story with the accu weather seven-day forecast. >> thank you. police arrested man they say tried to run down a sheriff's deputy on a south philadelphia street. the action cam was at the 900 block of johnson street where the suspect ditched his white grand prix and made a run. he was arrested a few moments later at broad and snyder, investigators say the driver tried to hit the sheriff's deputy at seventh and bigler. a 14-year-old run away girl was in the grand prix, they're still trying to sort out the details. but we do know the girl is ok. so is the sheriff's deputy. a man was shot while trying to do a good deed. police say he was trying to stop a woman from being robbed in kensington overnight. the shooting happened before 5:30 this morning at emerald and atlantic. they found the 47-year-old man on frankford. he was taken to temple university hospital in stable condition. >> time is 9:02. philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the city's fair hills section, we've

learned man died he was shot as he sat outside of his home on the 200 block of east westmoreland street just after 11:30 last night. police say the 50-year-old man was shot twice in the chest and face. police rushed him they don't want the where he died from the injuries. witnesses say the man may have been shot ones in a while jape enjoying a night out on the front stoop >> when we check the area of the porch of a resident, we found one shrug imbedded in the wall behind a chair, a wicker chair, that the victim was sitting in. >> we know that right now, police are looking to weather the shooting was a result of an argument at a nearby bar. this morning, the search continues for what happened inside a philadelphia recording studio >> man a found murdered yesterday morning in northern liberties with so far police tell us they have no clues

tomorrow on. actually all week long, high pressure dominates the overall weather pattern and it just looks really nice, not much to talk about other than fact we will be warming up. high temperatures by next saturday could also make a run at 80. 67 right now in philadelphia with a due point of 65. winds out of the south southwest at nine miles per hour and visibility down to five miles at the airport, but a lot better than where we were about two hours ago when this number was down close to a mile. reading one mile, trenton two miles, allentown two, lots of nine and ten showing up down here to the south where the wind is already starting to pick up we're mixing that dry air off down to the surface and that's why the fog is burning off down here, eventually all of these numbers will start coming up from south and north and you'll be able to start to see much farther than what you're seeing right now. 64 in allentown, philadelphia 67, wilmington, 67. millville closing in on 70. trenton 66 and atlantic city 67.

satellite 6 along with abduction action radar, the only thing we're watching all week long the only system we're watching all the way out here, across the great lakes, states the ohio valley, that's the approaching cold front. the weather is significantly cooler. the pattern is so progressive meaning everything is moving so quickly from west to east across the country, that that cool shot only lasts a couple days and the numbers start warming up by wednesday, future 6, skies will start brightening up around lunch and by afternoon, it's a combination sun and clouds clouding up to 80. overnight. clouds increase again but with the frontal system that's pushing through. could be a couple of showers, even though this model doesn't show too much. it could be a couple showers associated with that right around the midnight hour, that pulls through, a leftover shower early tomorrow morning, let's say before 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. by tomorrow afternoon, it's sunshine again but winds out of the northwest, it's a cooler breeze and high temperatures only in the 60's.

travel headaches work along one of the business easiest sections of roadway in our area is causing rush hour type backup >> enjoy little summer reprieve in mid october but the question how long will this mild weather last? chris sowers joins us with a look at the forecast, chris, i didn't see any son >> you got to stay patient, gray, good things come to those who wait. >> i'll wait >> let's take a look at the forecast, still looking at a lot of cloud cover this morning, some patchy fog mainly north of the pennsylvania turnpike. but later this afternoon, as our winds begin to shift out of the southwest and that's key to this whole thing because it's a drier wind flow for us, we start mixing that dry air down to the surface. that cloud deck breaks apart and all of a sudden the sun pops out and by afternoon we're expecting high temperatures underneath the mostly sunny sky to top out around y philadelphia, wilmington, 80, 81 for millville, 76 in allentown, reading, 77, lancaster 78 degrees.

and even the jersey shore somewhere between 78 and 81, and those numbers the way they stack compared to the normal, that 80 degrees look at how much higher that is, normally we should be at 67. the low temperature this morning was close to the normal high for this time of year, 65 was where we started this morning, 80 is where we'll finish up this afternoon, and with that said, the winds will start picking up later on as well. 5:00 this afternoon we could see gusts as high as 20 to 25 miles per hour, there's an outside shot that one or two areas could see winds gusting to 30 miles per hour, that continues to the evening hours and monday morning, winds shift out of the northwest still gusting to 20 or 25 but this time it's a cool wind flow and that knocks the temperature down by tomorrow. >> thank you. time in 9:31, massive wildfires continue to burn out of control and number of dead continues to rise there. >> this is firefighters are now battling increasing winds, they're fanning the flames,

reports of a shooting, they found a man had been shot twice in the back. he was rushed to einstein hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. so far, police have no motives or suspects in this shooting. crime scene tape blocking off a road in burlington county. where police say two people were shot this weekend. this happened on unit block bermuda circle in willingboro. at 7:30 last night. police have not released the condition on the victims so far. also no word about arrests or a motive. a grandmother from delaware after a light rail train hit her car in maryland a police say 63-year-old denise tried to make a left turn across the tracks when the crash happened friday. officials say the words do not enter and no left turn sides signs posted. she was taken to a local hospital where she died. her 12-year-old grandson was also in the car taken to a hospital with minor injuries. 19-year-old jonathan snyder has been arrested for allegedly
