association fall meeting expected to talk about project safe neighborhoods and violent crime. city has been battling with sessions since i singled out nine sanctuary cities including philadelphia for not complying with the justice department immigration policy. firefighters were called to the 4400 block of verona drive in mill creek around 3:30 a.m. they found flames shooting from the first floor of the home. firefighters pulled a 91-year-old and his dog from the second floor window. the cause of the fire remains under investigation. philadelphia police are looking for the person who shot a teenager in the neck and then left him to die. the shots were fired in the 7700 block of cedar brook avenue in the city's west oak lane section. it happened last night. when police arrived they found the teenager suffering from

gunshot injuries. he was rushed to einstein medical center listed in critical condition. a section of i-95 back open this morning after a fatal motorcycle crash in south philadelphia. this happened last night in the southbound lanes near the exit ramp for the walt whitman bridge just after 11:00 p.m. we are told that the 26-year-old victim was riding at a high rate of speed when he lost control and hit a guardrail. police shut down the highway to one lane as they investigated. the scene cleared up at 9:00 a.m. we're learning more information about the ambush that killed four american soldiers in there have been conflicting reports from the military. david wright has the late e -- latest. >> reporter: president trump has been tight lipped about the traumatic mission that cost the

on tuesday, a 14-year-old boy was hit three times in elkins park by bbs. next day a 19-year-old was hit in the boy a block from the high school in wyncote. the shooters were driving a dark car and wearing masks. this morning a driver crashed into several cars in north philadelphia. she eventually flipped her own car. the women is facing dui charges. this was the scene on the 900 block of brown street. the police say the driver lost control and hit two parked cars and eventually her car overturned. excite what you see here, no injuries were reported. students at a chester county school show her united after a recent racist incident. hundreds ever students who attend coatsville area high school walked out of classes yesterday. they want administrators to do more about what they say is a pattern of racial insensitivity. this week a picture was posted
