suddenly you see this. >> oh, my gosh. >> they're in the closet? >> there is a 10-year-old boy and his 2-year-old sister. you can see as they wet rags and put them over their face. apparently they had been crouched down close to the floor. the rescuers then use those respirators and put it on the children and are able to carry them out of this apartment. parentally the flames and the smoke had prevented them from getting outside. they took shelter. >> that was smart thinking on their behalf. >> and a lot of people are agreeing with you. especially because after the rescue when they're telling him wow, that was great, well done. how did you know what to do? he said i learned it on television. >> i was going to say, you do see that kind of stuff on tv. in this situation, it worked in their advantage. >> you can learn stuff from television. >> i can't imagine what the family members must be thinking. how heart wrenching to know they're still stuck inside and you can't do anything to help. >> that's why we get to see this moment in the video, tappy ending where you can see the relief on their faces. an incredible story.
