stop the rhetoric in this country. we have to bring people together. >> calls for unit any after a day of deadly violence. a driver plowed into a crowd of counter protesters. a woman was killed and 19 injured. dozens were hurt as fights broke out. today in the delaware valley, they are speaking out to condemn the hatred at the core of the chaos. a deadly day in charlottesville virginia. there was a rally of white nationalists. that was met by counter protests. this afternoon someone plowed his vehicle into the protesters of the valleys. and a helicopter headed to the

incident and crashed killing two people onboard. three people are dead following violence in charlottesville. >> white supremacistses and counter protesters clashed. starting on friday, white nationalists assembled swinging torches. police calling it an unlawful seamly. violence reached a new level when a car ran into the group protesting the white supremacistses. >> the fatal crash taking the life of a 32-year-old woman. the suspect identified as a 20-year-old white male. two officers, llt cullen and burke bates died in a helicopter crash assisting public safety. white nationalists are being

blamed by the governor for bringing violence to the state. >> go home. you are not wanted in this commonwealth. >> president trump speaking to the nation also condemned the violence. >> we condemn in this strongest terms this display of pigtry and violence on many sides. >> many are asking why the president didn't denounce the white supremacistses specifically. >> one of the strongest statements from republican senator orrin hatch tweeting, we should call evil by its name. my brother didn't give his life for natzi ideas to go unchallenged at home. >> along with a woman killed during the violence, two virginia state troopers were killed when a helicopter crashed near charlottesville. the troopers are 48-year-old lieutenant cullen and trooper

burke bates. foul play is not expected but the cause remains unknown. >> within hours people across the delaware valley gathered to show their support for the people of charlottesville. they want to send a message of unity. >> a number of community groups organized to support those injured and killed in charlottesville. in jenkintown, little more than two dozen people gathered at the town square. we want a measure of kindness and getting along in peace. the rallies like this one condemn the white nationalist rally and the death of a counter protester after a car drove into the group. we are talking about people that say, it's not okay. kindness matters and they are

outside of a target store in northeast philadelphia. a man police are calling a person of interest showed up with northeast detectives. it happened on bustleton avenue at the store. the gunman pulled a weapon and fired seven times striking the victim once in the back. the victim remains in stable condition tonight. no word about charges in this case. >> from our new jersey news room, a man drown in wood bur wy new jersey after he stole a sandwich from wawas and jumped into the lake to get away from the police. >> it was a tragic scene at the booed witwoodbury lake. detectives say it started around 4:00 a.m. the 20 year old was spotted shoplifting from the wawa's up the street. when police arrived, he took off

and jumped into woodbury lake. >> there were police lined up everywhere. fire departments here. i got a few stories from people working with the team saying somebody drowp. >drown.>> it was clear rescue cs were searching for someone. the man swam under the bridge and they lost sight of him. at 10:00 this morning he was found in the middle of the lake and removed by the dive team. >> i opened door and looked to my left and the body was there. right now, officials are ruling the death as accidental. brown says she lived in woodbury her whole life. she's never seen anything like this before. >> we hope this never happens
