the protest, fans walking by respecting them. >> bob brooks, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. other news now, a massive fire gutted a south philadelphia warehouse early this morning, the action cam was there as flames engulfed a one-story building on the 1700 block of water street at 2:30 a.m. there were no reports of injuries and no word on a cause. police are looking for the person who fired a shotgun at a germantown house wounding a young woman sitting on the porch on the 5600 block of stokes street. someone walked up own fired and grazed the woman and shattered windows. there were no arrests. the search continues for two men who fired shots at police officers in north philadelphia. the officers were taking a

report for a stolen cell phone at 13th and york streets when they heard the shots being fired. police returned fire, neither man was hit and they ran away from the scene. police discovered a gun. it is not clear if the officers were the target of the shooting. mexico was rattled by an earthquake, two people died in a 6.1 magazine tooled quake it -- magnitude quake. it was an aftershock following the 7.1 magnitude earthquake in mexico city. residents around a failing dam are around a flood watch. federal aid is flowing in now that san juan's port is open. fema is about to head off crisis in towns without water. the agency plans to take satellite phones to towns that were cut off. >> today's philadelphia puerto

87 to the south. wilmington and millville. when you factor in the humidity all of a sudden the mid 08 ts translate into upper 80s. millville, feels like 90. 88 in allentown. 88 in philadelphia. 89 in reading. satellite and radar there's not too much going on. we have high pressure in control. unfortunately for us if not a fan of heat an humidity, the way the high is situated it's pouring the heat and humidity in here. as we look at the surface maps we have jose spinning its wheels off the coast of nantucket. we're getting five to seven foot waves around the delaware beaches and the jersey shore, we're dealing with dangerous rip current. monday the high is up to the north. it will be strong enough to push maria out to sea before it makes landfall in the outer banks of the carolinas. maria has weakened further down to 105-mile an hour.

we're losing a lot of bright reds that's a good sign that means the storm is weakening a little bit. but it has to pass over the warm waters of the gulfstream. it's 24 hours away from crossing over there. we're 105 miles per hour i expect it to strengthen a little bit before getting closer to the coast monday night and tuesday. spaghetti plots, each line represents a different forecast model. they bring the storm 150 miles east of north carolina monday night into tuesday morning. it hooks out to sea that's the heat pump high and preventing it from making will, fortunately, across the mid atlantic. it will produce an impact along the delaware beaches and the jersey shore. tuesday night, wednesday, into thursday, rough surf. we have 45-foot waves near the center of the storm. we'll see 5 to 10-foot breakers

at the site where the house stood to honor the lieutenant, captain and lieutenant hopefully' wilmington mayor declared on september 24th of each year, the city will pay special tribute to the firefighters who died in the line of duty. thousands of people packed the benjamin franklin parkway for the sake of children today. annual parkway run and walk benefits pediatric cancer research and care at children's hospital of philadelphia. childhood cancer is the leading cause of death and disease in children under the age of 15. the event hopes to raise one million dollars this year.
