rick and monica. right now the wind is kicking up. maybe that will help our eagles soar. already tailgating is in full effect. take a look at this video. this is one group that we caught up with, starting early today. eagles has won four games in a row. there has been some controversy nfl. the away team the washington wrecked will be greeted by this group indigenous 215 protesting the washington redskins mascot, also there's at least one protest planned supporting the take a knee movement during the anthem calling on a boycott of today's game. but here amongst many tailgaters, they are focused on the game. not any controversy. take a listen. >> we say a little prayer to the football god's, hoping doug bless us with another win and we party it up out here. that's what we do.

there's cooler air and there's also quite a bit of rain. double scan live showing a powerful system that's rolling out of the ohio valley. what will happen, low pressure will move up to our north and it will drag a cold front through and there are waves of rain, heavy at times even with the potential for some severe thunderstorms as we head through the day tomorrow. tonight, though, for the eagles game, lots of clouds, it will be on the breezy side but very mild. you really do not have to dress in a lot of layers. i'm wearing short sleeves. i'm fine right now. first quarter 71 degrees. by the fourth quarter not really dropping much, 69 degrees. could have a sprinkle or two but that heavy rain moves in tomorrow. i'll have details on that and also talk about a dramatic cooldown behind that system coming up in the full accuweather forecast. monica. >> sounds good. thank you so much, cecily. well, local and federal agents raided two urgent care facilities today, one doctor appears to be at the center of this major investigation.

the dea and fbi converged other facilities this morning, one in northeast philadelphia on roosevelt boulevard. the other on the eastern road in willow grove. both are owned by dr. mehdi nikparvar and according to business records he's now in federal custody. officials did not give reason for the raids but neighbors told "action news" they have seen plenty of unusual activity. >> i've just seen lines of people in the morning waiting for the office to open. my concern was that they were selling drugs out of the facility. because typically you don't see a doctor's office have lines of people before they're opening. >> both facilities operate under the name advanced urgent care. some locations of the franchise were raided in 2015 because they were suspected of illegally selling prescriptions. >> officials trying to figure out what sparked a house fire in north philadelphia. the action cam was on the scene near north sixth street and west cambria street. officials say the blaze broke out just after 2:00 a.m. took firefighters about 30 minutes or so to get the

flames under control. fortunately no one was hurt. officials in bucks county are looking to speak with anyone in these photos after a port a potty was vandalized. happened back in june in pendel bucks county. police say they were alerted to a potential fire and upon further investigation it was determined a fire work was set off inside of the portable toilet. no reports of any injuries. anyone with information is asked to call pendel police. >> attorney general jeff sessions was in philadelphia today speaking to police leaders from across the country. sessions designated the street gang known as ms-13 a federal priority and urged local law enforcement to step up efforts against the brutal central american gang. he made the remarks in front of the international association of chiefs of police annual conference. ivanka trump spent the afternoon in bucks county to push the president's tax reform plan. the same plan that the president himself pitched in pennsylvania earlier this month. hi, walter. >> reporter: hey, monica, the first daughter said today that tax reform is long overdue in the u.s. as many economists are expressing concern that the president's plan may do more harm than good. after the senate narrowly passed the gop budget proposal last week, the president's daughter and presidential adviser ivanka trump along with u.s. treasurer carranza showed up in richboro bucks county today to drum up support for the plan now being considered by the house. a plan that ivanka refers to as a jobs bill. >> there's many elements of this tax plan that i think are squarely targeted at creating jobs in this country, creating growth in this country and offering relief to our middle income families. >> reporter: the proposal among other things would slash income and corporate tax rates with the expectation of stimulating the economy and broadening the tax base with the creation of new jobs and

businesses. but economists project that the plan would also add $7 trillion of debt over the next 10 years and that, they say, would slow growth in the long run. there were many small business owners on hand for today's event many of whom say they'll accept any tax break they can get. >> we're struggling to provide benefits for our employees. we're trying to pay down our debts and when you do have a little bit of profit, instead of being able to pay the debt down you end up paying it in taxes. >> reporter: meanwhile a few dozen protesters gathered outside saying this was not what they wanted to hear from the first daughter. >> i thought ivanka would be a moderating influence on this presidency but things are just getting worse. this tax proposal will hurt the poor people and the middle class its a give away to the rich. >> reporter: during a public q and a the treasurer was asked if she thinks the budget bill will pass the house. she answered simply. >> we're here to make sure it does. tonight the house of representatives is expected to vote in favor of the senate budget resolution sometime later on this week. reporting live from richboro, walter perez, channel6 "action news." rick. >> all right, walter, thank you. in other news federal officials say they have foiled an alleged terror plot that targeted a mall in miami and the bust was all thanks to an undercover operation. abc's maggie rulli has been following the story. this suspect planned to use a weapon of mass destruction in the food court intentionally targeting as many shoppers as possible. those intentions were thwarted by those undercover agents. an alleged bomber in federal court today for the first time. the miami area man caught in an undercover sting operation first reported in the miami her rallied. 53-year-old vincent solano was accused of plan to blow up a huge shopping center with what

authorities are calling a weapon of mass destruction. the target dolphin marring. police say solano appears to have been inspired by isis and was trying to impress the terror group. abc's senior justice correspondent pierre thomas says the problem is bigger than solano. >> the suspect is more than 130 americans charged in recent years with either trying to join isis or plotting attacks here at home. >> reporter: the fbi is actively battling isis radicalization on u.s. soil and has used a similar sting strout gee in southern florida before. police say solano began talking with someone he believed was a like minded radical online eventually getting his hands on what he thought was an active bomb but really that bomb, a fake planted by undercover agents and the radical online an informant who contacted the joint terrorism task force reporting his planned attack. solano is currently being held without bond and is expected back in court on thursday.

died. salmonella is one of the most common food borne illnesses. most people get better after several days but it can be life-threatening for young children the elderly, pregnant women and feeble with weak immune systems. the same germ control practices they use inside hospitals should also be done at the doctor's office. that's the message from the academy of pediatrics. the new guidelines say there should be hand sanitizer in waiting rooms and masks for sick kids to wear as they wait. it also recommends keeping infants and small toddlers in strollers until they're in the exam room and avoid those communal toys in the waiting room. and it's the time of year for ghost stories, haunted houses and scary costumes. for many people including myself it's their favorite season. they actually enjoy being scared at halloween. and scientists say that can be helpful in handling fear, a very complicated emotion.

that will be bringing us a pretty good soaking t much needed soaking. so, satellite and radar showing ahead of this front the clouds are thickening and here's the moisture we're tracking. it has been spawning some severe weather across the carolinas, even some tornado warnings. that whole system will be moving our way overnight. so, tonight cloudy and breezy. that rain arriving by dawn. ahead of it really nothing more than a sprinkle or two. 64 the low, 66 for center city. a very warm night. our overnight low is going to be warmer than our average high for this time of the year. future tracker showing 8:30 when the game starts, lots of clouds but again, no organized precipitation. 11:30, people heading home, maybe a few sprinkles across the poconos. tomorrow morning, though, this is when everything changes. right in time for the morning commute. at 7:30 most of the activity will be around philadelphia, areas north and west. then as we head into the afternoon, get a little lull in the action by 12:30.

talking about the phone call she got from president trump in the wake of her husband's death. what she says the commander-in-chief told her. and if you buy groceries at wal-mart, whole foods or trader joe's pay attention. something you have in your fridge right now may need to go in the garbage. >> now the details. five separate shootings and eight people rushed to the hospital. what's behind the violence in chester delaware county. that's what authorities are trying to figure out as they continue to search for those responsible for a weekend of violence there. "action news" reporter vernon odom is live in chestertown night with more. vernon. >> reporter: good evening, rick. chester police tell me they had been experiencing a cooldown in all the gun violence for which the town is all too well known but it came back this weekend with a vengeance. this basketball court in chester's bennett housing complex is where the most blood was shed in this town of 40,000 that saw five separate shooting incidents over the weekend with a total of eight

victims. all of whom are expected to survive. this case featured two gunmen at the top of this hill raining down bullets on as many as 40 people using a .40 caliber handgun and a 7.62-millimeter rifle. police believe all the shootings were related. >> there were a number of events that happened over the weekend that we believe stemmed from a few incidents that happened after homecoming. >> we've had a break but unfortunately all it takes is one individual to make his mind up he wants to do something stupid. >> reporter: the shootings this weekend occurred all over the city of chester where up to eight different neighborhood gangs are known to operate from the eighth street gang in the heart of town to sun village on the east side. all of the shootings this weekend are believed to stem from high school homecoming after parties from last weekend. triggering the tit for tat retaliations of this weekend just past. >> different groups, different factions. unfortunately chester is only a five square mile city and there's these small neighborhoods that become entities unto themselves and

officials remain at the business throughout the day gathering clues. a box truck that rammed into a utility pole cut power to several hundred residents in haverford township this morning. you could still see flames on the lines at the scene. this is the 900 block of west chester pike. peco was called out to fix the problem and bring the power back online but the eastbound lanes of west chester pike were closed for several hours to clear the scene. a three-year-old boy is still in grave condition tonight after being shot by his six-year-old brother over the weekend. this afternoon philadelphia police released this mug shot of the toddler's father sir haven williams. williams has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment. investigators say his six-year-old son found the gun belonging to his uncle and accidentally shot his brother in the forehead. it happened inside the family's north philadelphia home on saturday. the children were being watched by their 12-year-old brother at the time. >> a driver remains in the hospital after crashing into a

concrete wall in north philadelphia early this morning. "action news" was there as firefighters had to pull the man from this car. it happened near the intersection of west venango and north warnock street. authorities say the driver lost control, hit several parked cars and then hit the wall. he was rushed to temple university hospital for treatment. from our new jersey news room now investigators are looking for a female robber who'll targeted a camden county bank. pennsauken township police released these surveillance photos of a woman they say is still on the run. it was friday night when she passed a note to a teller at the bb&t bank in the 7300 block of maple avenue. the worker handed over cash. the suspect was last seen getting into the passenger side of a dark green four-door vehicle. the gold star widow of sergeant la david johnson is now talking about that phone call she got from president trump in the days following her husband's death in niger. she says mr. trump's condolences left her crying "even worse." president trump responded to

mrs. johnson on twitter today. abc's lana zak live in washington, d.c. tonight with the details. lana. >> reporter: good evening, to you, monica. myesha johnson says she'll continue to press for answers about her husband's death and she says that her children including the third to be born in january will know that their father died a hero in service to this country. sergeant la david johnson's casket had just arrived at the airport when his widow myesha received a call from president trump. >> i was very angry at the tone in his voice and how he said he -- he couldn't remember my husband name and that what hurt me the most because if my husband is out here fighting for our country, and he risk his life for our country, why can't you remember his name? >> reporter: in an exclusive interview with "good morning america" the gold star widow validated congresswoman frederica wilson's account of the call saying the president made her cry even more. >> what she said was a hundred percent correct.

has been blocking the 95 off-ramp to broad street. they do this sometimes in advance of the games to control the crowd getting into the linc, getting into south philadelphia. at this point the ramp is opened but he's out here and he could block it again at any moment. so, i think if you're headed to the game and you can use the schuylkill, to broad street that's going to be a better bet than trying to use 95 because it's also jammed on up to the walt whitman bridge where we had an earlier broken down truck on the span of the bridge heading into new jersey and before that we had the crash on 42 southbound by 130 in gloucester city. both of those issues are now gone but the backlogs, of course, definitely remain. over on the schuylkill expressway as you head home from the birds game tonight there's no westbound construction scheduled in university city but they're scheduled to close the eastbound lanes at the vine starting at 11:00 tonight. you'll have to exit and reenter, that's what they've been doing the last few weeks on the westbound side. this week it's the eastbound side. so, at that point overnight it's going to be the vine worry he overto 95.

agents raided two advanced urgent care clinics, one in willow grove, the other in northeast philadelphia. this company had been raided once before in 2015 for allegedly selling illegal prescriptions.
