across the it, the ride raises money for families of fallen first responders and their children. new this morning, a man is hurt by a hit-and-run driver in south philadelphia. the suspect did not get far. the hit-and-run happened at 2:20 a.m. on broad near lumbard. the driver sped off leaving the victim with a head injury and bruises and cuts. a 17 district police officer spotted the suspect's carat 13th and catherine. the driver was arrested and the car with new york license plates was impounded. the victim is in the hospital. haverford county police ae look for a killer. they released a surveillance picture they say is wanted for questioning. it seems the man was targeted for the brutal crime. annie mccormick says investigators have several clues.

a neighbor's home was damage in the fire. this morning the red cross is helping the victim. happening this morning we're learning more information about the tragic ride at the ohio state fair that killed an 18-year-old. witnesses say there were warning signs that tipped them off that something was not right about that. david packer with the details. >> reporter: blunt-force trauma that's the coroner's preliminary finding what killed tyler jarrell after he was tossed 50 feet from the fireball ride. he died at the scene. his family hired an attorney to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit. 7 others recovering from their injuries between 18 and 42. two were on the ride while trapped into their seats, they noticed something to seem wrong. >> i saw the floor raising up. >> reporter: the floor of the car coming unhinged. >> i was shocked because the
