6:21 pm
6:22 pm
6:23 pm
about to heat up again. the accuweather forecast with adam. >> the summer heat and the summer humidity and watching the tropics that could bring tropical rains, a lot of changes aside from this beautiful weather we are having now, we look at the action cam that was close by to center city in parts of fairmont park today. and we have the deep blue sky out there a light breeze and comfy temperatures after starting a little on the chilly side. and chilly is not a part this have forecast. as we look at sky 6 hd over the commodore barry bridge getting the glow of orange and red off the bridge here as the sun is just about to set in the next 20 to 25 minutes and have the cloudless sky and a beautiful shot as of right now, but again there are changes and the summer feeling is going to be making a come back returning tomorrow. setting up through the upcoming weekend.
6:24 pm
this coming weekend will feel like the middle of summer, not the beginning of october. we are watching the tropics which could be named as a storm here as early as tonight. that could bring us a soaking rain that is actually good news, for the beginning of next week. as we look at the numbers, 75 a popular number, allentown and reading and philadelphia. 73 degrees in wilmington and 69 in millville and cooler along the shore getting a wind kicking off the water there and you see the temperatures are down just a little bit compared to areas to the north and west. there is a front this cold front here falling apart typically a lot of times this time of year the fronts are strong and they can sink all the way down to the south bringing in fresh cool air from canada and unfortunately that is not the case this go around and if you want the feeling of summer to linger longer, mostly clear for tonight and a mild night as the humidity comes up a bit. 58 in allentown and 59 trenton
6:25 pm
and 59 in dover and a good reminder that some of these overnight lows are in the 30s and 40s for the suburbs over the weekend to the beginning of the week than is not the case tonight. high pressure is billing to the south than creates a ridge and the jet stream to the north so temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above average for the next few days and that breaks down and heads to the east and that could be the remnant moisture of of nate and we are not tracking a tropical storm or hurricane to come up the eastern seaboard and it falls apart after making landfall in the gulf coast states and the remnant rain comes our way and we could use a few inks of rain around here. here it is a cluster of storms at this point not a named storm but tropical depression 16 near costa rica over the open waters and we track it, it should become a tropical storm tonight and making landfall very close to the yucatán peninsula late in
6:26 pm
the week as a tropical storm and emerges into the gulf of mexico and become a hurricane and could land from new orleans to the panhandle of florida. and falls apart and is a remnant low by monday and if it comes through it will bring just remnant rainfall. we look at the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast 80s for the next four days, and not only is it in the 80s but the humidity comes way up and it will be pretty uncomfortable sought side especially over the weekend with 85 degrees by saturday. friday 81 and sunday humid for the eagles game. and could be a sweat fest down there, with temperatures in the 80s and rain developing on monday for columbus day of 78 and ta could continue into tuesday if the system is slower and turns sunny and less humid one week from now. >> thank you. finally tonight folks in montgomery county bravely kissed a pig tonight to raise money for
