that happened about at the same time in different parts of the city. the action cam was in the h and tioga street in the hunting park section of the city where a 23-year-old man was run down. a dark colored toyota hit the man and kept going. the it victim was taken to temple university hospital he is in critical condition. police are looking for a driver who hit a man on a north philadelphia street earlier this morning. the driver kept going, the action cam at glenwood avenue or broad street. a maroon vehicle hit the man at 1:00 p.m. the impact threw the victim 75 feet. else in critical condition after undergoing surgery at temple university hospital. police are in the process of obtaining surveillance video from several cameras in the area. this morning police in montgomery county want to talked to 30-year-old greg feldman in

connection with the shooting of a woman in her home. police say he was once involved with the victim's daughter. jeff chirico has more details. >> reporter: the dog was barking i heard screening and more shots at that point i realized it sounded like gunfire. >> mary johnson lives across the street from this large home on meadow view drive. a woman was shot after answering her door. johnson walked toward the house and saw the gunman leave. >> i stared at him and wondered what he was going on. he never looked at me and drove away. >> reporter: police are looking for greg feldman. the victim apparently knows feldman. >> i don't want to get into too many details. but he was involved with the victim's daughter at some point in time. >> reporter: after the shooting

the victim and her husband waited on the front porch for first responders. >> she handled it very well she was calm and conscious. he feels applying pressure to the wound until the paramedics arrive. in response to the shooting, grand view hospital went into lockdown. apparently feldman had a grudge with a doctor nearby. he was driving a car kfc4605. the da stressed feldman needs to be found. >> we believe mr. feldman to be armed at this point anybody having any information about him should contact authorities call 911 right away. >> reporter: miss herman suffered wounds to the head -- chest and neck. apparently the victim told police several attempted shots

it won't get lower anytime soon, hurricane maria is tracking up the eastern seaboard off the coast of north carolina by tuesday. it will make the right hand turn out to sea, but it will increase the wave heights by the middle of next week and that means more dangerous rip currents in the forecast. that's the only issue over the next several days we'll have building heat and humidity, today tomorrow and monday, it will be very dangerous at the jersey shore. i'll have more on the approachful hurricane maria and cool numbers to talk about in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. >> we look forward to the update. this little last taste of summer as we begin the fall season may tempt you to head to the shore to take a dip in the water. be forewarned that would be a dangerous decision. thanks to hurricane jose

dangerous rip currents are stirring up the water. beach activity is closed because of the dangerous conditions. >> the water is very dangerous, you have to know what you're doing, you should not go past your knees in the water. here's another word of caution. look for a beach with a lifeguard on duty, it's considered to be out of season the right now, so many don't have lifeguards on duty. 7:33 a.m., new information to tell you about this morning a shooting outside a bar in the strawberry mansion section of the city led to a fight that forced police to call for backup. the action cam at the scene, 34rd and sergeant. one man shot another man in the leg at 2:15 a.m. dozens of people poured out of the bar and started fighting. things got bad and police in an unusual move called for a citywide assist to break up the fight. there were no reports of any arrests, the shooting victim is

in critical condition. police are looking for are a gunman who shot a man five times on a north philadelphia street. the action cam at the scene, 800 block of west clear field street. the 42-year-old man was injured at 11:30 p.m. he is in critical condition. investigators have not indicated a motive. murder charges have been filed against a driver in a horrific crash in bucks county. we learned the crash killed a youngman and left his girlfriend severely injured in bedminster three weeks ago. trish hartman has the details on the arrest. >> reporter: 30-year-old jaqulyn jones has been charged in connection with the deadly crash on route 611 august 30. police say she had numerous prescription drugs if her -- in her system when she crossed the center line killing chris marinelli and injuring his girlfriend. >> the reason she is charged with third degree murder in the

case because as the affidavit states she is on her third dui. >> reporter: authorities say she was drive winning a suspended license. she was granted an occupational limited license to drive to and from work, but on august 30th she was shopping. >> we have receipt that demonstrates she was coming from a shopping spree. >> reporter: robert james is chief of the homicide by vehicle unit for the bucks county district attorney's office and seeing an alarming number of cases like this one. >> my office have charged five different defendants with third degree murder in various crash cases. >> reporter: he hopes more serious jail time will deter people from driving under the influence. now the family of chris marinell is raising money by a go fund me

authority police officer he has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. philadelphia police have arrested a man for allegedly trying to lure three children into his car last week. police believe the suspect may be connected to similar incidents as far back as february. 35-year-old faces seven counts ever luring a child into a vehicle. police say in several of the incidents he offered the children money to come with him. thankfully the children ran away. states of pennsylvania and delaware were targeted by alleged russian hackers during the presidential campaign. a total of 21 states were targeted by the russians. however, pennsylvania governor tom wolf said there's no evidence that hackers breached state election systems. notification came a year after u.s. department of homeland security officials said states were targeted by hacking efforts possibly connected to russia.

16 car pileup on interstate 80 tied up traffic in the area for several hours. man! a driver managed to roll over down a cliff. the driver got out of the vehicle on his own. the area only had a couple of months to thaw out. all the snow helped ease to drought in california. check this out, the pilot of a small plane crashed landed in the street in glendale, california. the pilot reported engine troubles a few miles away from burbank airport. the plane went down on a tree-lined street and landed mostly intact. three people were on board. nobody was hurt there were no injuries on the ground. wow. okay. goodness. 7:44 a.m., let's get you caught up on the forecast as you plan your weekend go out and go to the beach.

don't get in the water, have fun. >> reporter: it's summer, it's going to feel like july out there. let's get you outside, live on sky6 live hd, beautiful shot looking at the ben franklin bridge. temperatures are cool, some locations in the 50s, we have no humidity out there. it's not too bad as of yet. the numbers will climb over the next 24, 48 hours. 67 degrees in philadelphia. we like this number here. dewpoint 52. that's a good number that means the air is nice and comfortable. if only it was to stay in the 50s, as we get into tomorrow and monday, the number skyrockets especially monday afternoon we're back in the mid to upper 60s dewpoints. it will feel allows out there considering the time of year. almost the beginning of october we'll talk about heat index values come monday. reading, 59. philadelphia, 67. 48 in the poconos. 66 in trenton. and 70 for both cape may and atlantic city.

you can thank this huge area of high pressure which can't move because the remnants of escrows josie -- hurricane jose. we have an atmospheric traffic jam when this high pulls away, jose will pull away and the high will shift off the coast. this pattern will not breakdown for another four or five days. with that said the heat and humidity builds everyday. it will be uncomfortable each and everyday. the jet stream way up here to the north, cool to the north, south of that line, it's nice and toasty. actually you can see that with the temperatures. very warm across the southeast. it's snowing across the high plains and the northern rockies, especially as you get into wyoming and montana where locations have picked up over a foot of snow, believe it or not. a huge difference from the west coast to what we're seeing here on the east coast.
