their 90s has died as a fire rips through their montgomery county home spring avenue in elkins park. a neighbor called 911 to report the blaze at 44:00 a.m. when firefighters arrived at the found flames pouring from the second floor of the home and roaring out of the roof. the couple was later found dead inside a first floor bedroom. we have a crew at the scene and we'll bring you a live report at 10:00 a.m. there's new information about the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on the schuylkill expressway. one person has died. the 30-year-old victim was hit and killed on the eastbound side of the expressway at the montgomery drive off ramp at 10:30. the driver never stopped. we're told that the striking vehicle is a late model dark colored vehicle. it has damage to the front passenger side and the windshield. if you have any information call pennsylvania state police. this morning an 11-year-old boy is alive, but in stable

condition after a stray bullet hit him in the chest sitting inside his own home on township line road in chester when the bullet came flying in last night. the young victim is in the hospital children's hospital of philadelphia, so far, police have no suspects in the shooting. a son is pleading for justice after a double shooting left his mother dead. he and others guard for a vigil in frankford where the woman and her boyfriend were killed a week ago. >> he killed them, he murdered them. period. >> reporter: family and friends of bob depaul and august dempsey want answers why no charges have been filed against the couple's next-door neighbor who admitted shooting the couple in the head killing them. the police took him into custody and later released him. he claims following an argument with the couple they scaled his fence in the frankford

neighborhood and he shot them in self-defense in the early morning hours of july 16. tonight dempsey's son defended his mom and her boyfriend. >> my mom would never climb a fence she would never talk down to anyone, she would never provoke any violence because she would have to make it home to me and my brother. yonder why he is still in his house. >> reporter: at a vigil held outside the couple's home and the shooter, friends put up this sign against the growing memorial. the emotional crowd chanted lock him up. and then dempsey answer son asked for prayers. they asked the crowd to file a petition urging the district attorney's office to file murmd murmd -- murder charges. >> i'm asking why has this not been sped up, why has this happened i would like to know

we arrived on the scene and found 8 people dead in the back of the trailer. >> horrible story there. 20 people are in extreme critical condition or very serious condition. 8 others had non-life threatening injuries. the afternoon temple -- temperature there in texas hit 101 degrees. police arrested the truck driver. strong storms that went through the area this weekend left a mark. the action cam was in camden where a tree fell on top of the trailer home and the roof caved in saturday. nobody was home at the time. these trees were no match for mother nature in exton, chester county. they snapped over and missed hitting any homes or cars. limbs and branches littered the road. take a look at the scene in woodland camden county where a tree fell on top of the car.

54-year-old denise weber's body was found inside her apartment at the wesley inn on wesley avenue. investigators have not said how she died, but they did live together. the cape may county prosecutor and ocean city police are handling the investigation and it is very active this morning. >> the last of the four young men murdered in bucks county has been laid to rest. friends and family gathered for dean finocchiaro's funeral in levittown yesterday. a friend talked about working with the 19-year-old at richmond's ice cream company in levittown. >> he was the awesome young kid every time i walked in the door he made me laugh. >> dean finocchiaro was found bury on the denardo farm in solbury township. the lawyer for cosmo dinardo said he confessed for shooting all four after a drug deal went wrong.

>> a husband and wife in their 90s have been killed by a fire inside their montgomery county home. a neighbor saw the flames and sadly it was too late for the elderly couple. bob brooks is conthe -- is on the scene. all the way around this is a heartbreaking story. >> reporter: this couple in their 90s, 98 years old. such a tragedy behind me. still active, crews are out here working to make sure it doesn't reignite. they want to sure up the home the roof collapsed. i spoke with the children of the couple. they gave me a picture of them, i want to bring that up on the screen. this was taken this past spring they are roy and helen finestone. roy was a world war ii veteran in the navy, he was sent to the south pacific and when he came
