good afternoon in the news this noon a possible danger for local students, police find ammunition near an elementary school. and bullets fly during a road rage incident and the search for the begun man. and the big story is a shooting at a new jersey restaurant and police are looking for the person that kill aid man inside of the applebees in lawrenceville. the suspect took off from the scene and was last seen heading north on route 1. >> reporter: well, there is an active search this noon for the gunman in this homicide. meanwhile here at the scene detectives are here going on 12 hours collecting evidence in what is the first homicide in lawrenceville in more than 16 years. >> people come here to buy their porsches and i come here to get my donut in the morning. murder? would not occur to me.

>> people that frequent this dunkin' donuts were stunned to find out a man was murdered inside of this applebees. >> i never heard of that since i moved here. >> this happened at this applebees near quaker bridge mall at 12:30 this morning just before close. a man was shot and killed inside. overnight detectives questioned patrons inside at the time and later escorted them to their cars, they combed the scene inside and outside of the business. >> i was right in front of the place where someone got killed last night. >> are you not even safe going out to eat with your family. >> the first homicide since may of 2001 in lawrenceville. police have not identified the victim in this latest homicide and no word a motive. >> you never hear anything. mostly trenton that is where i'm from, you hear of something over

>> reporter: hi sara, family friends and former teammates of roy halladay will gather here for a celebration of life ceremony at the phillies ceremony a week after he died in the horrific plane crash about 35 minutes north of clearwater and as fans walk into the ceremony they'll see this memorial set up by one phillies fan and flowers and a t-shirt from his no-hitter and a baseball inscribed thanks for all the memories. rest in peace doc. and he touched fans and his former teammates and he was making an impact on future phillies and roy halladay had an office here where he met with prospects and worked with them on their pitching and the mental aspects of the game. and every prospect he came across he gave them a copy of this book. the mental abc's of pitching

we have breaking news to pass along from the city's port richmond section, chopper 6 hd was over the scene of what was a school bus accident. this is happening along delaware avenue along port richmond, the crash happened before noon time a head-on collision of a school bus and another vehicle, there were no students on the school bus at the top and at least one person in the car was injured. we are told that person may be trapped and looks like they may be extricated and officials are on the scene to determine what
