now. see what she's hiding that's going to come in handy. >> are you kidding me? >> and y'all wonder why i rock my big purse. we found a mother stuck on a a -- she's roughed up pretty bad. we'll see if we could try to cut the ropes. >> this guy is a diver and guide in the island nation of tonga. and they spotted this. not unusual to see a humpback whale out there. that's part of their business. but in this case they found a humpback tangled around a bunch of line with buoys and an anchor. >> oh, no. >> thankfully, she's able to get to the surface and breathe. but listen to this. if you've never heard a whale cry, it cuts you deep.

it kind of sounds like puppy cries. this is not just her. this is a mother. and there's a calf nearby. >> she's groaning too. >> yeah. the divers have spent hours doing their best trying to get close to this whale and her calf. two divers call harrison and they did their best to try and get close with knives to try and cut away some of that line. they've been dropped off ahead of the whale trying now to grab the line as the whales swim by. >> they can't call for help? >> they are the help. >> that's what i'm saying, he could grab the rope now, but he's got to be careful, man. >> wow. >> you could see the whale moving pretty quick, but the divers still attempt to grab the line. here's what it looks like from their point of view. the whale's traveling way too fast to be able to hang onto that and cut away at the rope. it's impossible. now at this point they've been at it so long, they're both

starting to run low on fuel. they had to abandon this mission. >> oh, no. that's really sad. >> but don't worry. another boat, whale swim and dive tours took over. they were able to cut away all those buoys and there's momma and baby. >> yes! >> this rescue occurred back in january, but the video now just getting lots of attention and going viral. >> that's such a great story. i'm so glad the whole team worked together and didn't give up. let's head on over to the business center where this fella is taping up and getting ready to climb the urasia tower. i just need to note that this building is a 72-story building and it's over 1,000 feet tall. >> dude. >> i love his timing. he waited right until -- >> he's headed up the building. he's got friends in high places

capturing all of it. there's several different angles. >> no ropes, nothing. >> he says he's been at this about seven or eight years. and the highest building he's climbed to date before this had been between about 40 to 45 stories. >> honestly, though, once you're above 100 feet, 50 feet, what's the difference? >> he and his friends also streamed it live on youtube. you'll notice there were some officials there on the ground. >> yeah. what he should have done on the way up is cleaned a couple of windows. >> right. >> i'm just trying to help you out, you're welcome. >> you'll be happy to know he does make it up safely. >> straight to jail? >> yeah. that's what happened. because when you stream something live on youtube for everyone to see, everyone sees it. the emergency units somewhere about the 30th floor dropped a line. you'll notice the cuffs come out. they're like good job, glad you got what you wanted hope it was worth it. he got arrested and fined. let that serve a lesson to all

you spider-man, batman wannabes. >> don't get caught. >> that's the lesson. >> that's not the lesson. when will you learn? this is a beautiful example of a community coming together after a tragedy. >> it was horrible. it was the worst feeling i've ever felt in my life. >> those pictures show 27-year-old courtney. she suffered a terrible accident at a camp site. she and her husband had started a campfire and when it started to go out, her husband chose to relite it using gasoline. >> the fire shot up and next thing i knew, i was engulfed in flames. >> that ended up leaving her burned on 40% of her body. she had to spend 51 days in the hospital. >> oh, gosh, the guilt that man must feel. >> her husband and her actually separated shortly after her accident. so now she has to undergo this

ordeal by herself. she's spending a lot of time in physical therapy essentially having to learn everything. >> i do not have full movement back in my hands yet. i had to learn how to rewalk. it's basically like i'm a baby again. my medical bills are over $2 million. >> her medical debt is increasing. she had to leave her home because she can't afford to keep it. she can't work. that's where the community came together to help her out. the local pastor heard about this story. he reached out to his friend who's a contractor who was moved by courtney's story. >> so she said there must be something we can do. when we asked what does courtney need, all of them were in agreement she needed a house. >> he decided to reach out to his friends and bring the entire community together to build her a home. it's a small home, but it's a good home for her and her daughter. >> this is a horrible accident. this poor woman will be paying

for for the rest of her life. this debt, $2 million, how do you come out from that? >> it's heart breaking. but now there is at least a ray of sunlight for her. and her future with her daughter. she's walking around her home and it's giving her hope that she doesn't have to worry about where she's going to live. she doesn't have to worry about those expenses because all of it has really been donated. she won't have to pay for the home itself. obviously just for what it takes to maintain it. >> this home is more than just a shelter for her and her daughter. it probably provides hope for her in her situation and in humanity because of the way it's come about. >> there is a silver lining to this. because her story is now the catalyst for a refuge center that the community b that came together to build her home is going to build for other women that may need help. pedro, grace, and their two kids are the family that make you jealous your teeth hurt. they got 20,000 followers on
