2:30 pm
tv's number one daily viral video show "right this minute." a determined 18-year-old is out to prove the doubters wrong after -- >> doctors told him he wouldn't be able to walk again. >> now why he reveals what is going to get him out of the wheelchair. >> god opened my eyes to say you're here for a reason. the dogs don't seem spooked by this elk, but why a big rack is no obstacle to a good game of chase. buzzing the landmarks in a low-flying plane. >> no! >> see a skilled pilot's moment of truth. we've got christian, oli, charity, nick, and gayle breaking down the best on the web including --
2:31 pm
>> today we told women we were doing a general survey. then we surprised them. >> what? oh, my god. >> find out the question that's making everybody's day better. >> it's nice to see when people are like, oh, that's cool. this is the face of perseverance. here's 18-year-old wyatt tidwell. he's at the gym. his buddies are lifting him up. he is about to grab that bar. and pull himself right up. >> nice. >> come on. knock out a half dozen. knock out a dozen. >> most of us can barely do half of one. >> how many do you do? >> about six and i'm exhausted. >> yeah, well, he is kicking some pullup booty. now, back in october of 2016, wyatt suffered a motorcycling accident that left him injured, punctured lung, broken bone,
2:32 pm
also a broken vertebrae. doctors told him he wouldn't be able to walk again. which is why this next video is incredibly impressive again. >> good. >> i mean, it's a literal example of this recovery is going to go one step at a time. you see right there. there's the first one. let's keep going. >> to tell us more about what he's up to, we have wyatt via skype "right this minute." welcome to the show. >> hey, everybody. >> wow. so tell us what happened. >> i bought an older motorcycle and i was fixing it up and it malfunctioned and i couldn't slow the bike down. so i was ejected at 84 miles an hour, broke my femur, messed up nerves, broke my back. there were lots of injuries. miraculously i'm still here. >> to other people who might be watching this facing trials and
2:33 pm
transitions, what's your message for them? >> i'm no special person, but try to find the special key moments that make it worth it. when you find those special moments, rise on those for a few days. then find the next one. keep going and going. >> how do you have such an amazing positive outlook? where do you draw your strength? >> definitely my family, big key for that. i was sitting on the beach and my little sister was sitting there laughing. i go, you know what? if i wasn't here, you know, i wouldn't have -- be able to have those special moments with her. >> what's next for you? >> i'm getting ready to go to school. just living life, basically. instead of walking around, i'm rolling around. just like anybody else. >> it must feel good you can do all those pullups when other people can't. >> yeah. it's kind of funny. my left arm which i had bad nerve injuries, so i basically
2:34 pm
do 80% on my right arm and 20% on my left arm. sometimes i'll do one-arm pullups. >> look at you. >> it's fun though. it's good. >> that's awesome. and you're awesome for having the attitude that is actually inspiring a lot of people. keep it up. >> i really appreciate it. thank you. if you were to ask me if i could be doing anything apart from sitting in this chair doing this job, it would be doing exactly this. this is an incredible video. it's also incredibly irresponsible as you'll see, but it's footage of a camera mounted on the helmet of an anonymous pilot in this plane. now, he's really super low right now. pretty much cutting the trees. at this point where the pilot gets on side the road, starts getting lower and lower into the ditch. if you think he's low enough now, watch this. he's pretty much going to go alongside of whatever this is. look. it's insane.
2:35 pm
>> is this a colombian drug smuggler? like, what are we watching here? >> the rule is it's an air force pilot. the plane has been identified by one used by air forces around the world to train pilots including the croatian air force. >> and that's why it's anonymous. >> yeah. well, it's anonymous for a number of reasons. one, yeah, it's incredibly low. two, you notice how many times it's crossing over roadways and things like that. now, there's more to it as well. the person who posted this video to facebook said that this plane was flying through the landing area of a local paragliding club. but towards the end, there off in the distance you'll notice -- >> no. >> yeah. do it. barn storm the bridge, man. do it. >> oh. >> whoa. >> people online are saying pull the video down. we don't want this guy getting in trouble.
2:36 pm
at the same time you've got to understand all the inherent dangers that are on this in this situation. if you're in the air force, there are specific places that you go to train low level flying so nobody else is in danger. there is a noise in this video. you've got two dogs probably yelli ining instructions on wha do to get that poor deer from being stuck in the fence. it's always in the hips no matter how skinny and new they are. this is a young one. stuck in this fence. >> it's good it's a wooden fence. because that way they can cut around it easily and put slabs of wood back up again. >> the deer did have some minor bleeding, but basically they do get it free. >> oh, ouchy. >> you can hear it screaming. the dogs are screaming. they yell at the dogs to be qui quiet. >> shut up. >> but in the end they were able
2:37 pm
to rescue that poor thing. and it did run away quickly, so i think it's going to be all right. >> nicely done, dad. >> yeah. i don't think these dogs are spooked by this elk. let's say the dogs are running around. the elk's running around. >> that poor elk is wondering how the heck do i get out of here. that's a huge fence too. anywhere that thing goes, it's going to get stuck. >> i thought it was stuck. but if you see on one side of the yard, there's a big opening which i think is the driveway where the elk could just wander out. >> in a situation like this, you know, the best thing is get the dogs under control. you're spooking out the animal. it could get caught up in fencing or something else. >> all we see is a lot of running around. you know what the owners are thinking, they're going to be dog tired by the end of this. anybody got a light? i need a light. hold on. forget it. this guy's got it. >> oh! >> whoa! >> my goodness. what the heck. did he just light a fire cracker
2:38 pm
instead of cigarettes? >> no. tried the first lighter. didn't work. then picked up the second one. >> is that the karma of trying to light a cigarette while people are eating? >> our food is already cooked. we're good. >> jokes aside, reports are he did singe his eyebrows. >> you don't say. >> if that's as bad as it got, he's lucky. >> he also suffered minor injury. but of course it was posted in social media and folks in china are chiming in. first they say he should quit smoking and second, don't buy cheap lighters. let's move to this cell phone store in india. the clerk is trying to insert something into it. when suddenly the customer is looking over. now they're trying to stomp it out. the store is investigating this information. the cell phone manufacturer is also investigating. they did agree to replace the phone. but this person may have used a third party charger. sometimes when you use a different charger, this is
2:39 pm
something that's different. >> now do you believe me that my phone doesn't work? >> take a look at the phone once the fire was out. let's head back over to china. this is a cell phone repair store and this fella is trying to reinsert the battery. the flames go into his face but he was not injured. >> this makes me want to go back to analog. just crank phone. i'm cool. >> unbeatable. >> i think with this situation you've got to go with statistics much like flying in a plane. there are billions of smartphones out there. so once or twice, something like this is going to happen. >> i just don't want to be the first or second or third. her loose tooth has got to go, so -- >> she's going to make this happen. >> see if this pup can make a successful pull. and this parkour pro's got some moves. >> that just seem impossible. >> the impressive way he sticks them. >> oh!
