for the driver. the driver allegedly pulled out a gun and shot and killed 18-year-old bianca roberson causing her to crash her car. >> it was a busy early morning for the west goshen police department today. this red truck may lead the police to find the shooter. only "action news" was here when the red pickup truck came in this morning, this was around 1:30. west goshen township police investigators believe it belongs to the suspect from the deadly road rage shooting it happened on southbound route 100 when police believe 18-year-old bianca roberson was trying to merge into the same lane as the

driver of the red pickup and again, he shot her in the head causing her to crash her car. she died at the scene. investigators have been sending images a sketch of this suspect. it has been circulating social media, police departments across the country have been searching for the s&p. it's been an all out manhunt since wednesday night. we've been sharing the picture on social media and facebook. now we know the police have brought in the head truck responsible for the crash. meanwhile, the new jersey government remains shut down after lawmakers failed to pass a budget friday. governor chris christie and the legislature returned to the state house to resolve the problem, but did not succeed. at issue, legislation affecting blue cross blue shield into the

34.7 state budget. governor chris christie called for the legislature to ravine again today happening at 2:00 p.m. all in an attempt to break the deadlock. >> work with me end this shut down. protect our citizens from this company which unfortunately has forgotten why we created them in the first place. now, during the shut down, nonessential state services like passion and motor vehicle offices are closed. remaining open, new jersey transit, state prison, state police and the state hospital. for a full list what is open and closed during this shut down head to 6abc.com. this shut down affects people in new jersey in many different ways. the state department of environmental protection is shut down which means if you're traveling all travel and tourism welcome centers are closed.

all dmvs are shuttered for now, you cannot renew vehicle registration in person. the department of labor is closed which means some insurance claims cannot be processed. unemployment is up and running. prison and halfway houses are open, again we provided a complete list of what's open and what's closed at 6abc.com. meanwhile, the state of delaware is running this morning without a budget in place. lawmakers set to return to dover this afternoon in an effort to hammer out a deal. they worked until daybreak but they were unable to seal a deal. legislators passed a measure to keep the government up and running in delaware for 72 hours. governor threatens a veto if he receives a budget that he does not think leads to long term change. governor tom wolf has a budget on his desk awaiting his

signature. lawmakers have to return to harrisburg this week to debate a few options. they range from taxing gas drillers, liquor license sales, expanding gambling and possibly borrowing money in order to get the budget signed. president trump marked his first independence day weekend as commander-in-chief as an event to honor the nation's veterans in washington. he vowed to support and defend america's religious liberties and renewed his promise to take care the men and women who served in the military and form the creation of a new office in the va. >> for 40 years they have been trying you couldn't fire somebody, if they were horrible doing a terrible job for the veterans. robbing, stealing, hurting people you couldn't do anything. it's called the veterans accountability act, now you can say you're fired. >> mr. trump discussed

>> stormy weather moved through our area yesterday, but mother nature left her mark on the lehigh valley. strong winds flipped over one small plane at lehigh valley international airport. the wind damaged the roof at the airport departure terminal. there were no reports of any injuries at that airport. after the rain, this beauty, a rainbow appeared in the sky in university city yesterday. it began to peek through while the skies were dark. once the sun returned, the rainbow took shape. it looks like a double rainbow there. >> reporter: i have viewers send in a picture of a double rainbow yesterday afternoon. a nice edged to a stormy afternoon.

breaking developments. good morning, bob. >> reporter: nydia and alicia it's been busy out here at the west goshen township police department. we hope with the finding of the red pickup truck, the finding of the suspect happens next. we were the only ones there when it came in this morning, let's take a look, you can see this is the red pickup. west goshen township police investigators believe it may belong to the suspect from the deadly road rage shooting. it was on southbound 100 wednesday evening when 18-year-old bianca roberson and the suspect were trying to merge into the same lane. the pickup driver would shoot the teen into the head. bianca roberson's car crashed into the side of the road. she was pronounced at the scene. after the shoongt, -- shooting, the suspect went on to 202 paoli pike exit. back out here live, we're

it will continue to do so over the next several days, it won't be until wednesday or thursday, the humidity starts to spike again. possibly a thunderstorm around monday and tuesday, it's very, very isolated. only a handful of you see that. its cooler next weekend. highs by sunday struggle to reach the low to mid 80s. satellite and radar showing we're clearing at this point, everything pushing off the coast. 90 degrees is the forecasted high. which is about four degrees above the seasonal average of 86. the low temperature of 73 is close to the average of 68. testers across the region, it's cooler than yesterday, at this time, but still sticky out there, 68 degrees degrees in allentown and reading. 67 in millville. atlantic city, 72. later this afternoon we take the dewpoints up here, and drop them into the low 60s. we'll call it only slightly

humid by afternoon. satellite and radar there's the powerful line of thunderstorms that ripped through, we talked about this all day yesterday, we would see the squall line develop with the approaching cold front, right on cue it formed across central p health care system -- pa. the key this is all a wind out of the northwest there's no humidity up there, that's the air mass that's seeping into the delaware and the lehigh valleys. it will feel nice and comfortable for a change. future tracker 6 later this afternoon, we're looking at wall-to-wall blue skies, mostly sunny, monday, same thing, although one or two showers could develop across the lehigh valley. maybe a quick-hitting thunderstorm late in the day or tomorrow. 4th of july same thing mostly sunny skies, a few clouds maybe one or two pop-up showers or thunderstorms not a big deal. forecast for today, 90 on the dot in philadelphia. 85 on the boards in atlantic city, no sea breeze down there today. you have a west/southwesterly

moory's pier in wildwood was 8th as the best ten water parks in the nation. disney in orlando topped the list. if you're thinking about setting off fireworks this holiday, they are illegal in two of the three states in our area. the consumer product safety commission issued a warning about fireworks. pennsylvania is the only state that allows fireworks of any kind but only those as defined as sparklers and toy cabs. don't assume they are safe or okay for your children to handle. >> sparklers out of the hand of children, they can burn. keep all fireworks out of the hands of children it's not a good place for them to be. >> cpsc said 49% of injuries
