what we have heading our way is essentially a summertime nor'easter, if you look at double scan live you see moisture beginning to develop to the south, that is one piece of the storm a surface low over the ohio valley and there is another piece of this energy, this short wave north of minneapolis and what that will do is meet up with the low pressure. and intensifies to the south and works up the coast. what this means we have a lot of rain on the way. and this time tomorrow night by 5:00 and 6:00 we have heavy rain and it looks like this will be a slow moving storm. we have pockets of rain on and off by saturday morning. still heavy rain and it will take a while for that low pressure to move out. as far as the rainfall. we can use the pennsylvania turnpike as the dividing line. north of the turnpike 1 to 2 inches south the target of the

could not get in the safe. >> the burglar hit the watercooler and took a drink. they believe the guy may have worshipped there so they delayed to report the break-ins, they wanted to find him and see what he needs to help him out. he is down on his luck. now the police want you to take a good look at this guy's face and likely face charges and tough questions from mosque members. >> you steal from your own mosque? that is just absurd. i cannot understand that. >> it's believed that the burglar got away with less than $100, if you know anything or recognize the guy call northeast detectives. channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. new at 6:00 philadelphia police released a surveillance video here in the search for vandals that wrote threatening graffiti. it shows the suspects walking in

meteorologist, cecily tynan here with the nasty weather coming our way. flash flooding that caused problems and lots of clouds and a muggy night live on sky 6 hd our temple university camera looking at the center city key line and a cool day with a high of 81 degrees, dew points near 70 and feel the moisture in the air. a lot of times we have a heavy rain event you hear the phrase, turn around don't drown. i want to use the augmented

reality card to explain why you don't want to drive through any roads that are flooded. driving home friday night. you encounter 6 inches of rain on the road. you don't think it's a big deal but that is enough to stall out your car and you are stuck there, the waters keep rising, one foot of flood water is enough to carry away a small vehicle. you think an suv can get through anything the waters keep rising a foot and a half to two feet of water can carry out even large suvs. turn around don't drown. don't drive through flooded roads, it puts your life in jeopardy and rescuers who come to rescue you. it's cool with the cloud cover, 77 in reading and cape may 77 and beach haven 78 and wilmington 79. satellite 6 along with action radar showing the system i'm tracking is still getting its

act together. there is one low pressure over ohio and another piece of energy over minneapolis, what these two will do is join forces and become a summer nor'easter and the problem with the system it's slow moving and it's going meander, friday afternoon into saturday afternoon. the possibility for heavy rain and 1 to 2 inches sound and along the coast wind gusts 35 miles per hour through the day on saturday and the potential for severe weather does exist to the south. could have isolated storms with the potential for damaging winds but really i'm concerned about the possibility of flash flooding. this kind of breaks down the day. low risk of rain tomorrow morning during the morning commute. we start to get more moderate risk of rain for impacts and the heaviest rain is late tomorrow night into saturday morning. with very heavy downpours and
