facing tampering with evidence charges. >> we sent it to the fbi for re-creation. they confirmed it was deleted. we were able to narrow down the time and date it was deleted and mr. becker we were able to place him behind the seat of the control. >> reporter: he went into the video control tower to delete it during the investigation. >> the cops are going through the home and he's in there deleting it. >> that's correct. >> reporter: additional charges were brought against five brothers named in the initial investigation tim's father with a tearful message to the brothers he says was in charge of his son when he died. >> to be hold accountable for your answers. we're making concrete plans without our son's tim because of your actions. >> reporter: okay, now the d.a. says the way they first found out about the possibility of deleted video was through phone records they saw that the brothers had been texting back and forth about

deleting it and sure enough when the experts went in, they found it. for now reporting live in centre county, bob brooks channel6 "action news." brian. >> all right, bob, thank you. of course our coverage of the story continues on 6abc.com today. right now we've got the full list of those now charged in this case. we also have a time line of what happened the night inside the frat house and you can also listen to that initial 911 call. >> developing this afternoon, jurors in the federal bribery trial of new jersey senator bob menendez were sent home for the day. this after they told the judge they were deadlocked. the deliberations resumed early this morning but by midafternoon, the panel sent a note to judge william wall stating that they could not reach a unanimous decision. the judge then told them to "clear their heads and come back tomorrow to resume deliberations." last week juror was replaced and the panel was instructed to start deliberations from

clouds, visibility has really come down with that fog. 6-mile visibility in the center city location. 3-mile and visibility in wilmington, 1.5 in millville, own a mile in wildwood but fairing a little bit better to the north and west, reading. allentown, poconos 10-mile visibility. it's raw damp and chilly. that remains this evening and overnight. pockets of mist and drizzle during the first part of the overnight. 29 in the suburbs, 34 bite morning in center city. sharrie we'll talk about warming things up looking at that seven-day forecast. >> all right, i want to hear more about that. adam thanks. two suspects led police on a chaotic and destructive chase today in newport, delaware. officers began pursuing a white car along maryland avenue just before 10 o'clock. that vehicle smashed into another car, then careened into a telephone pole and hit several parked cars. the driver jumped out and took off but was caught a short time later.

police are still looking for a passenger who managed to get away. it's still unclear why authorities were pursuing this car in the first place. >> philadelphia police looking for two suspects accused of injuring a convenience store worker with a car. this is surveillance video of the man and women inside the 7-eleven on fifth street in east oak lane. they got into some kind of argument with awoke -- worker outside. they drove partially into the store before leaving the scene. you're asked to contact police if you know anything about this crime. >> new on "action news" today at 4:00 a movie shoot has things buzzing in a lehigh valley community. movie stars are frequenting local restaurants boosting business and turning heads all at the same time. walter perez live for us now in allentown near the set of m. night shyamalan's new film glass. hey, walter. >> reporter: hey, sharrie. you know, it's funny to think

that major motion picture is being filmed about a hundred yards behind me in allentown. even more funny is that one of the stars in particular, samuel l. jackson has been making the rounds at local eateries. it would seem that samuel l. jackson has a thing for barbecue. >> yeah, he's been here three times now. i'm guessing he likes the food. >> reporter: queen city on north seventh street isn't the only place in allentown where there's been a sam jackson sighting. he came to green restaurant a few days ago. corrado says at first she was star struck but then she couldn't help but notice his t-shirt. >> he had different characters of himself all over himself. there was several different contact terse on his shirt of himself. >> that's really cool. that's funny. >> it was funnyism jackson is in town along with bruce willis and james mcavoy shooting m. night shyamalan's next film called glass the final installment of a trilogy

extension is backed up that's still going to be a better bet than lincoln drive. a crash in olney along north broad street. watch out for the emergency crews there as well. they just finished cleaning up a wreck in gloucester city along route one. getting back to normal in that location. slow zone 22 miles per hour along 95. it's normal northbound afternoon volume building in coming out of the city passing the work zone here at girard on up towards about allegheny avenue is where the delay starts to break up. in mount laurel a crash involving a train and a car along briggs road near marne highway. stay over on hartford road. hope you had a nice weekend. 55 northbound side in deptford township gloucester county getting reports of a serious accident here just beyond route 47 delsea drive so you head northbound up toward the 42 freeway, the north-south freeway watch out for that this afternoon. we'll check it again, brian and sharrie, coming up in the

baghdad where u.s. troops reported fierce shaking. >> another woman has now come forward accusing alabama's republican senate candidate of sexual assault. beverly young nelson says she was just 16 years old when roy moore locked her in a car and assaulted her. now her allegations comes on the heels of allegations from several other women. one of them just 14 when she says moore groped her back in 1979. moore denies any wrongdoing, nevertheless senate majority leader mitch mcconnell said today he that believes the women and called on moore to drop his bid. >> president donald trump is wrapping up his 10 day tour of asia topping the headlines from the visit today the president says he will be delivering a major statement on trade and north korea on wednesday once he's back in washington. he made that announcement on his final stop in the philippines today where he met with that country's controversial leader. this is a highly anticipated and closely watched meeting. the president of the

philippines rodrigo duterte has come under intense scrutiny from human rights groups who say he carried out thousands of extra judicial killings as part of his aggressive crackdown on drugs. now the white house said this closed door meeting briefly addressed that. president trump called their relationship great and their meeting successful. again, he says he's bringing home with him a major announcement and he'll be making later this week. >> it will be a very very complete statement as to trade as to north korea as to a lot of other things. >> again, that's happening wednesday. he also met with the prime ministers of australia and japan today. the president will attend another summit of world leaders tomorrow before then heading back to washington. brian. >> all right, alicia. while in asia president trump also announced his nominee to be the health and human services secretary. if the senate confirms him, this man alex azar will receive -- oversee the department.

wilmington, even lower than that by even half of that in millville, 1.5, 1.3 in cape may and a bit better, the best visibility you can get is 10 miles and we are seeing that up in reading as well as allentown. but as we move forward temperature-wise, again, very cool, 47 for allentown, trenton as well as beach haven, 45 philadelphia so all numbers basically stuck in that mid 40 range basically where we've been the entire day. as we look at storm tracker6 live double scan we don't have any steady rain fall out there. that is long gone into new england. again, just some patchy mist and drizzle in some spots and we'll start to improve that as we go into the latter part of the overnight hours but rainfall totals early on in the day, basically it's about a quarter of an inch for most locations. for philadelphia, trenton, a little bit less than that and reading, dover a little more and closing in near a half an inch in wildwood so some heavier amounts as you were farther and down south and east away from philadelphia but a pretty decent little soaking quickly here early

this morning. as we look at satellite and radar, above that fog layer, which is low clouds kind of stuck there right now, we are breaking apart mid and upper level clouds, so it's clear not too far above us right now in new jersey, western pennsylvania, but it's going to take time to scour out that low level moisture and will slowly do that overnight tonight with those clouds breaking. areas of fog still around but cold, 29 in allentown, below freezing for reading, trenton, philadelphia 34, 32 in millville and dover 34 degrees. as we look at future tracker as we go at the present hours again, those clouds still around but as you can see they do break apart here in time for our tuesday morning. this is 7:30 a.m. with just some high clouds in spots and as we go through the day tomorrow, much brighter than today and warmer. 35 a chilly start but we go back into the upper 40's by 11 o'clock in the morning and near 50 for a good part of the afternoon and by 7 o'clock tomorrow evening around 44. your four day at 4:00 forecast tomorrow some sunshine breaking back out here, mixing

from security to hunger to job creation. delaware senator chris coons and mark green with the u.s. agency for international development helped to lead that discussion today. >> there's a one of a kind high school in philadelphia where the students can graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate's degree. parkway center city middle college began welcoming its first students this fall and today it welcomed philadelphia mayor jim kenney. he wanted a closer look at the model program. the gives first generation college bound students the chance to earn credits from the community college of philadelphia. >> it just reinforces my belief that our children can succeed and can compete and can achieve and if we give them and help them with the resources they need and pay attention to the new trends in education. >> well, the students who complete this program will graduate high school and go right into their junior year at the community college.

spreading virus started circulating on day two of the cruise out of bayonne. sanitizing workman could be seen spraying the narrow hallways but it was spreading like wildfire. >> some hand sanitizing stations they didn't have hand sanitizer available to us. they were out of soap at certain sinks. they didn't have sanitation at the elevators. >> reporter: ashley's brother mark says his wife and two children are already down for the count and he's convinced he's doomed as well. he says he doesn't think the ship's managers took enough measures to stop the spread of the virus which comes from personal touch with others or germs left on surfaces. >> as soon as i walked into the buffet, everything in the buffet line has scoopers in it and we're all grabbing and sharing the same scooper to serve our food. >> reporter: ashley believes as many as 500 people were victims aboard what became a floating oceanic petri dish and to be they must jump through more hoops.

>> you call royal caribbean and they want medical documentation and they're not compensating anyone in any way until medical documentation is given. >> the thing is people come home and they're sick with this and they paid all this for the vacation now we have to call out of work. >> reporter: brian, when we left the new bride ashley morris, she was on her way to the doctor to get that documentation she needs. we reached out to royal caribbean today for a statement which they promised us today but so far we've not received it. live in parkwood, i'm vernon odom channel6 "action news." >> all right, vernon, thank you. the man accused of shooting a pennsylvania state trooper is now out of the hospital and behind bars. the hospital confirmed to "action news" today that daniel clary was released today. the 22-year-old was in the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound he sustained in a shootout with corporal seth kelly last week. police say clary shot corporal

kelly three times during a traffic stop in plainfield township. that trooper is listed in stable condition. >> police in manayunk asking for the public'sacking down a man who broke into a verizon store last month. this is the surveillance video on the 4300 block of main street back on october 27. you can see the suspect force open the front door, then try to get into a safe in the back. the would be burglar left empty handed after several unsuccessful attempts. well, investigators are also looking for an apparent thief caught stealing a package from a stranger's front door. police gave us this video showing a man approaching a home on the 4300 block of malta street in juniata park this back on november 1st. you then see him scoop up an amazon package valued at $105 and then he walks away. if you have any information about this theft or the versus break in, call philadelphia police. >> thousands are expected to

rally tonight calling on the judge who sentenced rapper meek mill in prison to reconsider or recuse herself. the judge says philadelphia -- the group says the philadelphia judge denise brinkley engaged in what they call a pattern of unethical behavior. she sentenced mill to a lengthy two two to four year sentence for a probation violation despite prosecutors recommendation he not face any jail time. christie all leto will have a four story on "action news" at 6:00. >> turning back to our and forecast we are starting this work week damp and dreary. >> meteorologist adam joseph live in the weather center on what we can expect. >> this is the worst day of the week weather-wise so we'll just move on up as we go into tuesday and beyond but out there right now again we have the clouds. we've had that mist that kind of hung around here the last few hours but that steady rain this morning long gone but those temps only in the mid 40's. we should be sitting around

57 degrees. 10 degrees below in in allentown, 47 for trenton atlantic city airport and cool interwilmington at just 44 degrees right now. as we look at sky6 live over center city, just an hour ago you couldn't see much of the tallest of the center city buildings, so you are starting to see a little more of that as that low lying moisture is trying to lift a little bit but, it's been very stubborn here this afternoon, so now that the sun is about to set in the next 10 minutes or so, so use caution during the evening commute or if you have to head out this evening, once that sun sets, 'cause of areas of fog and widespread mist, that sun setting at 4:46, you'll definitely want to use the low beams, not the high beams 'cause as you send more light out, if there's clouds or mist there it will reflect more light back to your eyes. that's why it's best to use in fog the low beams. brighter days ahead sharrie in just a little bit. >> sounds good adam. thanks. on this gray and gloomy day some local residents got a green pick me up.

sending certain things especially photos are videos that might seem risque or appropriate. the child ready to hit send on something a friendly chat box scans it and pops up a warning asking if they want to think again here, anything from messages to texts to pics so social media posts. it looks for anything explicit even things that may be too personal. the app can send alert to many parents but the aim here is to get the youngsters to watch their own behavior. finally frisbee may be one of your childhood hobbies or something you bring along to the beach or a picnic but in vermont, it's now officially a varsity sport. it's now the first state in the nation to recognize what's called ultimate. the game that started as ultimate frisbee is now a high school varsity sport there. the vermont principal's association approved ultimate as a varsity sport it's played on a field slightly smaller than a football field, seven people to a team. the disk gets passed down the field until a teammate catches

from the westbound side. that's your construction update along the schuylkill expressway in university city. still watching a crash this afternoon along lincoln drive just north of gypsy lane there where the henry avenue bridge goes over top. i would still use schoolhouse lane or even the northbound boulevard which is busy but still a better bet than lincoln drive. a crash involving a vehicle into a tree in plymouth meeting. i would steer clear of germantown pike. stay on ridge pike. in mount laurel still dealing with the crash involving the vehicle and the train along briggs road close to rowan college. hartford road can get you around it. you will find the construction there so centerton road might be your best bet. we're also watching a new overturned vehicle crash in vincentown along 206 near retreat road. i told you about a crash in deptford township gloucester county on the ramp from 47 to go north on 55. the good news is it's off to the side so you can squeeze by. we'll check it again, brian and sharrie, coming up in the 5 o'clock hour. >> some good news there. >> yes. >> matt, thank you. >> stepping outside right now,

clouds. windy, milder here as we get into thursday, especially, that's kind of the peak over the week and rain for part of this upcoming weekend. it's not a washout all weekend but one day much rainier than the other. right now temperatures on the cool side. 47 trenton, allentown, atlantic city airport. 44 degrees for wilmington as well as philadelphia so the numbers are pretty much stuck in the mid 40's again with that very damp weather. as we take a look at satellite and radar here, you can see those clouds, they continue to move to the north and east and we do have that break in the cloud cover across that 95 corridor here and we'll continue to kind of pull those clouds apart in the upper part of the atmosphere as we go through the evening hours. overnight clouds breaking especially late in the night with that early mist and drizzle. areas of fog. 29 degrees in the suburbs so very cold by tomorrow morning. 34 degrees for center city with that north wind between three and 6 miles an hour. as we go into your tuesday, we have double barrel high

pressure. typically with that high pressure kind of wedging in you see a lot of sunshine but we'll get a little bit of dirty sky between those highs so there will be some filtered sunshine -- clouds with that sunshine tomorrow but not as cool as we go back into the lower 50's and then high pressure continues to push to the east on wednesday. a warm front comes through late in the day, partly sunny, near normal, 53 degrees so not bad midweek. cold front does come through on thursday with a few showers early on in the day. we're talking 4 o'clock in the morning, closer towards the lehigh valley, most of the area is dry and then as we go into thursday afternoon the sunshine takes control and it will be the warmest day of the week as we go a little bit above normal here in a few days. the exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast, clouds and sun tomorrow, 51 degrees so after four days in the 40s, the 50's do return. 53 on wednesday, again a late night or early morning shower on thursday but thursday the winds do kick up despite it's warm at 58. and sunny, a little cooler but

>> you're scrolling through instagram. you see someone wearing something you love. you wonder where they got it or where you can get something similar. kim kardashian rolling out a new app that connects your social media with your shopping powers at your fingertips much it's called screen shop. kim k calls it the shazam for fashion. you know the music app that identifies song for you. does the same with clothes shoes accessories. you see something you like, you take a screen shot. the app does all of the online shopping searches for you and it rounds up a list of similar products in different price points from all different stores. you can even use this in a store, say, you walk into one you like a skirt but it's not in your budget. take a picture. the app will find a host of similar options from all different places at all different prices. there's another app called like it to know it and this works in a similar way. this one also uses screen shots but instead of finding similar styles it actually finds you the exact items that
