determine if nations is the suspect in the killings of 14-year-old liberty german and 13-year-old abigail williams. they were killed while out for a hike in february. investigators say they will have to figure out if nations was in indiana when the teens vanished. we are learning more details about the deadly stabbing inside of a new york city school. he told police he was harassed and brought the knife for protection. is he accused of fatally stabbing matthew mckorea and it happened during history class enwe snapped. the victims were throwing broken pencils and paper at him. >> a willow grove tree trimming company is ordered to pay $95 million in connection with a scheme to employee people that are in the country illegally.

yes it's fall like and saturday we'll start with a lot of clouds, there will be some sun and clouds will take over and peeks of sun occur just because of a troth coming through and a cold front that may spark a shower in spots and mainly dry and chilly at 67 and on sunday as the front moves along the sunshine takes control little in the way of wind on sunday so sunday almost duplicate to today and just a little cooler with the high temperature of 71 degr degrees. as we look at the dew points, yesterday it was extremely muggy out there. dew points were running in the mid-70s and today we see 40s on the board. and that is supplying the crystal clear sky and also supporting the really low humidity. right now 72 allentown as well as reading, 78 in wilmington and 80 in millville. 76 in cape may and 60s in the poconos. and one thing with today with the wind blowing around taking a look at the allergy report. no tree pollen at this point in

the department of education announced its later list of blue ribbon awards today and the number of local schools were recognized. >> look at this. students at max million colby could not contain their excitement. the action cam was at the assembly, when they got the news. they celebrated the hard work with plenty of balloons and confetti. >> a similar celebration at washington square neighborhood. general george a. mccall also earned the coveted blue ribbon

about a murder vick courtesy of those that helped to shape his short life. jack custice was one of four teenagers shot in german town. and the other three survived but the math charter school student did not. custice was not the intended target an innocent victim shot in the back and they remembered the teen as a goofy funny young man well liked by students and faculty. the founder of the charter school got emotional talking about custice the first student lost to violence in the program's history. >> they are like our children. we raise them and we feed them and we love them. and we encourage them and when something happens to anybody staff member, or child we are all affected we will not forget him. >> to honor custice and his love

of basketball the schools passed around basketballs today for students to leave messages and memories, another memorial is planned near the shooting scene at 6:00 tonight. police are still searching for his killer. a prominent local doctor is arraigned on a series of sex charges. the doctor faced a judge last night charged with seven counts of ind.c. sent exposure. he is the former head of neurology at drexel medicine. they fired him after getting complaints from several patients. he is due back in court october 2nd. a south jersey doctor accused of pulling a gun on authorities pled not guilty to weapons charges. james kauffman made the plea during a formal arraignment this afternoon. authorities say he pulled a gun on police as they executed a search warrant at his office in june. the linwood physician is the

former husband and popular radio show host, april kauffman murdered in 2012. a trail date is not yet set. we turn now to mass panic on mass transit that led to septa passengers putting their lives at risk. they evacuated on to the tracks during the height of the evening rush after hearing two loud bangs and losing power. this is how amy's commute ended last evening being evacuated on to a waiting train in center city. it started after she boarded her local train and made a stop the local station and 30 and street things start to go wrong. >> i realized we stopped and then lost air conditioning and it got hot really fast. >> according to septa 5:15 p.m. wednesday an electrical breaker

tripped on paoli train 255 carrying roughly 500 passengers. the train was on 20 and street traveling south from center city. after a series of troubleshooting procedures, the breaker tripped again and eventually stopped. >> a flood of people came running down the aisle and i was in the very last car and the people were coming up from the first two and we heard rumors of fire. >> septa says there was no fire but amy added it was tough to hear the announcements the conductor seemed calm but then a fellow commuter noticed something. >> a bunch of people were on the tracks. >> they opened the windows and evacuated themselves on to the tracks and septa had to stop all trains. and they note that the breaker trips were loud and could have startled some people and it was

rush hour and septa says there are dangers to evacuating yourself the major ones the trains running nearby. >> don't leave the train until you have instructions from the crew. there is other means of egress even aside from leaving the train even if you feel are you in immediate danger in the car. and crews were called in to gather up people from the tracks and those passengers and the ones like amy who remained on board were evacuated on to other trains. >> this incident remains under investigation. ironically last night's incident happened durrail safety week the first ever national effort to educate people about safe behavior around all types of rail. and they handed out famlets during the morning rush hour. to let passengers know how

later on in the middle part of the evening we are dropping into the middle 60s and then dropping into the 40s and 50s overnight tonight. we take a look at sky 6 hd in cape may. we are watching this camera in awe of seeing the breakers still hitting right along the shore's edge there. you see a couple of folks strolling along the sand soaking in some sunshine and we have the period swells that have really kind of kicked up with the high risk for rip currents as we look at the wave heights on stormtracker 6 live double scan there are still between 6 and 7 feet offshore but because of maria all the larger swells are starting to move out to sea in the east and the national weather service in mount holly has dropped the high risk for tomorrow down to a moderate. good news for folks right along the shore that want to maybe venture in the water where the lifeguards are on duty. we'll chat about the seven-day forecast where fall is taking over for part of it but summer
