good afternoon sara bloomquist is off and we begin with new developments in the bucks county investigation after cosmo dinardo confessed to killing four men. katherine scott has the very latest. >> reporter: rick that is right we learn that a second man was taken into custody, so far his name has not been released and investigate ofs continue to search multiple properties as they try to gain evidence this this quadruple homicide. crews are in place in solebury township. and overnight another man was taken into custody. police could be seen at a home on magee in philadelphia. believed to be connected to the investigation and meanwhile cosmo dinardo remains behind

bars. his attorney says that his client confessed to his part in the murder of four bucks county men and supplied investigators the location of their remains. >> in exchange mr. dinardo was promised by the district attorney that he will spare his life by not invoking the death penalty. >> 19-year-old dean finocchiaro and jimi patrick of new town and mark sturgis of pennsburg and thomas meo have been missing since last week. they were found in a common grave 12.5 feet underground on this sprawling property owned by cosmo dinardo's persons. according to the associate press dinardo a drug dealer confessed to killing the men after feeling cheated or threatened during three drug chance actions and that he sold marijuana to the three men and killed them

person news name i will not reveal. none of the neighbors are making comments either. after midnight, philadelphia and bucks county detectives converged on this house on mackey avenue in lawndale. they took this 20-year-old man that lives here in custody and taken who bucks county where he remains at this hour. we are not disclosing his name because no charges are filed. he is an alleged accomplice of confessed murderer, cosmo dinardo. he confessed to killing the four men after arguments over a drug deal and buried their remains on his are parent's property in solebury township. they are searching the property in ambler apparently in connection with the man taken into custody here overnight in

saying senators need to do what is right for the people. in washington, channel 6 "action news." emily thank you. back here a pennsylvania state trooper has died after a crash this morning in western pennsylvania, it happened along route 711 in ling township. a state police vehicle collided with a garbage truck and 26-year-old trooper, michael stewart was killed. a young man died after being hit by a car in the parkville section. he was walking near 53rd when the vehicle struck him at midnight. the victim stayed at the scene. the. the brides to be around the country are panicking after a bridal retailer abruptly closed all of its stores, including cherry hill, new jersey and whitehall, pennsylvania. the action was outs side of the

a giant sinkhole opened up in land o lakes florida and swallowed two homes. it started out the size of a small pool and swallowed a boat before 8:00 and quickly expanded and consumed the homes. two other homes are evacuated address a precaution. flooding in central ohio left people in need of a rescue. cars were overcome by high water here and residents became trapped in their homes. mandatory evacuations were

tops of the building. the temple university camera showing we are trapped in with low level moisture and another picture down the shore. sky 6 hd we are in cape may, you see a lot of folks still enjoying their beach day with the umbrellas on the beach and on the sand before the showers and storms fire up later on today. the weather headline as we check out what is going on today. tracking the scattered showers and storms and some look to be on the severe side and the storm prediction center places our area in a slight risk of finding severe weather, and a watch is issued at 2:00 and lasting through midnight with the potential of heavy rain today and gets better into the weekend it will be turning less humid. temperatures now are in the 70s and 80s. 76 in philadelphia and 71 in allentown and 77 there in reading, 69 in trenton and still warmer north and west.

and 81 degrees out to the west there in wilmington. we'll show you stormtracker 6 live double scan radar and you see that we are still tracking some showers and storms, mainly to the north of philadelphia and also in our northwest suburbs. we'll go in tighter on street level with stormtracker 6 live double scan and you can see the rain showers moving into berks county. kutztown into fleet wood heavy rain and traveling eastbound getting closer to macungie. satellite 6 along with action radar showing you for the most part showers and storms are off to the west when track a cold front that will bring relief our way but until that occurs we track the frontal boundary from the south and east and brings us strong to severe showers and storms and future tracker 6 timing it out 5:00 this evening. we have a couple of range showers and some of this will be big, heavy drenchers and 8:00 tonight we are tracking the
