young men. dann cuellar has the details. >> reporter: the gruesome and disturbing case involving drugs murders and burials by two cousin have left people in shock and disbelief. >> we'll never know why it happened. it just makes you sad. >> it's peaceful and tranquil, it's something you wouldn't think of around here. >> i'm shocked. i am shocked that anybody could do something little. >> i wouldn't want to be their parents. >> the painful and graphic case is detailed in the cosmo dinardo confession made public. sean kratz his cousin was his accomplice, he too, confessed and both were charged with related offenses. he said on july 5 he agreed to sell jimi patrick 4 pounds of marijuana for $8,000 and drove

him to his family's 9-acre farm. when he had $800, he offered him to sell him in a shot gun. instead he shot him and used a backhoe and buried his body. cosmo dinardo planned to sell dean finocchiaro a quart are -- quarter pound of marijuana. cosmo dinardo meets up with tom meo and mark sturgis. he shoots tom meo in the back and mark sturgis runs away. he runs him over with a backhoe. the next day the men return to bury the tank 1 feet -- 12 feet under ground using a backhoe. one thing, they may have never

dead after a highrise in honolulu went up in flames. the fire began on the 26th floor of the 36 story tall building. the mayor said the building was not equipped with sprinklers. the fire would have contained to one apartment if spring -- sprinklers were installed. california wildfire continues to burn. 1600 firefighters are battling this wildfire in the so-called whitier fire.

underway for four young men who were killed in bucks county. cosmo dinardo and sean kratz told police about the murders. cosmo dinardo accused of killing jimi patrick on july 5th and burying him in a single grave. tom meo and mark sturgis were found in a separate grave a mile from where patrick's body was buried. >> we did find three young men buried deep in the ground under an oil tank that was converted into a cooker, 12 1/2 feet down. >> police say drugs played a role in the murders, both defendants had prior run ins with the law, in fact kratz was in court on another charge. loyola university where

he went back inside the home and tried to prevent the gunman from entering that's when the suspect opened fire. the victim was shot three times rushed to temple university hospital in critical condition. the suspect ran off and remains on the run this morning. right now a man is in critical condition after being shot in the head at a philadelphia gas station. this happened around 1:30 a.m. at the sunoco on erie avenue in nicetown. the victim was standing outside the store when two armed men approached him. the victim ran as the crooks open fired hitting him. the bullets shattered the door of the mini mart no arrests have been made. gloucester county police are investigating a late night shooting in paulsboro. around 11:30 p.m., someone opened fire hitting the man in the leg. the victim was taken to cooper hospital he is expected to be okay. happening today, a mural
