southwest. the actual center of the storm is over northern west virginia and what this will do is track to the south and then move up the coast as a coastal storm and that will bring parts of our viewing area heavy rain. it's raining right now in delaware, beginning to move n isolated pop-up over the poconos but this is a storm system that's really going to be focusing its moisture on areas to the south. so a flash flood watch is in effect through saturday afternoo this has changed since yesterday. the national weather service has basically taken out the counties north of the pennsylvania turnpike, so real the heaviest weather will be areas farther to the south really closer to the center of that low pressure. that low pressure has shifted a little bit farther to the south. so, these are the latest details on the accuweather alert. delaware and south jersey will be the hardest hit areas and unfortunately these are the same areas that get that very heavy rain last weekend. widespread flash flooding. we're looking at south of

the morning still pouring in portions of south jersey and delaware but as we head through the day it does get better. lots of clouds, some lingering showers along the shore. at 9 o'clock in the morning and then the clouds will gradually break for some late day sunshine on saturday and sunday is looking really good. the problem is the rain is falling on already saturated ground and you can see future tracker showing the rainfall amounts, how really the focus wi and delaware, two to 4 inches expected there, philadelphia probably about an inch of rain. so, south jersey and delaware is where we really have the highest risk of some localized flooding so what this means overnight tonight early tomorrow morning, roads and streams a high risk of flash flooding there t-low lying areas, areas that typically flood could flood again, creeks and streams major rivers only a moderate risk of flooding. looks like this will be more of a small river event. the four day at 4:00 showing tomorrow not a pretty day but if you're patient i think we'll see some sunshine breaking out especially west of philadelphia late in the day a high 76, after clouds

somewhere else. the man left when the children refused. if you have any information on the luring suspect you're asked to call police. a delaware woman is accused of stealing more than $27,000 from a local booster club. 42-year-old stephanie trimmer was the president of the boy's high school lacrosse booster club in the cape henlopen school district. the detectives say she wrote checks out to herself for cash from the account until there was nothing left. trimmer was arrested yesterday and charged with felony theft. scery right in the middle of olde city philadelphia. coffins filled with human remains on the site of the future apartment complex. well now officials say some of the bones have up and disappeared. sleeping but there's really a tremendous gradient across our region as far as how much rain. areas north of philadelphia less than an inch but up to about 4-inches to the south, so the focus of the heavy rain and the potential for flash flooding is over delaware and southern new jersey, same area that got the heavy rain last weekend but the good news is the weekend is not a washout. sunday high pressure builds in and that will be a gorgeous day. so we really just have to make it through tonight. so double scan live showing we're beginning to see some of that moisture streaming in. south jersey and delaware we have a few showers, cape may right now reporting some light showers. also we have a steadier rain across kent county delawarene cd that rain is pretty heavy and that's beginning to lift up to the north and the east. but today we did see some sunshine and with that temperatures made it up to 86 degrees in philadelphia. allentown and reading. actually a pretty nice day. 84 trenton, 85 you can see the

areas getting some of the showers and the thicker clouds, cooler cape may 77 and dover also 77. the center of the storm system is over west virginia. it's tracking to the south. it should be moving off the coast of probably in the wee hours of the morning so future tracker showing 11 o'clock tonight this is when we dollar do get some heavy downpours. south jersey and delaware that's the area that will see the heaviest rain. tomorrow morning around 5 o'clock still some heavy rain along the coast and parts of southern and central delaware but as we head through the day, it begins to improve. we begin to get drier air mixing in so 11 o'clock in the morning lots of clouds, a few scattered showers, nothing heavy. by late in the day around 5:30 i think we'll still have a a lot of clouds along the coast and future tracker does show that but areas west we likely will see some peeks of sunshine and then sunday and remo builds in and that will really dominate our weather much of next week. bright sunshine, beautiful,
