>> rain gear, hats, communications equipment. medical equipment. we are there to provide ems for the islands and all of the equipment helps us stay safe. >> the biggest challenge, it's an island so getting there is the biggest challenge. >> supplies include basic necessities and emergency vehicles. >> wires are down. it's hot. it's muggy. there is the environmental conditions tough to deal with. we are prepared for the worst. we are going to be self sustained for two weeks. we recognize that power is not something widely available throughout the island. there is a great deal of damage. we are bringing off road ambulances to ensure paramedics to those in medical need.
