search teams have found a body at sea off singapore thought to be a missing sailor for the uss john mccain and some remains were thought to be on the destroyer. and the admiral commander of the seventh fleet was removed. he was expected to retire next month but commanders have lost confidence in his leadership.

call about an individual that was driving a black suv that shot a woman with a bb gun. then another call a similar report only this time the apparent intended target a 10-year-old child. >> 10-year-old adam was riding his bike this morning when a man driving this toyota suv approached him. >> he was like do you want something, here you go and pointed a gun. it wasn't pointing at me but to him. and i was like no thanks. adam headed home fast and said it looks like this. the guy yelled it's an air soft gun that used gas to fire bb style projectiles. >> heard it and saw it fly and lucky missed and hit my shirt. >> adam told his mom and stepdad and newcastle police were alerted and officers spotted a black suv. >> they attempted to stop the vehicle on kirkwood highway and

then a pursuit ensues. >> the pursuit was called off after it hit another car, because of the prior shooting incident police identified the suspect and went to this house on stanton road. there the 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody and the stolen suv was found nearby earlier this month the same suspect was arrested for stealing cars from a commercial garage. they have concerns about the 15-year-old's home enenvironment. >> i don't think they get good guidance from their home situation and may go astray. >> so the 15-year-old has been in trouble before. and the suspect is in custody again for the second time in just a little over two weeks and i expected to be formerly charged today as far as today's events later this afternoon. live in minquadale, channel 6

"action news." >> a suspicious looking powder caused officials in chester county to evacuate the courtroom today. on the hundred block of market street at 2:30 this uponing. authorities immediately evacuated the floor so a hazmat team could come in and investigate. it turns out the powder was not dangerous and some were checked out as a precaution and everybody was allowed back in a short time later. pumpkins will not be flying through fields in delaware. the world championship pumpkin chunkin association are canceling the event. land owners are reluctant to host it because of a lawsuit. because of a woman that was critically injured. the science channel producer was hit by a chunk of metal blew off

the big story is the vandalism investigation in two separate towns. vernon odom is live at coatesville headquarters with the story. >> reporter: hello gray and to you monica, good evening. police in this section of chester county have tonight launched a major manhunt in response to hate crimes in the predawn hours of tuesday morning. valley township and coatesville were the targets. in coatesville's west end residents woke up at daylight tuesday to find nazi season anti-black graffiti on three pieces of private property. a garage, a building and a vehicle. there were four separate defacements in valley township. the towns folk are up in arms. >> everybody here in coatesville are united against this and letting everyone know coatesville is united against all the hate and we have no time
