valley's leading news program, with meteorologist melissa magee, jeff skversky, and walter perez. ♪ ♪ >> tragedy inside a home in philadelphia when a six-year-old boy picked up a gun and shoots his three-year-old brother in the head. the boy remains in critical condition while police try to determine why his brother was able to gain access to the firearm in the first place. >> i'm walter perez. the big story the looking into that shooting. the toddler remains in critical condition. trish? >> that's right, walter, the three-year-old boy was rushed here after police say he was shot in the head by his older brother. investigators spent much of the evening at the child's home

>> check out this video, smoke from a fire that engulfed a town this morning in west virginia. it broke out in a tool plant. the smoke was so thick people nearby were asked to stay inside nine hours after it was out. it was a heart wrenching day for the family of david johnson. he was one of four green berets killed in an ambush in niger two weeks ago. today there were well wishers lining the streets with flags flying high. we have more about his life and community support for his loved one laters on "action news."
