opened the door and told police there was a man there dressed as a pizza delivery driver and asked the victim if he ordered a pizza and the victim said no and tried to close the door. he tried to force himself in. and saw the owner's pit bull and fired two shots. he is in critical condition. i spoke with the police a short time ago. >> we have witnesses on the block and a cooperative witness at this time. and we have to work and track down video. >> do you think this was the wrong house or is it hard -- >> at this stage it's too early to determine if this man was targeted or if it was an accidental address. >> now police did find a pizza box at the scene with a half eaten pizza inside. they say they have a lot of work

"action news" is learning more about the brazen shooting that happened in limerick montgomery county. and the three day manhunt that ended last night in phoenixville, chester county. police say that the suspect 30-year-old gregory feltman took his own life and they are trying to piece together the timeline. bob brooks is outside of a wawa where his body was found. >> that is a wawa in phoenixville. this is a tragic few days for so many. he took his own life again and there are so many people that are relieved and have a heavy heart. >> the search for 30-year-old gregory feldman came to an end in the wawa parking lot.

police say he was the man that tried to kill his girlfriend's mother and took his own life while sitting in his car. he shot himself but have not confirmed when he did. but sandy barnic said she think she heard an out of place gunshot yesterday afternoon. >> between 4:30 and 5:00. >> a random gunshot. >> what did you think when you heard that? >> it was odd because it was either a gunshot or a firecracker. >> the search for feldman began this past friday, along long meadow road in limerick township. he pulled up to the home of his girlfriend, rebecca. and amy answers, he court documents state he asked for becca and how is she doing. and he said he had something for becca and feldman pulled out a

gun and shot her in the neck and chest. he used the cell phone that he stole to call rebecca at the home telling you i want you to feel the pain i felt. >> calls came in late last night that the mazda was found in the wawa parking lot and feldman is inside dead. >> i pray for the woman involved. >> as far as we know amy herman will survive her injuries. >> all right bob thank you. police in bensalem want to find an arsonist before he ends up hurting someone. they released the video showing the man's crime and last wednesday he set a car on fire along the 2200 block of state road. it took several tries but he ultimately poured gasoline on the convertible top and lit a flair that burst into flames. he wore protective goggles and

bandana to protect his face. three men sitting outside became targets of gunman. now they are looking for two gunman they fired a dozen bullets in the courtyard of the spring garden apartments at 1:00 this morning. police arrived to find two men on the ground and a neighbor located a third victim that was in the bushes and all three were rushed to the hospital and one died after being shot in the back and the two others are said to be in stable condition. developing now the senate will not vote this week, republican leadership said that they won't bring the latest obama care repeal plan to the floor as three republican senators effectively killed the measure. >> reporter: republicans last ditch effort falling short. >> we made the decision we don't have the vote we'll postpone the vote.

from the other vehicle were both taken to torresdale hospital and neither are believed to have serious injuries. the crash in pike creek new casting county, took the life of of a 74-year-old woman early this morning. she collided with an 18 wheeled dump truck at the intersection of new england hill road causing it to overturn and lose the load of chicken seed. they are still determining who had the right of way in the intersection and looking to hear from any witnesses. a construction worker is in the hospital now after an accident while on the job in hamilton, atlantic county. the worker was installing a road sign along the a.c. expressway when the sign suddenly fell. it happens along the westbound lanes at mile marker 19. the police are handling the investigation and taken to the regional medical center and we

strong winds and storm surge flooding from hurricane maria are impacting the outer banks of north carolina. and hundreds of vacationers are under a mandatory evacuation from the barrier islands. it's prompting a tropical storm warning and the rough conditions are expected to continue into tomorrow. in puerto rico today six days after hurricane maria ravaged the island the situation remains dire as water season food remain scarce. the images of flooding and devastation are heart-wrenching

coaches and the fbi says assistant and associate coaches from arizona and auburn and southern california and oak state they say slittied and send cash bribes and that the advisers paid the coaches to match them with young players before they became nba stars and an employee for adidas is charged with secretly funneling money to families and players. and it came to light after a financial adviser cooperated with the government to go undercover and record conversations with the coaches and financial managers. at least one house is damaged and three hundred other are in danger as wild fire continues to spread no southern california. the canyon fire is burning along the 91 freeway along anaheim and corona. mandatory evacuations are underway for 1300 people and the fire has burned 2,000 acres and is 5% contained.

as we look at numbers, 86 right now coming in close to that in reading where you drop down 85 and 88 allentown and 84 in trenton and philadelphia. right along the shore thicker high cloud cover and a wind coming in off the water and temperatures there in the mid to upper 70s. as we look at september we are almost at the end of the month here and october begins on sunday. a september split the first half of the month temperatures ran 5 degrees below normal and then the pattern completely changed from september 14th to the present and temperatures running 9 degrees above normal. summer said i'm not done and took over. satellite and radar high clouds in the northwestern fringe of hurricane maria off the outer banks of north carolina where they have tropical storm warnings from duck to hatteras and cape lookout a half inch of rain overall and not looking at

police in los angeles is investigating if a woman seen being thrown into a car was kidnapped? it shows a man on the sidewalk sunday night and seconds later he is seen carrying the kicking struggling woman to his car and managed to escape once and pulled back into the vehicle by another passenger and the police found the video after being called by a neighbor after hearing the woman screaming for help. they are looking to see if it was random or if the parties involved knew each other other and looking for the woman and possible abductor. the 1-month-old baby found abandoned on the oklahoma highway is okay today. and the police are questioning his mother. this is a picture of the infant

bringing some scattered showers and wind gusts near 40 miles per hour on the outer banks of north carolina. but the one thing that will drop our heat and humidity and kick maria out to sea is this cold front west of chicago, not a lot of severe weather along it but there is a major shift in temperature east of that front compared to west of that front. mild overnight patchy fog could develop late and 65 in the suburbs and 71 for center city. unone more day of summer like air and feeling like the 90s again with the high of 88 degrees and maria will continue to drift to the east of the outer banks bringing rip currents for our shore as well. and that front says good-bye to maria as it slides through on tuesday. the humidity drops big time. winds gusting to 30 miles per hour. the air temperature it doesn't drop as quickly as the humidity still above normal at 80 degrees and we go back to the 70s by the
