from accu weather >> we've been tracking the rain on and off throughout the day. rain starting to fill in once again along 95 corridor and points to the north and west. we had a lull earlier but that moisture is starting to come in from the south to north direct, heavy rain right now across close to sections of new jersey. we're going tighter on street level with storm tracker 6. you can see pockets of rain into medford lakes, same thing in hammonton. atlantic city expressway dealing with pockets of moisture, and delaware between wilmington and smyrna in a we got the pockets of heavy rain. storm tracker 6 live double scan radar 3d showing rain coming in the south to north direct, starting to move in across much of the delaware and lehigh valleys and heavy rain as well across the areas in new england. as far as the rain we've seen so far in newark, a little more than an inch of a quarter.

1.22 inch, harvey cedars. more is likely. the flash flood watch stays until midnight on the i95 corridor areas south and east and lehigh valley and north hampton and mercy counties. we're tracking the rain heavy at the coast but starting to intensity along the i95 corridor and points to the north and west. poor drainage flooding is a bing and strong winds gusting anywhere from 40 to 50 miles per hour. we'll take a closer look in the exclusive accu-weather forecast. wet weather brought down a tree in delaware county. this was the scene in brook haven. intersection was shutdown because a tree brought down power lines with it. a parked car got scratched up but no injuries have been reported. no word at this hour when the roadway will reopen.

this was the scene in new castle. a creek partially overflowed a second of airport road. commuters were warned to avoid the area. stay on top of the soggy conditions at 6abc.com/weather. along with live storm tracker 6 radar. now to breaking news one person is been shot outside the king of prussia mall in montgomery county. police tell us victim was shot multiple times in the parking lot on the north side of the mall. upper merion police have been on the scene investigating since about 4:00, we're told the mall is still open. we have a crew on the way to the scene. we'll keep you updated as we confirm more details. . five years ago today, super storm sandy slammed the jersey shore causing $29 billion in damage. chris christie said more than 5500 damaged homes have been

tractor-trailer lost control somehow and slammed it into the jersey barrier. why that happened is still under investigation. if news is the driver was incredibly uninjured and managed to escape from the cab of a truck before it went up in flames. according to police, he was hauling some type of machinery when emergency crews rushed in they were confronted with the 18 wheeler fully engulfed while having to control traffic. work began to clean up the mess and fix a bad's damaged barrier. despite how bad the accident was the highway is reopen and for the truck driver, he's ok, he was able to escape. reporting in newport, bob brooks. three people seriously injured in camden county. the driver lost control which flipped over on 42 southbound in exit 10. first responders arrived on the scene after 3:15 and all three people inside the vehicle were taken to cooper university

hospital. no word quite yet on what caused the crash. six people were hospitalized after this hor risk crash in wilmington delaware. police say two vehicles crashed head on at the intersection of 12th and bowers around 2:15 this morning. action news he was has learned one was carrying a u-haul trailer. both drivers were trapped inside and had to be rescued by firefighters. the extent of their injuries and what caused the crash is not yet known. the search son for three men who broke into as now west philadelphia and stole several thousand dollars worth of cash and cell phones. the men article with handguns forced their way into the home in the 5100 block of haverford around 3:30 this morning, at this point, you said unclear who was inside of the house at the time. no injuries were reported. officials say the suspects were able to run away. anyone with information is asked to contact police. jeff skversky is here to tell us about the eagles playing the 49ers. this was essentially over a

you 7:00 p.m. lots of rain here in philadelphia. temperature at 64, holding the lower 60's as we go throughout the rest of tonight. it will be cloudy and rainy and 10:00 and 11:00 the wind will start to pick up on the back side of this as it presses up into new england. satellite 6 along with action radar we had a bit of a lull but the rain starting to fill back in for the i95 corridor and points to the north and west. we're tracking that rain from the south that will continue to work its way north ward as we go throughout the the rest of the evening hours. something else to keep in mind, in addition to the flash flood watch posted for a good portion of the viewing area, we got a flood warning for portions of atlantic, burlington county and also ocean county so the flood warning stays until midnight. green shaded counties could pick up additional one to two inches. flooding is a big concern across coastal communities the call from accu weather,

we drop down to 49 in philadelphia, cooler tonight be 44 in lancaster. 50 in trenton's strong wind will pick up the back side. future tracker 6 timing out the rain, 9:00 pockets of heavy rain across the region, we're calling for one to three inches of rain. some spots could get higher than that. as you wake up tomorrow morning, 6:00 a.m. still going for the commute because we're in and out of the moisture then we'll start to depart as far as the rain is concerned as we get into monday mid morning. but the winds will be a factor. we got a wind advisory that goes up overnight through noon monday. expected wind gusts on the i95 corridor in areas in south jersey and northwest suburbs anywhere from 40 to 50 miles per hour. along the coast from lakehurst down to ab and wildwood. winds gusting 50 to 60 miles per hour, good idea to secure loose items. more details coming up when the full and exclusive accu weather seven-day. >> thank you, melissa.

. the cooper foundation was raising money in cherry hill this morning to fight both breast and gynecological cancers. organization hosted hundreds of women from across the delaware valley in its eighth annual pink roses and steel magnolias broach. cancer survivors shared stories and guests participated in a raffle. silent auction and health fair. runners took to the trail in mt. laurel today. it was the first annual 5k to bring awareness to what's known as venus disease. it's a condition in which the vein valves in your legs don't function properly. events was organized by the vein and vascular institute of voorhees.
