a stop along the road ends with a woman's death in a juniata, neighborhood. fly eagles fly as the eagles prepare to take on the chiefs this afternoon. >> let's go outside to chris sowers, what's it feel like? >> reporter: it doesn't feel like football weather, temperatures will top out in the 80s. hurricane jose has strengthened, maximum sustained wednesday up to 90 miles per hour we have gusts as high as 110 on the right side of the storm. it's moving north 9 to 10 miles per hour and expected to pass by cape hatteras north carolina later today. approximately 200, 225 miles off the coast of atlantic city by tuesday afternoon into the evening hours. here's the good news. each one of the lines represents a different tropical forecast

model. they all show the storm well off the coast as it passes on by to the east. there's an outliar, one of the lines is closer than the bunch, but the general trend is for the storm to miss us out to sea. it will bring some impacts to the jersey shore, we're not looking at a good walloping like sandy. we're looking at waves up to ten feet. huge breakers on the sand, when they break the whole beach s.s.we'l'l'lleeeeaveseses highen feet that create beach erosion and rip currents and winds up to 40, 45 miles per hour and maybe a period of rain midday tuesday into the late afternoon. inland locations, points north an west, you won't see much out of the system maybe a breeze. in time meantime, eagles are in kansas they are taking on the chiefs, weather looks all right for that phillies takes on the

information comes in. >> tragedy in the juniata section overnight, a 20-year-old woman fell to her death. it happened on the 4300 block of castor avenue. police say she was driving with friends when they pulled over so they could go to the bathroom. she fell 20 feet off the bridge overpass. her body was taken to the medical examiner's office. a pedestrian was hit and killed in new jersey on the northbound lanes of 73 in maple shade township. the vehicle involved stopped near the scene. at this time the circumstances of the incident are unclear. we do no -- know, no charges have been filed. ntsb will not be called to investigate to cause a septa train to derail in northern liberties. chopper 6 hd over the scene at 11:00 a.m. at the spring garden station. 30 passengers were on board the

it's far enough off the coast where the major impacts stays away from us, but close enough to see some impacts. the most likely scenario here is a brush of rain and winds for the coast. big waves up to ten feet and the dangerous rip currents. windy gusts 40 to 45 miles per hour. we have a possibly scenario working we have the new nam. 70/30. 70% this is the scenario and 0% we won't have to deal with that. even if we did see the storm move closer to the coast. two to four inches of rain, winds gusts 50 to 55 miles per hour. it's windsier but the worst of it -- windsier but the worst ever it stays university to sea. hurricane irma was a category five with winds up to 180.

collision caused a vehicle to overturn and the other on the sidewalk. look at the scene. this happened at 1:15 a.m. on at the intersection of 42nd and spruce street. the driver was taken to the hospital in stable, but serious condition. >> the federal corruption trial of u.s. senator bob menendez is heading into the third week of court proceedings. he is charged with accepting bribes from a florida doctor in exchange for a business pursuit and helping the doctor get visa's for his girlfriend. he said it is evidence of a friendship not corruption. two dogs are home after being stranded in a storm drain 14 feet below ground in lower south hampton. a couple heard the dogs barking they found the dogs in the drain

been shut down. the fraternity's national organization has suspended lsu chapter. we turn to the frightening moments at a fair in north carolina where a worker plunged while the ride malfunctioned. the worker was trying to save the i don't young boys after the ride began to tilt. when the car turned 90 degrees that's when witnesses say the carnival worker jumped into action and climbed up the ride, but the worker lost his footing and that's when he fell. oh, my god!
