the 2900 block of west field avenue. the fire started at 4:30 a.m. firefighters rescued person who was sleeping on the third floor. the victim was taken to cooper suffering from smoke inhalation. investigators are looking into what caused the fire. one police officer in florida is dead, three others injured after two separate shootings. in the first case, two officers stopped three suspicious people last night in the downtownof kissamee which is known for drug activity. a 4th person fired shots at the officer. matthew backs at her was shot owe baxter was shot and killed. in jacksonville two police officers were injured after shots fired there. no word on their condition. two pennsylvania state troopers are in the hospital

after being shot on the job. the troopers came under fire during a call in fayette county southeast of pittsburgh. the suspect was stopped for an outstanding warrant. as the troopers approached them possibly while under cover. police say the suspect pulled a gun from a backpack and fired the shots. the troopers were injured but one of the troopers actually got a shot off hitting and killing the suspect. both troopers were told are expected to survive. a noorches in -- news conference in the case scheduled for this morning. creative mind behindment adunda festival will be laid to rest. fernandez founded the festival 42 years ago. a viewing at universal high school will be held this morning from 8:00 a.m. to

10:00 immediately followed by a service. a check on the disabled vehicle along the parkway ended up in a life saving moment for one state trooper. the trooper was responding to a crash call near middle township when he spotted a car on the side of the road thursday afternoon. he got out and saw 70-year-old joan murphy leaning on the side rail and struggling to breathe. she collapsed and trooper paul performed cpr. within a few seconds murphy started to breathe and started to talk. "action news" spoke with trooper paul yesterday. >> it wasn't until this morning that it kicked in, it was a normal day of work, i'm glad it was a great turnout. >> trooper called a ambulance an murphy was taken to the hospital to be treated and we are hearing she is doing well. >> how would you like to wake up a half billion dollars
