"action news", delaware valley's leading news program, with meteorologist, melissa magee, jeff skversky, sarah bloomquist and walter perez. a chilly november weekend, and now we're preparing for rain, just in time for the morning commute. sunday night the big story on "action news" is a changing accu weather information cost. after a weekend of winter like temperatures accu weather is tracking a system that could bring rain and other precipitation overnight. meteorologist melissa magee has what we can expect

tomorrow and rest of the workweek, melissa. >> we are tracking a change as early as overnight and early tomorrow morning but as you mentioned it certainly has been cold for this november weekend. earlier today in the poconos we had a morning low temperature of just 19 degrees , we have tied a record low in trenton this morning, of 22, 24 in allentown and wilmington, few degrees shy of record territory this morning in philadelphia, the morning low dipped down to 31. we're recovery this afternoon compared to yesterday. right now in the sit we are coming in at 43 after a high of 47 in the city. thirty-six up in the poconos. at the coast in millville 41. same thing in, millville, and cape may, dover coming in at 40 degrees. when we look at 24 hour temperature change a bit of the difference in the air with southerly component, it is 6 degrees warmer in allentown and fail then it was this same time yesterday. 8 degrees warmer off to the west in reading, 7 degrees warmer in the poconos. here's change heading our way, storm tracker six live double

scan radar 3-d showing precipitation out across the great lakes and ohio valley. a lot of this precipitation lifts off to the north ande. what we will track is this moisture moving out across kentucky and tennessee and west virginia that head our way from the southwest to northeasterly direction as we get into the overnight hours and early tomorrow morning and really under producing east of the appalachians, we will talk about what we can expect. another cold november night on the way and as this storm system slowly works its way eastward with very little precipitation, light rain, drizzle is likely monday morning long i-95 metro and then turning milder later this week we will go over details with the full, exclusive accu weather forecast, czar a. >> melissa, thank you. tonight police have identified the man killed in the crash that shut down route 202 for nearly 12 hours, yesterday. "action news" reporter annie mccormack is live in west goshen and has more on the man who was killed, well known in local politics, annie.

>> reporter: sarah we are learning more about him tonight, police saying that one person, died, 38 year-old adam cope of malvern, pennsylvania, they are identify file him today. two other people were also taken to the hospital, in this crash, that happened saturday afternoon. this is video from yesterday this happened around 12:30 in the afternoon, a tractor trailer carrying frozen turkies collided with at least one vehicle and went up in flames in total police, total police say nine vehicles including tractor trailer were involved. now this is a photo of that man, killed, friend does not want to talk on camera, adam was well regarded, in political circles in the county works a campaign manager in several races. he was in route to west chester university to watch championship game, a friend was with him in the vehicle, we are told that friend did survive the crash among numerous comments on social media, today, about swope the

west goshen township annie mccormack for channel six "action news". >> thanks for that report. twenty-seven year-old man has been arrested in connection with the deadly double shooting in philadelphia's hunting park section. police say suspect got in the argument that ended with him, shooting a 39 year-old man, across the street, from the a lounge and social club along 4200 block of mccallister street at 4:00 this morning. victim later died at temple hospital. a 24 year-old man was also shot, that victim was shot twice in the neck. no word tonight on his condition, a security guard at the club was able to shoot this suspect in the leg, and was arrested a short time later. no arrest have been made in the wake of the shooting in delaware county. shots were fired at 2:00 this morning, outside of booths and bonnet tavern on the 1500 block of townsend street in chester. victim was shot twice in the chest. she was taken to crozer-chester hospital where they died a short time later. a man's car burst into flames after he crashed his vehicle on the way to the

hospital. police tell "action news" that the man was shot repeatedly near intersection of the fourth and highland street in chester at about 2:40 this morning. they lost control of the vehicle on his way to crozer-chester hospital n fact , the car flipped and victim was able to crawl from the wreckage just before it erupted in the ball of flames thaw can see right there. that man is listed in critical condition. in a show of love and support dozens of people gathered outside st. lukes hospital this afternoon in bethlehem to honor pennsylvania state trooper set h kelly. kelly as was shot during a traffic stop in northampton county last week and still receiving care. >> "action news" reporter bob brooks has the story. >> reporter: gathering you see is sign of many things like respect, and honor. just to name a few. it doesens of local fire department trucks and e ms crews gathered to ride by st. lukes hospital to support wounded pennsylvania state police trooper corporal seth kelly. it started with a facebook post by lower mount bethel fire lieutenant bob comer.

>> this is just something to tell them we are behind him all the way to make sure he recovers 100 percent. >> reporter: first responders say they had to do something for corporal kelly. >> we're just going to the hospital silently, saying hey, we're here, we support you. >> reporter: when those trucks and crews went by the hospital they did remain silent. it was a quiet but little show of support. street was lined with a few neighbors who wanted to wish the corporal well. >> we are all praying for you, to get well, and to walk again , and go home to their family. >> reporter: last tuesday morning when corporal kelly was shot three times in plainfield township on route 33. he was responding to help backup fellow trooper ryan, for a dui arrest but it didn't go well. police described a knock down drag out violent fight between suspect and troopers. then a gunfight between them would break out and kelly would be shot three times. suspect 22-year old daniel c lary would also be shot. he drove himself to the hospital and that is where he

we will, congregation from first baptist church gathered to day one week after a gunman opened fire inside the church killing more than two dozen people. sunday services were held a few blocks away beneath a white tents of the baseball field closely guarded by law enforcement. hundreds of people gathered at the sang wear and later this evening the church will open as a memorial to the victims with services resuming there next week. senator john cornyn says he will introduce legislation as early as tomorrow with the hope of closing the loop hole that allow murder to buy his guns. >> my hope, is that we can, expedite, consideration of this, get tonight to law and to make sure that, this sort of thing never happens again. >> meanwhile the gun man devin kelly was court marshalled and convicted of assaulting his wife and stepson while he was in the air force five years ago. air force did not enter that convictions in the national law enforcement database if military officials had done that kelly may not have been able to buy weapons used in the a tack.

twenty-one children and two adults were injured when a platform collapsed in a park core center in san diego, california. it happened saturday night. witnesses say many children rushed to the platform when it was time for pizza and that is when the structure gave way. >> i heard it like crack, and then all of a sudden it just crashed down and it was coming down. after that, everybody was just crying. >> parents rushed to the scene to find their kid, several children were taken to the hospital for treatment. none of their injuries were reported to be life threatening. now to some incredible video, terrifying moments for fans and participants of a speed boat race when one boat skimmed across another and went airborne in the florida keys. the crash happened at annual key west super board world championships, video shows boat 18 running over number three, and then number 18 goes airborne and flips over. those boats were severely

the friends select school in center city held a winter coat give away today. hundreds of coats filled these racks set up inside the school 's gym. coats were available to anyone who could not afford to buy their own. and just a few blocks away in center city more than a dozen local organizations came together for the seventh annual helping hands event for the homeless. the groups set up on 15th street between jfk and market and it included free food, coats and warm clothing. homeless man who returned a $10,000 check he found is now get something help, from the woman who lost it. he said when he found the check on the street corner he immediately thought thought of the person who who it. roberta didn't even realize she who it until she got a call, and his friend. he met up with him and then streamed the interaction live on facebook. all of her friends could see what a good man alvarez is. >> he had no idea hot person was, behind the check, i didn't know that i was a single mother, that i had at

degrees in lancaster. temperatures there will be hovering right around the freezing mark. future tracker six, showing you at 5:00 in the morning, it is rain in philadelphia, areas south and east but i stopped it here because at on set where temperatures are right around freezing, this could start as some light or paper frozen precipitation, before you get a quick change over to rain. it is lasting a couple hours. by 8:00 in the morning that precipitation to the north and west will move out, and mostly along i-95 corridor points to the south and east. by lunchtime tomorrow cloud will be breaking for some sunshine. we will talk about what we can expect, rain will be arriving toward dawn, it is light rain along i-95 metro area, points south and east. temperatures north and west will be close to 32 degrees which is why some light, patchy freezing drizzle is likely in the lehigh valley and poconos. they will watch for slick spots they don't want anybody to be caught off guard early tomorrow morning. we have more details in the next half an hour, sarah. >> thanks, melissa.

double scan radar. you can see we are dry across delaware, lehigh valleys but off to the west in harrisburg off the two south and west in baltimore we are tracking some very light, precipitation. so what we are tracking an area of low pressure to the south, getting more moisture moving from the southwest, northeasterly direction as we get throughout the overnight hours and early tomorrow morning and provide with us some light precipitation. right now in philadelphia we are coming in at 43. same thing in allentown, reading, 40 in dover. forty-two in cape may, beach haven coming in at 44 degrees. looking at the wide picture of temperatures numbers north and west of town, 36 in lake harmony. thirty-nine in coatsville. over in media we are in the upper 30's. but down in new jersey and temperatures coming in at 40. vineland 43. toms river, in at 39, and right along the coast in surf city we are coming in at 44 degrees. satellite six with action radar showing you it is dry, quiet across our region but those cloud will build, thick 's cross our area we will

track one low pressure in the great lakes and ohio veil. this precipitation moves off to the north and east, bulk of the precipitation moves from our area but we will widen out and see a little bit of moisture trying to get its act across kentucky, tennessee, west virginia. that is the rain that we're tracking heading our way. it is under delivering west of the appalachians. so as it travels east of the mountains we are tracking light precipitation early this morning. and otherwise mostly cloudy, rain arriving closer to dawn. 29 degrees in the suburbs north and west. that is a concern. we will talk about that in a moment. 35 degrees in philadelphia for overnight low. timing out precipitation, future tracker six showing you during overnight hours 4:00 in the morning note that is rain approaching wilmington and dover and lancaster where temperatures are at freezing. notice you can find flurries or mixed precipitation, same thing at 6:00 in the morning. i stopped it here. numbers north and west will be close to 32 degrees. that is when allentown leaks high valley and poconos there
