"action news" reporter john rawlins is live in atlantic city with the details of the scheme. >> reporter: hi monica, this is apatiently a see something say something situation and authorities say they were tipped by an individual that they were willing to sell pipe bombs and a rifle and ammunition. as for what they purchased -- >> they were metal pipes and caps that were constructed and you can imagine thrown into a small room the damage it can do inside. >> the atlantic city bomb squad explain the making of five pipe

bombs. arrested danielle smith of atlantic city and 31-year-old nina house of margate. it's alleged that smith offered instructions about the explosive materials. >> it was learned that she provided instructions on how to assemble a pipe bomb and filled with nails to act as shrapnel. >> a rifle like this one and 300 rounds of ammunition. it appears they don't have a political agenda but wanted to sell them for cash. >> we don't believe there was a plan by these two individuals to either set these bombs off or use the rifle but the investigation is still on going. >> nothing let us to believe that there is any next us to terrorism but the devices and it's damage they could have caused if they got out there.
