was more ready to take the fight to them. >> during a search of his home, they found two semi automatic rifles, one with several magazines taped together and along with felony hate crime he is charged with terroristic threats. and three people are hospitalized with serious injuries from a crash in salem county. chopper 6 hd was overhead in response to the head-on collision. two vehicles collided along the 200 block of telegraph road. one person was ejected from the vehicle and others trapped inside. no word as month what caused the crash. >> three suspects are in custody as a result of the assault of a pizza driver. three of the suspects are teenagers, ages 13 and 16, and turned into police by their own family members. surveillance video shows five suspects hanging out at the

lukoil gas station. surveillance shows them hanging out and a few minutes later a 65-year-old man shows up to deliver pizza and before he could leave one suspect points a gun at him and then hits him and knocks him unconscious and then they jump in the car and the attack attacker -- they have a 13-year-old gunman in custody along with a 16-year-old driver. >> surprising. you know i can't believe it. you know children doing that to adults. >> so authorities are still working to identify one of those five suspects today. if you have any information you are asked to contact authorities. >> the video is disturbing and encouraging to hear family members turned them in.

the fbi is searching for a n wanted for two bank robberies, first philadelphia credit union branch in south philadelphia yesterday according to police. investigators first asked about opening a bank account and when the teller asked him identification he left and a half hour later he came back and handed the teller a threatening note. authorities also suspect him of robbing a bank in. the bill passed the legislature this morning with bipartisan support. if governor wolf signs it it would expand casino style gambling to truck stops and online portales and airports and ten new mini casino sites. sara bloomquist will have a whole lot more on this in a report on "action news" at 5:00. the first sign of fall.

at the white house he said it was ripping the nation apart and staring no part of the united states. it doesn't add money to the fight but the president says it will allowino better fight the epidemic and expands services to rural and president trump shared his personal steerance with addiction. his older brother fred died after a struggle with alcoholism. the reason the president doesn't drink. >> i had someone that guided me and he had a very, very tough life because of alcohol. tough tough life. he was a strong guy, but it was a tough tough thing that he was going through. learned because of learned. nd to that end the president is calling for a massive advertising campaign geared towards young people. in the crowd today parents who have lost children to overdoses and people that struggled with addiction and first responders

that used overdose reversal drugs to help save lives, this declaration lasts for 90 days, but can be renewed. and critics like nancy pelosi calls it words without the money. and the stage is set for lawmaker to work on the tax plan. the house approved the budget this morning that clears the way for tax overhauls. it barely passed 216-212 vote. it allows republicans to write a followup bill focused on tax cuss moving it through congress without blocks from democrats. it will be president trump's first major win in congress if it passes. ashley judd is talking about her accusations against movie mogul harvey winestein. she sat down with diane sawyer to relive the encounter and judd

students in delaware got a life lesson today in fake taking hold of their futures. dr. len made a visit to penn high school. students from the wallen school were also invited to listen in. berman has a degree from temple and played three seasons for the philadelphia eagles in the late 1970s and hopes his story will cause students to aim high and seek success. 150 affordable homes and counting. the milestone for chester county just achieved the ground breaking on community lane in coatville. representatives were also on hand to donate this $160,000 check. that will be used to build two more homes in that community. after six years of service chance the arson dog is retiring

specifically chinese takeout owners and up in arms, for alleged mistreatment of philadelphia and allegedly they say motivated by racism. they marched on city hall demanding an end to what is bugging them. the large riot outside of city hall hundreds calling to an end of what they call discrimination of chinese restaurants around town. they want repeal or major changes known to the law as the 11:00 p.m. ordinance, forest rans serving food to close by 11:00. they are enforcing that law chinese restaurants. >> 95% were given to chinese restaurants, that chinese population is 1% of this city and 96% is a huge number. >> there are issues to resolve but however it is my

into city council today and would not say if he has the votes now in the 17 member body to pass it. i'm vernon odom, channel 6 "action news" in west philadelphia. a woman is fighting for her life today following a house fire in philadelphia following the fire in the holmesburg section at meridian street. firefighters knocked down the flames, they rushed her to the area torresdale hospital. listed in critical condition. >> a pastor in south jersey is choosing to sleep outside tonight. all to raise awareness on a serious topic. pastor delaney of st. pauls church in west depford is planning to spend the night in a card board box all to raise awareness of homelessness. the owner of the diner heard about the efforts and donating a portion of the proceeds from

a deputy in florida will spend two years lindh bars for intensely crashing his cruiser into his ex-wife's home. officers have released this video from the incident last year showing deputy timothy taylor driving through the front of the house near pensacola. taylor plead guilty to a ligs of crimes admitting to being under the influence of prescription drugs at the time. and 69 years old an iowa man finally has the family he always dreamed of. >> it's heaven. i like this farm. >> homer williams jr. has intellectual disabilities and passed from home to home his entire life until now. a faith based organization that

it is time for a check of the roads right now. >> matt pellman is here with the update. >> our images are becoming less and less cute as the evening gets underway. meaning more and more congested on the schuylkill expressway by 676 the vine street expressway backed up in both directions, amtrak over there. the westbound travel time is worse. 42 minutes that is heavy this afternoon. should be 14 minutes at this point just volume and don't forget later on it's construction that blocks the eastbound lanes at the vine, you'll be forced off on to 30th street or the vine street expressway start agent 11:00 tonight they are doing that most of the nights this week. a little bit of better news outside of our front door, we got rid of the disabled front and fixed the traffic lights at least for now. the lights are working again. we are lights stuck on red in south philadelphia. front street ramp stuck on red
