"action news" will continue to follow the story and bring you new information as we get it. >> allentown mayor ed pawlowski pled not guilty to dozens of charges against him in an alleged pay to play scheme. he was in court in philadelphia today. charge ready bribery, fraud and extortion. they say he steered contracts to businesses that donated to his campaign. well, this is what is left of a home in abington, montgomery county after a deadly fire tore through it overnight. the house is now a shell and the 69-year-old man that lives there never made it out alive. firefighters say that the man lived alone in the home of garfield avenue and was unconscious when they found him. a "action news" viewer took a picture and shared with us showing the fierce flames and 2:00 a.m. a neighbor called 911

afternoon. as we look live at the big picture, we are in the teens and the schuylkill expressway traffic at the walt whitman bridge for people getting out of town for the weekend and watching situations in fishtown. the water main break blocking frankford at girard avenue, this afternoon a crash right here on girard after frankford and it was blocked off as well. now it looks like traffic is moving in the westbound lane be eastbound unaffected and frankford with the water main break is set to reopen tomorrow afternoon. overall it looks like an improving situation. new closures took effect today at girard college. and now blocked for more than a week because of work on the trolley tracks and stay toward broad street you'll be better off. we are watching the crash in the bustleton section of the city

the first night of the ohio state fair ends in tragedy a teenager is dead and others injured after an accident on a ride. fairs across the country are now responding by shutting down that very same ride. here is the latest. >> reporter: the video is hard to watch. a ride called the fire ball breaking apart midair sending its riders on to the concrete below. >> i think about that moment

similar opportunity. live in cherry hill, i'm sara bloomquist, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. glad to see the happy ending. police say that one person was killed and another critically injured in an accident in wilmington, delaware this morning, it happened on the 500 block of south market street at noon and police say that a suv slammed into the side of the box truck leaving both the driver and passenger trapped. it took rescuers nearly 15 minutes to get them out. the passenger was flown to the hospital with serious injuries and crews worked to clean up diesel fuel and the accident remains under investigation. detectives are looking for an intruder that stole money from a northeast philadelphia mosque. this is surveillance video from the islamic society of greater philadelphia. after prying open the door the burglar goes straight to the donation box and steals the

a result of this accident. it happened 40 minutes ago. the driver did stop and as you see police are on the scene right now. but again we learned that one pedestrian appears to have die as a result of this accident involving a car than pedestrian. we don't know what led up to it but the driver remains on the scene and police are there investiga investigating. women that want to have children later in life have an option that is not offer much. freezing ovarian tissue and not the eggs. it's been around to year. it allow hormones to support pregnancy without hormone treatments. it's not as successful as egg freezing but new techniques are being developed .

cape may 78 degrees and wilmington 80. satellite and radar showing cloud cover here, what i'm tracking is two pieces of the puzzle. low pressure moving through the ohio valley, look at the radar it doesn't look like much now, it's not but another piece of energy north of minneapolis, and what that is, it's a short wave. when the two low pressures join it really intensifies the storm and that should happen to the south tomorrow evening. and that is when the heavy rain moves in. it's like a summer nor'easter, we are looking at the potential for 1 to 2 inches of rain and the northern half of the viewing area, along the coast wind gusts saturday up to 35 miles per hour as far as the risk of severe weather with damaging winds, could see some ice lated severe weather in areas to the south and i really think the main concern is the risk for flooding. timing it out on future tracker 6 tomorrow morning not much going on and a spotty sprinkle
