identified. it's not clear what led up to the shooting. upper merion had been on the scene. we're told the businesses inside the mall what do you mean impacted. we have a crew anne the way to the scene and will continue to bring you more details. to an accu weather alert. rain is still falling and strong winds are on the way. >> there's a flash flood watch until midnight which will be replaced by a wind advisory later on tonight. meteorologist melissa magee is tracking the system and joins us with the first check of the accu-weather forecast. melissa >> we've been tracking the rain on and off throughout the day. we had a bit of a lull earlier for philadelphia and points to the north and west. now that rain, as you can see is starting to throw back in across all of the delaware and lehigh valleys, storm tracker 6 live double scan radar showing you the pockets of heavy rain, going a little tighter on street level on storm tracker 6. you can see the rain along the 95 corridor but heavy rain right now along route 100.

just to the north of pottstown and also in between coatsville and oxford at this hour, if you're traveling along route 41 and the rain will continue on and off rest of tonight's as far as the rain we've seen, newark, delaware, little more than an inch and a quarter. same thing in kent county delaware. harvey cedars little more than an inch and a quarter. more than an inch in west bradford, in atlantic city 1.29 inches of rain, for north hampton, lehigh valley counties and the poconos, we'll talk about what weekend expect. rain continues to develop along the i95 corridor, points to the north and west an additional one to two inches of rain is likely. poor drainage flooding is also a concern and as the storm system departs and takes the majority of that rain away, we got a wind advisory that's in effect overnight. strong winds picking up gusting anywhere from 40 to 50 miles per hour, higher at the coast. we'll take a closer look coming

up in the full and exclusive accu-weather forecast. let's send it back over to you. today's wet weather brought down this tree in delaware county. this is the scene at dutton mill road in creek road in brook haven this afternoon. the intersection was shut down because the tree brought down power lines with it. a parked car got scratched but nobody was injured. no word at this hour when the roadway will reopen. this was the scene in new castle. the creek overflowed partially flooding a section of airport road. commuters were warned to avoid the area. as you can see not everybody he'd that day warning. with the heavy rain and high wind, there's concern about flooding at the jersey shore. annie mccormack is live in atlantic city and joins us with the latest. annie. >> reporter: walter, all over south jersey on our way down, we're seeing heavy rainfall. of course, day is the five-year anniversary that sandy did make landfall not far from here.

highway. this was the scene around 3:00 a.m. this morning, in newport on i295 northbound. the crash happened north of route 141, at this point, delaware state police say it driver of a tractor-trailer lost control and slammed into the barrier. why that happened is still under investigation. good news is the driver was incredibly uninjured and managed to escape from the cab of the truck before it up in flames. according to hauling some type of machinery rushed in, they were confronted with the 18 wheeler being engulfed in flames whiletraffic. work began to clean up the mess and fix the badly damaged barrier. >> reporter: despite how bad it was, the highway i this point and for the truck driver, he's ok. he was able to escape.port, bob brooks, channel 6 action news the search is on three men who broke into a house in west philadelphia and stole several,000 worth of cash along with a few cell phones police
