eventful g20 summit. but the big story an investigation into a gruesome murder mystery in philadelphia's bridesburg section. the body of a man apparently shot to death was found. the corpse had been burned and dismembered. tonight police are trying to figure out who the victim along with who killed him and why. bob brooks live at the scene. the latest from police. >> reporter: brian, just a gruesome crime. to give you a scope of where we are, in bridesburg, in a very secluded area, just behind a trash transfer station where this body was found and that burn spot just a few feet behind me. neighbors say what sparked this scene in bridesburg is >> it's sick. >> reporter: and >> insane. >> reporter: this? police found a man shot, dismembered and burned in the 2900 block of east orthodox street around around 5:00 a.m.

discovery was made after workers heard gunshots around 4:00 a.m. but they didn't think much of it because they worked in an industrial area. the truck would pull in for delivery and driver noticed something burning. it wasn't until that driver approached the fire to put it out did they realize it was a man. the details get worse. >> it is extremely secluded eight shell casings were found and the victim's arms were cut off >> to chop the arms off and burn the body? bad. i hope they found out who did it. >> reporter: he was pronounced dead. the goal to figure out who did this. >> i walk back and forth every day. >> reporter: that's the neighbor mike who said he saw a car and that's never the case >> i walked up to wawa because i was done fishing. and there was a -- i don't know what model it was, but it was a -- it was a ford car. >> reporter: he said he's going to rethink his route to work. >> he was burned and the warms

cut off >> my god. that's a little -- a little much. ain't it? . >> reporter: again, a man was found burned, dismembered, shot multiple times, if you happen to know what happened here, immediately call the philadelphia police. reporting live in bridesburg, bob brooks, channel 6 act news. brian? >> thank you. a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck in center city today. investigators say he was doing wheel is when he crashed. it happened about 3:00 this afternoon at 17th and ben franklin parkway. the 27-year-old motorcycle of the slam into the back of a box truck and taken to hahnemann where he was pronounce dead a 19-year-old was arrested for dui in luxury. in 1:30 in the 6,000 block of tabor road. the driver was speeding when he sideswipe add honda, he then

lost control and hit four other cars all parked. the teen and the driver of that honda were both taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. a woman who was attending a family reunion at fairmount park was injured when that large tree branch fell on top of her. it happened at 2:30 today. the woman was cooking right near the avenue of the republic when the branch came down. she was ok and able to talk to us >> i was making a ham burger and i heard the crack sound and before i knew it, something hit me in my head. i didn't know it was a tree branch until i ran over there. >> witnesses at the scene told us how lucky they all were that not only was she ok, but that branch didn't come down on one of the many children also at that reunion today. meanwhile, two teenagers were among three people shot in philadelphia's strawberry mansion's section overnight. gunshots rang out in front of a

chinese take-out restaurant in the 1900 block of north 31st. police arrived at the scene but the victims had been taken to the hospital. a 15-year-old and 17-year-old are in stable condition at temple. a 25-year-old is in critical condition right now. so far, no arrests in this one. the red cross is helping eight people who were displaced by yesterday's house collapse in the fell tonville section of philadelphia. neighbors jumped into action to rescue the residents at the home on west rockland street when part of the second floor gave way, stranding a mother and four children upstairs. one man stood on a tree branch to grab and lower each child to the ground. their mother was injured when she jumped on to a mattress below. residents and three apartments are also out of their homes. president trump is en route back to washington after a g20 summit that highlighted deep tensions with other world powers. the president tweeting aboard air force one called the gathering of quote wonderful success.

but it ended this morning with mr. trump's fellow world leaders lining up against his stance on climate change. germans chancellor angela merkel said she deplore his decision to withdrawal from the climate accord. mr. trump also met with chinese president. they discussed trade and the nuclear threat posed by north korea, but much focus remains on the president's meeting with his russian counterpart, vladimir putin. who offered this assessment of mr. trump today. >> to hear. he said he was notably different than the man you see on television and mr. putin meant that as a complement. ing saying their meet was productive. mr. trump has not accepted the assertion that they did nmeddle.

turning to the weather, it was humid but sunny and you know what? tomorrow promises to be near perfect. meteorologist melissa magee here now with a first check on the accu weather forecast. >> it certainly wasn't bad start to the weekend. of we had plenty of sunshine today and it was moderately humid across the region. of high in philadelphia 87, right now, we're coming in at 86 in the city, 78 in allentown, up in the poconos 74. at the coast in cape may 82, down in dover, in at 85 degrees. the due points moisture in the air, it wasn't that. especially for that i95 corridor right now, we've got due points in the middle lower 60's a fair amount of humidity across areas in millville, dover and also into cape may. but we're tracking unsettled weather. north and west of the 95 corridor a couple of pop-up showers and thunderstorms, you can see the moisture pressing into the south of lancaster and

high side. especially at the coast. beach haven end due point at 72, dover-71. but moderately humid here in philadelphia. 63 degree due point. to the north and west, and allentown, the lehigh valley, numbers were in the upper 60's. some humidity in the atmosphere but that's going to be coming down as early as tomorrow. in fact, as you look at the trend of the next four days, by sunday, any time you have due point numbers in the 50's, it's nice and comfortable. we got a tranquil air mass overhead. of by monday, tuesday and wednesday, we're back up into the upper 60's, so turning more humid across the region. i do want to show you the temperatures across the area. as we look at the wider view across the delaware and lehigh valleys 86 after a high of 87. 78 in allentown right now. 74 in the poconos. at the coast in cape may, 81. 86 in atlantic city. dover, also in the 80's. satellite 6 along with action radar showing you dry and quiet for the city and points to the south and east. to the north and west we're tracking a couple of spotty

showers even imbedded thunderstorms moving on through. we're still tracking that cold front that has to push down to the south and east. once that comes on through and moves offshore, high pressure to the west that will be working its way eastward and that's going to lower the humidity. the call from accu weather for rest of tonight, an early shower or thunderstorm is likely mainly north and west of town, otherwise clear and moon lit under a new thunder moon tonight. drop down to 59 in allentown. 60 in reading, 68 in philadelphia for the overnight low, 63 in millville. down in dover, we'll bottom out at 67. so nice and refreshing air on the way tonight. wall-to-wall sunshine on the way sunday, lower humidity, there's high pressure out of the ohio value that will be working its way eastward in the wake of that cold front. so the high temperature tomorrow had in philadelphia maxing at 85 and we have the nice blend of sunshine to enjoy. so not a bad day tomorrow down the shore. the mostly sunny and pleasant, high temperature at 83. ocean temperature in the lower

70's. and if your destination over the weekend last day of the weekend on sunday, plenty of sunshine up in the poconos, it's a gorgeous day, a high temperature coming in at 75. here's the exclusive accu weather seven-day forecast. tomorrow, sunny and pleasant low humidity, get out and enjoy. do that garden work then, high temperature in 85. the phils at home. first pitch 1:35. monday turning high temperature of 88. tuesday, hot with a thunderstorm and at 92 and turns unsettled as we get into tuesday and beyond. by wednesday, it's warm and humid. a thunderstorm likely and 89 for high. humid thursday with thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. high of 90. friday clouds and sun can't rule out a pop-up shower or thunderstorm then and a high 88. but by next saturday, it's plenty of sunshine, it is warm and high temperature coming in at 89 degrees. so sunday looking really good across the area tomorrow. >> love it. get outside.
