president trump makes a major announcement about puerto rico as the island's governor declares a humanitarian crisis. >> and the big story on "action news" is the triple shoot that left one person dead outside of an apartment complex in north philadelphia. this noon police are searching for at least two gunmen. katherine scott is live with what we know so far about the shooting. >> sara i'm speaking about neighbors today, that everything is relatively quiet last night before a does shots rang out here. three people were hit and two people were in the hospital in stable condition. a third man lost his life. >> a 36-year-old man fatally shot. two more men wounded in a triple shooting in north philadelphia. >> 16, 17, 18, 19 shots.

like everybody was shooting. called to a shooting to a spring garden apartments on the 700 block of green. arriving officers found two men ages 28 and 56. they were in a courtyard and both shot both rushed to hahnemann hospital. as they were gathering evidence while two neighbors walking by a nearby store in this grass where a teddy bear and candle now sit. >> we heard someone screaming and came back outside. and the boys laying over in the grass and the bushes. >> he was completely unresponsive. with a gunshot wound to the back, police rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. investigators believe that two gunmen are responsible. it's two separate size caliber and two semi automatic weapons were used. >> there are real time crime

cameras here will help with this case. and the motive remains under investigation. katherine scott, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. a philadelphia police officer, was sent to an area hospital after his vehicle crashed with another car. and chopper 6 hd is over the scene of decatur block in morel park and the person inside of the other vehicle was take tonight the hospital and that person's condition is not yet known and what caused this crash is under investigation. police are looking for who shot a 19-year-old man on the 1900 block of cross keys street at 12:30 this morning. the victim was shot once in the thigh and taken to penn hospital. police have not released a possible motive. a road sign fell on the atlantic city expressway injuring a construction worker. the sign fell just before 9:00

in the westbound lanes near mile marker 19 in hamilton township atlantic county. state police tell "action news" that the sign fell on to an employee of the south jersey transportation authority while crews were change that sign. the worker was take tonight area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. president trump says he plans to visit puerto rico on tuesday this comes after the island's governor called the destruction left behind by hurricane maria a humanitarian crisis. the storm killed at least 16 people there and much of the island is still without power after the storm slammed into puerto rico and just 5% of the electricity is restored and they need more federal disaster aid immediately. back here temperatures remain well above average, the calendar may say fall but it doesn't feel like it. sky 6 hd looking at cape may, new jersey, some fog and clouds
