see the outer rain band in florida pressing into inland locations for alabama and mississippi at this time. this continues to move northeast and in eye wall is brushing over mississippi as we speak. hurricane warnings for mississippi and alabama. a tropical storm warning for areas across coastal areas of louisiana. we look at the path and track with nate 35 miles per hour southwest of biloxi mississippi. this storm system accelerates sunday night and into early next week. with that, we have rain back home as well. we'll talk about what to expect sunday through monday, one to two inches of rain likely. locally, higher amounts and the heaviest amount west of the city. no creek and river flooding looking to be a concern at this time. we have more on that on the

that shot a woman at a hold up at the fredry grocery. the victim was shot in the neck and arm. she's in stable condition tonight. coming up in the next half hour we hear from two of the victim's friends that arrived in time of save her lifeful to the new jersey news, room, police say the body of 79-year-old martha hesse was discovered near the senior community where she lived. she was reported missing thursday by her husband. dozens of people scoured the area. this morning search crews found her body near york town boulevard. an autopsy will determine the cause of death. a street in philadelphia has been renamed to remember one long time public servant.

>> we continue following our big story tonight hurricane nate making landfall as a category one a few hours ago. this is a live picture from biloxi, mississippi where you see the winds kicking water on to the street. mandatory curfews are ordered in several cities in the storm's path. with that said time for a check of the forecast with meteorologist melissa magee. we see remnants of that. >> that's right, tonight and tomorrow night.

the action cam was outside earlier tonight. you can see we have partly cloudy skies earlier today. it will turn cloudy throughout the rest of the night. sky 6 live looking at the skyline. it's calm across the region and mild as well. temperatures today, 10 to 15-degrees above average. still in philadelphia we are holding at 75. 74 in allentown. same in lancaster at the coast in beach haven, 71. during the oafnlt hours, temperatures for the most part holding steady in the middle and lower 70s in philadelphia. action radar showing we are tracking changes on the way. clouds are starting to build and thicken because of a cold front out of the midwest to the great

lakes, heading our way into early sunday morning tracking tropical moisture from nate sunday night into early next week. the rest of the night, clouds, humid for the month of october. we drop to 65 in the suburbs and 70 in philadelphia for the overnight low. tropical humidity on the way. a one/two punch from mother nature. we have the moisture from what will be left over from nate working into the mid atlantic region sunday night. here's the latest with the storm, a category one hurricane, maximum sustained winds 85 miles per hour with landfall in the southeastern coast of louisiana and a second landfall likely on the coastal section of mississippi overnight 1:00 a.m.

eastern time. right now, 35 miles per hour to the southwest of biloxi, mississippi. then a fast acceleration of the storm. then a remnant low of pressure across the region. with the track, there could be heavy prescription across the area. future tracker, 7:00 tomorrow morning, showers on the way with the cold front from the east direction. overnight sunday into monday, we have moisture that moves in and picks up intensity from the remnant low of nate getting here by monday afternoon. the heaviest now looks like the precipitation is north and west of the i-95 corridor. the eagles take on the cardinals. a couple of showers could be likely for the game.
