plus neighbors in one shore town say mother nature is not entirely to blame, for all of this flooding. but the big story on "action news" is word that the man wanted for a killing in haverford township has now been linked to another shooting. investigators believe he opened fire, in the overbrook section of philadelphia, and less than an hour before the crime in delaware county. "action news" reporter annie mccormack joins us live with new details, annie. >> reporter: walter, after a photo did air last night, a photo from haverford township homicide, residents from this overbrook park community called police saying that they believed that the same person that was seen in that photo is same person that is responsible for firing a weapon, 17 times, here, just 45 minutes, before that homicide happened in haverford this is the man police are looking for, wanted for questioning in, last night's deadly shooting in the 2300 block of haverford road. last night, police released this surveillance image

captured moments after the shooting that happened around 6:00 p.m. it shows a man in the red hoodie running northbound on haverford, residents in the 1700 block of seventh seventh street in philadelphia, think that the same man may have fired more than a dozen shots here, around 5:00 p.m. last night. >> i heard about 15 shots, at least. >> reporter: today detectives from the delaware county district attorney's office came out to the overbrook park neighborhood looking for witnesses in the shooting on seventh seventh street no one was hit but several cars were, police identified victim of last night's haverford township homicide as 29 year-old john lee, and say he was visiting a friend at the haverford township apartment complex. lee had just left a pizza shop a half block away moments before the shooting. investigators say that this same man is seen on surveillance video, moments before the shooting, walk go ahead of lee, last night police said this about the investigation so far. >> that this may be related somehow to knowing each other,

or something happened because it appears that this shooter was waiting for him, or possibly followed him here. >> reporter: investigators are still looking for any information that they can get from the public. now, delaware county district attorney's office detectives there are leading this with haverford township police, rather but also southwest detectives are assisting. if you have any information call (610)565-6500. reporting live from overbrook park, annie mccormack channel six "action news". action cam on the scene of the house fire in east land down delaware county. fire fighters were called on the to the unit block of hers avenue around 3:30 this afternoon. one person was treated for smoke inhalation. most of the fire damage is on the third floor. no word yet on what sparked this blaze. investigators quickly arrested a driver wanted for a hit and run, and sent a pedestrian to the hospital in philadelphia officers were called to the broad street near lombard just before 2:30

this morning when they found the victim suffering from a head injury along with cuts and bruces. he was rushed to hahnemann hospital. moments later officers a few blocks away spot aid car matching description given by witnesses. driver was quickly arrested and now face ace list of charges. the coastguard is searching for a swim her went missing off point pleasant beach. twenty-four year-old woman went missing swimming with the friend at 2:30 in the morning. anyone with any information is asked to cat coastguard. homeowners in margate are angry over an all ready controversial dunes project they say heavy rains this weekend proved why the dunes are doing more harm then good. christmas came in july at shriners's hospital in north philadelphia the send tour beyond police sponsored motorcycle club made their summer toy run to the shriners kid, parents, staffers were all wide eyed watching the parade of shiny motorcycles on broad street. some bikers gave the kid a chance to sit on the cycles, and they delivered a mountain of toys to santa for the kid, staying in the hospital. >> time for a check of the accu weather forecast. i'm at the shore all last week
