according to jim piazza, it's further proof of an attempted coverup. >> we don't know what else happened other than what was seen during the video and we don't know what happened in the basement. guess what, guys, now we know. >> reporter: centre county d.a. stacy parks miller says the discoveries solidifies an extreme night of hazing those that piazza simply wanted to befriend. >> shows hazing of the pledges. >> reporter:. >> reporter: the d.a. says five committed involuntary manslaughter. >> we sent it to the fbi for re-creation. they confirmed it was deleted. we were able to narrow down the time and date it was deleted and in fact mr. becker we were able to place him behind the seat of the chair. she says what's astonishing is he did it during an active investigation.

it happened within the past hour outside the criminal justice center in philadelphia. supporters of rapper meek mill staged a protest to call on judge janice brinkley to recuse herself from meek mill's case because of alleged conflicts of interest. "action news" reporter christie ileto is live. there were expectations of a big turnout. >> reporter: every couple minutes you hear free meek mill. the rapper has had some serious star power in his corner from eagles malcolm jenkins to former sixers dr. j and droves of people rallying that last week's prison sentence must be overturned. >> free meek mill, free meek mill. >> reporter: fans even athletes and fellow rappers took to center city streets calling for rapper meek mill's sentence to be overturned. the north philadelphia native was convicted of gun and drug charges in 2008. judge brinkley seen in an

interview revoked the rappers probation. advocates outside the criminal justice center are calling out the judicial system that they say failed him and continue to fail others. >> 61,000 men and women incarcerated for technical violations not crimes but technical parole or probation violations. >> i definitely don't think his sen spence is fair -- sentence is fair. he made a mistake but he doesn't deserve that amount of time. >> nobody goes to state prison for technical violations. it's one thing in you're own probation and you go out and rob somebody, shoot somebody, rape somebody but the idea of taxpayers spending $42,000 to jail a man who should be doing community services to enlighten the youth. >> i feel as though because of who he is and the status that he got they were trying to make an example out of him. >> a couple months maybe but two to four years. when it's people out here

doing worse than that and getting less sentencessism tonight's rally still going strong here in center city. his legal team says they plan to file a motion tomorrow morning for reconsideration and for the recusal of judge brinkley. reporting live here in center city, christie ileto, channel6 "action news." jim. >> thank you, christie. one person is in custody tonight, a second remains on the run after a police pursuit through newport, delaware. police started following the suspect car along maryland avenue at 10 o'clock this morning. the suspects crashed into another vehicle hit a telephone pole then hit several parked cars. the driver ran off but was caught a short time later. the passenger managed to escape. there were no serious injuries. police still haven't said why they were pursuing the car in the first place. a fatal shooting outside a philadelphia club over the weekend has prompted demands that the place be shut down. and this was not the first first

time violence was linked to the a lounge. sarah bloomquist, you've got the full story. >> reporter: jim, l and i is now investigating operations here as the families of men murdered outside his after hours spot demand the place be shut down. this weekend marked the third murder here since january 2015 along with other incidents of violence. family and friends of murder victims assembled outside the a lounge social club in the 4200 block of mcallister this morning. they're grieving over the most recent homicide here over the weekend. 37-year-old pablo rivera was shot and killed outside the after hours club early sunday morning. >> he was a good person. i just want everybody to know that. he was a loving person and didn't deserve this to happen. >> reporter: a 24-year-old

innocent bystander was also wounded. a club security guard shot the suspect in the leg and he was immediately apprehended by police. the murder was the third outside the club since january 2015. when 34-year-old alejandro rojas garcia was shot and killed. >> we're tired of having people join us as a family of murder victims. >> reporter: now these families and other community activists are calling on city leaders to shut down the a lounge for good. >> don't come here. you know, that's the -- boycott this place. we need to boycott this place. that's going to send a message we're not going to stand for this kind of violence. >> whenever they're opened we're going to be in front of this door letting people know you're getting ready to die in this place. >> if i can stop someone from dying senlessly out here, you know, my brother's death has to mean something. >> reporter: on instagram the club posted another life lost in our city to senseless violence. it's not about a lounge or any other places.

these things happen and it's out of our hands. now, the third murder happened here in early january of this year, a man shot dead out in front of the club. by phone a man representing the club told me can't be responsible for the actions of others. he's hired security, installed security cameras and cooperates with police. l and i is now collaborating with liquor control, philadelphia police and other governing bodies to determine what happens here next. live in hunt bag, i'm sarah bloomquist, channel6 "action news." jim. >> thank you sarah. a federal jury in new jersey says it is deadlocked on all 12 counts in senator bob menendez's corruption case. the judge sent the jury home to "clear their heads" and told them to return tomorrow morning. the trial is now in its 11th week. last week a dismissed juror predicted there would be a hung jury. prosecutors accused menendez of accepting gifts from a florida ophthalmologist in

exchange for political favors over seven years. ivanka trump touted tax reform in ocean county, new jersey, this morning. trump was joined by treasury secretary steve mnuchin, representative tom macarthur and governor chris christie. it was an invitation only event at the bayville fire hall. miss trump said both the house and senate tax proposals accomplish the president's goal. >> it is, a, reducing taxes and offering tax relief to middle income american families and b, cutting corporate rates and small business rates so that businesses can thrive and businesses can be competitive in a global marketplace. >> new jersey governor phil murphy was in newark this morning to discuss the impact of the house republican tax plan on the state. murphy called it a sham. >> it's bad no matter how you slice it. it's a devastating blow.

really good. the things are going to get better. the accuweather highlights show you the next two days, the sunshine will be returning. on thursday, temperatures actually climbing above normal but we'll have wind gusts up to about 35 miles per hour and already looking ahead to next weekend, i'm tracking a 50-50 weekend. part of the weekend will be on the wet side. right now temperatures stuck in the 40's. 44 degrees in philadelphia, our high only 45. that's 12 degrees below normal. allentown 46, atlantic city airport also 46. cape may 45 and wilmington currently 44 degrees. so sat -- actually show the visibility right now. it's getting better. we had a visibility in philadelphia just one hour ago at 5 miles. we're up to seven. wildwood down to about 2 miles so the low clouds beginning to lift and that will really be the trend as we head through the overnight hours. now satellite and radar showing the rain that moved through this morning generally about a quarter inch to a half

inch. that's moved out but we still have that low level moisture but with high pressure building in, any fog this evening will give way to partly cloudy skies. it will be a chilly night. 34 degrees in philadelphia, millville 32, wilmington 33, trenton 30, allentown down to 29, reading and lancaster down to 30 degrees. for your tuesday, finally the sunshine is back after being stuck in the clouds and the mist all day long today. we'll see a mixture of clouds and sun. with high pressure building in, we will get a little bit of a wind out of the north. so, it will still be on the cool side but not as cool as today. 51 degrees. so at least temperatures are climbing up into the 50's. on wednesday, it's partly sunny, temperatures near normal, 53 degrees. that cold front will be moving through early on thursday morning. it could come with a few showers. future tracker showing really limited with this. at 4 o'clock in the morning a few showers across the lehigh valley and the poconos. lots of clouds but as we head through the afternoon, the
