tonight the individual is in the hospital. it is monday night. the big story on "action news" tonight is a police involved shooting late this afternoon and tonight we learn that the suspect was allegedly under the influence of narcotics. "action news" reporter dann cuellar is live at police headquarters with the complete story. dan? >> jim, investigators say the two officers were responding to reports with a man with a gun. no sooner did they arrive than the man fired at them. >> it was just after 4:30 when gunshots rang out. a family was watching gunshotting fly on television and suddenly realized there were real bullet bullets flying throe window. >> outside police were responding to reports of a man with a gun. >> we have reports from the civilians that he ensured the
