we begin with breaking news this noon. police in delaware arrested a suspect that allegedly shot a 10-year-old boy with a bb gun and led police on a chase through the streets of stanton in a stolen vehicle. john rawlins is live from stan tonight with the details. >> there is still questions about this case. it began at 8:30 and was resolved quickly. a 15-year-old driving a black toyota, the one behind me here. he apparently drove up to a 10-year-old boy and showed him a bb gun and asked if the 10-year-old wanted to buy it, and then alleged that the 15-year-old shot the 10-year-old with the bb gun and then drove off. police were alerted and they spotted a black suv that fit the description and there was a brief slow speed chase broken off at one time and the black suv wound up on a street here

the intersection. police found it was empty and they had a good idea who they thought the suspect was and they live close and have issues with him in the past. and they did go to that house and they made an arrest. he was taken into custody without incident and charges are depending on the 15-year-old. and learn that he is facing auto theft charges from a prior situation that occurred here earlier in the month and charged by state police. we are waiting for clarity on details but that is pretty much what happened here. it began at 8:30 and we are over with an arrest sometime before 9:00, 9:15 this morning. it was a quickly resolved. and police had run-ins with the individuals charged with this situation today.

channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. in delaware authorities say that two innocent bystanders were grazed by gun fire inside of a wilmington home last night. this was the scene at clifford brown walk. detectives say that a 23-year-old was hit chest. and both were taken to the hospital. at last check the woman was listed in serious condition and the man in stable condition. powerful thunderstorms roared through the area last night causing flooding and taking down trees and damaging homes. it was a rude awakening for a homeowner in gloucester township and they were suddenly awakened when a wall collapsed on beverly drive at 2:00 this morning. everyone was able to get out of the home safely and it is believe that ground water seeped into the foundation and wiped away the outside wall. and a tree fell at 66th vote at

accuweather forecast next. president trump today is on the attack angrily going after politicians in arizona after a raucous rally. he criticized flake and john mccain. he cast the deciding vote that doomed the controversial republican health care bill. during the rally trump used the opportunity to again try to defend his response to the violence in charlottesville. he shifted the blame squarely on the media. >> i hit them with everything, i got the white supremacist and the neo nazi and kkk. i got them all. >> meanwhile, protesters and supporters clashed at the rally and police used tear gas to break up the crowd who began throwing bottles and rocks. more than 6 thousand students are arriving at the university

even though it's free you have to show up early to get the prime seats. the family is one of thousands that got up bright and early to mark their turf on the sand and surf. >> they have visiting from new york and jumped at the chance to see the high flying festival. we found when we came down the air show was happening. my husband is a navy reversist we came down to support and watch. it's suppose to be a great show. >> from coolers to chairs those that snagged a front row street. from brigantine to past ventnor. >> i have been coming here for years and know how crowded it gets. he want a good seat close to the viewing stand and the ocean. where all the activity takes place. >> some brought the coolest vehicle to watch the air show. their surf boards. >> it would be great to have the surf and the planes.
