that makes the end of a murder mystery that attracted numerous attention in the area and through the country and cosmo dinardo charged with four counts of murder and his cousin sean kratz charged with three if convicted it's likely neither will live a moment again as a free man. friday night the big story on action news the confessions of two alleged killers, their victims the missing men in bucks county action news reporter dann cuellar is live in new hope just a mile or two from where the bucks county victims were buried and dann you have the end of the week update. >> reporter: that's right jim the gruesome and disturbing case involving drugs, murder and burials by two cousins on a sprawling farm has left many here in shock and disbelief and as much as some would like they just can't seem to stop talking about it. >> i feel they probably never know why it happened, all right, but it just makes you sad.

>> it's peaceful here and tranquil and not what you would think about it around here. >> shocked. >> i wouldn't want to be parents and feel so bad for the family. >> reporter: in cosmo dinardo confession is public and dined out with his 20-year-old cousin as accomplice arrested last night in philadelphia and he confessed and both charged with murder and related offenses and being held without bail and tells investigators on july 5 he agreed to sell jimi tar patrick four pounds of marijuana for 8,000 and drove into his families 90 acre form when patrick only had 800 dinardo offered to sell him a shotgun instead and shot patrick and used a backhoe to bury his body and on the 7th he agreed to sell dean finocchiaro and picked up his cousin and planned to rob him and gave kratz a 357 belonging to his mother and took him to the farm where kratz shot

him in the head also on july 7 dinardo meets up with tom tomasic and mark sturgis to make a drug deal and his car was left on the property on aquetong road and head to the farm where kratz is waiting and dinardo shoots him in the back and falls to the ground screaming and mark sturgis is shot and he runs him over with a backhoe and placed in a metal tank called a pig roaster on caught on fire and came back to bury it under ground using the backhoe and the motive for this. >> we won't know the answer. >> reporter: and they may never have found jimi tar patrick remains if they had not made the plea dial with dinardo. >> we found them where we were told we were to find him. >> reporter: the family showed tremendous strength as they worked to bring their loved ones hope. >> hope i'm never in their shoes but if i ever were i pray that i could handle this with the courage and the dignity that

sprinkles moving to wilmington but that was not the case earlier this afternoon. we had a parade of storms moving southeast across south jersey and this shows the rainfall totals and you will notice salem 2" many areas in cumberland county 2-3" millville 2.1 you may think 2" is not much but that fell in less than 25 minutes so that did cause a lot of flash flooding a lot of streets in millville and bridgeton were flooded and quarter size hail and phoenixville this afternoon had winds that brought down trees and power lines and wind damage and windows damage in west chester and toms river a gas line was struck by lightning so we had some pretty vicious storms the reason why the dew points the air is loaded with moisture dew point is still 70 in philadelphia however this front has passed, lower humidity through the weekend looking to be a very nice weekend near normal temperatures plenty of

caused this yard to flood and the front of several other homes were not spared either. meanwhile in bridgeton crews worked late clearing a mudslide after part of north pearl street flooded this viewer photo shows cars that became submerged and told the drivers got okay but the cars had to be towed. >> we all went down to look and there was three cars stuck down in five feet of water all the way up to the windows yeah it was crazy. >> reporter: and crews spent much of the evening clearing the mud from the roadway and the crews will be out the next couple of days to shore up the embankment so it doesn't happen again bridgeton jeff chirico jim. >> action news at the scene of a drug raid at a home on 28th in grays ferry in philadelphia where they say they uncovered a heroin lab, that is what police are telling us. investigators had to wear full hazmat gear for fear the drugs

but these home videos show him just months before his first birthday taking his first step. >> good job. >> reporter: his mother dana says last september luke had what appeared to be a cold but quickly got worse. >> he woke up saturday morning completely lethargic really sick. i went to stand him up and his legs just buckled beneath him. >> reporter: at the children's hospital of philadelphia luke had acute flacidmilitis and sudden weakness in the arms or legs and can be permanent and we reported on the condition in 2014 when the c.d.c. started seeing a spike in cases nationwide and 120 that year, in 2015 there were just 21. but then in 2016 another spike, 144 cases. mostly seen mid to late summer neurologist sarah hopkins says at first there seemed to be a

link to a severe respiratory virus called entero virus d68 and luke tested positive for it and so did 7 of the 8 cases they saw in 2016 but nationally there was not a clear connection for the entero virus d68. >> we suspect it's a viral cause but have not been able to pinpoint for sure whether all of these patients have had the same virus or whether they are different viruses. >> reporter: she and other researchers continue to look for clues. the best treatments and why some kids may be more susceptible. it's an extremely rare condition and parents should not panic but should be aware. most kids are just going to get a cold and that is all that is going to happen or get a stomach virus and that is all that is going to happen. >> reporter: but she says if your child is sick with a fever and starts having trouble moving an arm, leg or their head get them to the emergency room. dana says what happened to luke
