storm tracker 6 is live and an accu weather alert. several inches of rain, possible flooding and strong winds dale and tomorrow. today marks five year since super storm sandy delivered a devastating blow to the jersey coast line. the eagles take on the 49ers and the rain at the linc this afternoon. first to breaking news, big traffic trouble in delaware. a fiery tractor-trailer accident shutdown i 295 northbound north of route 141. the rig slammed into a concrete

barrier and fuel sparked the huge five destroying the truck and littering the highway with debris. amazingly the driver escaped and will survive although he does have serious injuries, live right now, crews on scene trying to clear away the wreckage likely for the next couple of hours. let's get to the alert, 7:00 a.m. gray is off, jeaneatte reyes joins us, meteorologist chris sowers is outside. a lot of rain strong winds >> the written is knocking on the door raining heavily in baltimore and dc, national weather service issued a flash flood watch. the area that is you see highlighted in green and in particular, the it's the smaller creeks and streams we're most concerned about, low lying areas and areas of poor drainage, rainfall totals will range anywhere from one to three inches when all is said and done, with isolate heavier amounts possible to four inch, a

real good soaking is on the way. here is storm tracker 6. we've set it in motion. and the rain will come in bands today, it's not going to be raining steadily heavily every hour of the day but at times it will come down at a pretty good clip. first band will swing through probably between the hours of 9:00 and 1:00 followed by yet another band which arrives around the fourth quarter of the eagles game and that will continue through the late afternoon and early evening hours. here's a close-up shot on storm tracker 6. delaware lighter rains over consent and sussex counties, edgewood, baltimore dc is where the rain is really coming down, and lighter stuff across cumberland and cape may counties. forecast for the eagles, 1:00 start time against the 49ers at the linc. winds picking up out of the southeast at ten to 20 miles per hour on a positive, it is a mild day, 68 by the first quarter.

and fourth quarter temperature right around 66. more specifically, here with the timeline at this coastal storm developing two bands we're worried about first comes in let's say between hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00, and on and off showers, by fourth quarter that's when i expect the second ban to march through and that's when we'll see the soaking rains redevelop. then we get overnight and through the day tomorrow, the winds start to how old as the storm begins to intensify. we could see gusts as high as 50 or 55 miles per hour tomorrow morning, i'll be back in a few minutes, more details with the accu weather seven-day forecast. guys >> thank you. we're following a developing story this morning, two teenagers stabbed in the olney section of philadelphia, it happened in the 5600 block of park avenue about 12:30 in the morning, police found evidence of the stabbings there and that the wounded has been taken to einstein medical center at a private car. one victim, 16-year-old male is

in critical condition, the other an 18-year-old is in stable condition. on soggy sunday we remember another storm, unforgettable super storm sandy. its catastrophic force killed 147 people from the caribbean to the jersey shore. pennsylvania and new york. all of this damage left behind. parts of towns almost wiped away. some still rebuilding. the garden state alone got socked by almost $40 billion worth of damage. millions lost power. travel on roads rails and air in the most congested areas cut down for days, nash guard troops were deployed caught in the chaos >> many continue to deal with major stress and aggravations. they talked about the point of view from a person scarred by sandy. >> it's like i feel like people don't understand how hard it is

couple of scattered showers across south jersey getting into southern atlantic county and northern cape may county. all of this will increase in in the only coverage but intensity as well. the wider view shows lots of heavy rain, to the east of richmond across the delmarva, this heavy band of rain gets in here between, let's say the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. then we catch somewhat of a break across the outer banks of north carolina. look how mild it is, 24-hour temperature change, most locations anywhere from 15 to 20 warmer than we were the same time yesterday. that translates to 63 in philadelphia, 63 in wilmington, millville already sitting at 65. atlantic city 64, trenton 60. dover 64. cape may 64 degrees, and just in case you were wondering the normal high usually occurs

around 3:30, 4:00. is 63. coastal storm developing rides right up the eastern seaboard. we see the heavy rains first. as the storm pulls north we get into the backlash and storm and winds begin to pick up where we see gusts closer to 50, 55 miles per hour. the eagles game, some of it could be heavy, especially during the second half. by 4:00, you still see lots of rain and yellows indicating drenching downpours, through the evening hours we start to really get in. by 8:00 it's off the coast of new jersey when we're throwing back copious amounts of moisture off ocean, reading, philadelphia, wilmington seeing drenching downpours by 8:00. then gradually wind down from south to north by about 10:00, 11:00. as the storm lifts north up into new england. we get into rap around rains first thing monday morning,

's i was just taking a look at this, something called the european weeklies came out, and what they do break down week after week over a six-week stand and what it showed during the month of november, jet stream will look something like this, where all the cold weather will be and it will be icy cold out here across the high plains. for us along the eastern sea board, we have the southeastern ridge flecking its muscles and that's a south south westerly wind for us, while they're cold out there. it is nice and mild here along the midatlantic. now, we'll see intrusions of cold that last a couple day here or there, generally speaking, over the next four weeks, the month of november looks mild once again relative to average.

hospital, around 2:15 at 12th and bower streets. according to police, the vehicle including one pulling a u-haul trailer crashed head-on. they had to be freed by firefighter, all six went to christiana for treatment. three people are hospitalized after an early morning crash in gloucester township new jersey, state police say a car went out of control and flipped over. the people inside went to cooper medical center with serious injuries, to word on what triggered this accident. a line of mourners stretching dun the block to support family of a teen who was shot to death. they shed tears and paid final respects. bob brooks was there for the service. >> reporter: a 16-year-old salvatore dinubile was laid to rest. the line for the service wrapped around the corner. the crowd of support for his family filled out into the

high temperatures in the 70's. lots of sunshine. comfortable breeze, beautiful day today. coastal storm develops, the wind picks up later through the opening the hour, heavy rain moves in here later this afternoon as well. the flash flood watch isn't effect for all areas highlighted in green, the smaller creeks and streams, watch those closely overtime next few hours, they will fill up quickly and there could be flooding, and on roadways, especially low lying roadways as we start to see the first slug of moisture pull through now, this will come through 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. that will pull through later this afternoon, lots of heavy rain down there in southern delaware. here's sussex county, dover reported moderate right now. everything that you see in yellow, orange and red where the rain is really coming down, milford. and middletown smyrna reporting heavy rain, lifting to the north

quickly about 20 to 25 miles per hour, it's also lifting in the mild air, temperatures 63 in philadelphia. certain handle that. 65 in millville. 64 in cape may. dover 64. reading 62. poconos 54. cooler stuff is just off the screen. it's out to the west. pittsburgh is only 37 degrees. that's some of the cooler air that will slide in here overnight tonight monday and tuesday. wind speeds starting to pick up out of the east southeast five to 15 miles per hour, these gusts will roar come tomorrow where we could see gusts as high as 55 miles per hour. so future tracker 6 by 1:00, we see rain across the area, some of it coming down heavy, others a little bit lighter. we're seeing the lighter shades of green like rain and start picking up the yellows and oranges moderate to heavy rain, that will can't on and off throughout the afternoon then we get into the second slug of moisture which pulls in during the opening the hours, look at the oranges and reds where rain really comes down at a good clip

perhaps half inch to three quarters of an inch per hour, that will lift north as the storm pulls up into new england, poconos, lehigh valley could see anywhere two to four inches and european says philadelphia might see four inches, the american models little bit light, one to two, and the r pm, 2.2 starting this morning to monday, winds speeds becoming gusty last this afternoon but overnight as the storm punches north up into new england gets going, the rap around wind on the back side out of the west northwest starts to pick up 60 mines gusts, this particular model showing by 9:00 a.m. those winds continue at least 40 to 50 before finally relaxing, even then we're talking about a design breeze not as windy as what we'll see over the next
