laptop was stolen and if you have information contact investigators, reporting live trish hartman, channel 6 "action news." >> the dean a west philadelphia elementary school has been charged with a statutory rape an eighth grade student. 42-year-old omar harrison was a dean of students at the master charter school at the time of the alleged assault. the victim told police that harrison gave her a ride in tinicum township. school officials say that they first learned about the allegations on friday. and harrison has since been fired. just a short time ago the school released a statement. saying in part inappropriate contact with students is inexcusable. the students safety is the first priority. harrison is held on $100,000 bail. the woman is fighting foreher

life after being rescued from the house fire in the holmesburg section of philadelphia held at the meridian this morning. once the firefighters knocked down the flames they found the woman inside and she was taken to torresdale in critical condition. no word on what sparked the blaze. three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in salem county. two vehicles collided head-on and along the 200 block of telegraph road just before noon. one person was ejected from the vehicle and two others were trapped. and no word what caused the crash. >> the republican controlled pennsylvania legislature is doubling down on the expanse of gambling to help fill a huge hole in the state budget. whether the state expanded gambling and borrow a huge amount of money depends on governor wolf.

here is nora muchanic. >> reporter: you may have heard of therapy dogs or even therapy horses but rosebud a therapy chicken is a whole different breed. she was visiting the tops adult program in cherry hill where she is always a hit. >> she is very none threatening and most people really just enjoy the whole feel of her and the strokes of her, it calms them. >> my friend. you are so cute. >> 22-year-old stephan sings to rosebud. >> she is very soft and cuddly, and a good friend. >> i like her calm demeanor and the way her feathers feel smooth. rosebuds owner is a retired nurse mid wife who loves chick and and trained to be a chicken handler.
