charged with abuse igchildren at a day care is now out on bail. in montgomery county a deadly crash involving a car and an suv in norristown. both ended up on the front yard of a real estate business. chopper 6 hd was over the scene and you can see it was a violent impact and it unfolded at 5:30 this morning at west main street and hamilton. jeanette reyes is live at the scene in norristown where she spoke with witnesses. >> reporter: well, the da's office is leading investigation into the fatal accident and remained tight-lipped on the details. there is a lot going on over the last several hours. interestingly enough we see them taking the tow trucks to move the vehicles 20 yards to the moment of impact to the middle of this intersection. something we have not seen before and they are recreating

this crash at the moment of impact. laying the tires down where it starts. and it seems the authorities want to clear up important details before they confirm anything else. >> i was sound asleep and heard this horrific crash. >> at 5:30 a loud crash at hamilton streets in norristown jolts reads out of bed. >> it was horrific and it sounds like a train crash and it was unbelievably loud. >> a black suv and mangled sedan landed on the front lawn of a real estate business. >> they used the jaws of life to try to get the one guy out of the car. and then they started to wave their hands to the ambulance people that came of and he was like, i guess he was dead. they took the guy out of the truck, the suv, put him on a stretcher and took him away on the ambulance. and the other guy they just threw a sheet over him.

round posted 10% of his $200,000 bail this morning to secure his release. and investigators say that round assaulted the victims, a boy and girl both 5-year-olds old multiple time. round a british citizen faces charges for sex assault and related offenses. we know the identity of a philadelphia police officer arrested following a crash in north philadelphia. officer nicholas harper was off duty when his vehicle struck several parked cars on north 6th street yesterday morning. officer harper was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. >> and a water team suited up and used a system of ropes to the man that appeared to be stranded on a rock in the middle

that at 3:00 and 87 degrees by 4:00, it looks like we are back down into the 70s as soon as 7:00 or 8:00 tonight and i am posting showers and thunderstorms but not as numerous as what we had yesterday but there is still the chance of of a pop-up thunderstorm that produced a drenching downpour and some flooding and your big risks today and tonight. lightning is a high chance like yesterday but the big issue is the downpour activity and the chance of more of that flash flooding on some roadways and we had problems particularly in this castle county where there was an issue. strong winds and moderate chance but the downpour lightning issue you have to worry about the most. some of these heavy hitters could start at 2:00, 3:00, not as many but where they hit they'll be memorable with the flash floodi flash flooding potential.

david with another check of the accuweather forecast. another warm one. >> and a chance of spotty drenching storms unfortunately. we got enough of those yesterday. stormtracker 6 live double scan showing you nothing is popping yet as we look at sky 6 hd a little haze here and there around the region and not looking bad in center city. and dew points are up and feeling humid. as we take a look at the temperatures, cool drinks are a good idea. we are up to 82 degrees, there is that dew point in philadelphia. 67 not oppressive but significantly humid and you'll feel it out there work ougt be winds are light and ocean temperature running a warm 76 typical for august and late july.

78 is the current temperature in allentown and 82 in philadelphia and 80 in wilmington. down the shore 80 in cape may. not adding much to the shore temperature but in philadelphia we could go 6 or 7 degrees higher. here are the dew points and in some places dew points in the 70s. 75 in dover. anything 70 or better basically where all these darker shades are on the dew point map that is oppressive humidity. we are back in the zone, trenton and allentown not all that far off. everybody needs to take it easy and cool drinks and keep your eyes on the skies too. between now and 1:30 and on to 3:00. a chance across the region that some of us could receive a drenching downpour and a thunderstorm and lots of lightning and similar to the storms we saw yesterday. we advance this and movement to these and in general like yesterday not a big steering in the atmosphere and these are liable to pop up and drift past you and that means if they dump
