"action news" exposed how truck drivers were skirting the tow system in philadelphia. and we caught up with miller and his father outside of our studios after they responded to an accident before police or fire responded. >> why are you here? if you have not been assigned. >> the same reason you are here. something to see. >> the millers operate n one towing and his son allegedly fled in the tow truck and the father remains and has been

that escaped the egg harbor detention center. and then allegedly stole a car from a guard and the three other inmates were captured earlier in bridgeton and that is where we find trish hartman live with the latest on the search. >> reporter: good evening monica in the past hour we received an update that michael huggins is still at large, it's unknown if he is armed or not. we are here near the search perimeter and they are using every resource available to them on the ground and in the air. >> michael huggins should be considered dangerous and if seen in public we are asking the public not to approach him and to call 911. >> the the search for michael huggins intensified at the state prison in bridgeton. he faces murder charges for the 2016 murder of dante lee in bridgeton.

>> they have to get him. he could enter an elderly person's home or cause harm there or someone else. >> i called my daughter and said lock all the doors. police say that huggins escaped from the youth facility in egg harbor city with three other teens at 12:30 a.m. overtaking several correction officers and stealing a personal car. and a neighbor shows the car sideswiping a jeep before it crashes into an apartment building. and three of them were caught at 9:30 a.m. in bridgeton almost an hour away. >> i saw the police car and saw the plane flying and said something must have happened. but every road i tried to go in was blocked. according to the superintendant of schools students were suppose to have a half day and when schools went on lock down because of the search they went on a full day. and they were sent to bus stop areas to keep students safe. >> and they said it was a lock

in the traffic center. break it to us gently. >> this will leave a bad taste in your mouth. southbound side of 295 something we are not thankful for a crash at wood burn station and taking out the left lane a half hour later and this is doing damage to the southbound traffic. an hour and 6 minutes on the southbound travel time. it's a mess on 295. and you hit the wall of traffic around route 38 and then just a crawl with speeds like 8 and 2 miles per hour on down to wood crest station and there was a second accident in the backlog near 70 and you want no parts of southbound 295, head for the southbound turnpike or stay local on kings highway. but i would not head to 130 blocked at cinnaminson and you have to turn there by the sonic. you are not getting by at riverton road. in depford township. a bad crash along good intent road and a slow crawl on the northbound side. 95 in delaware because of

"action news" continues. >> hello again here is what is happening on "action news" tonight. police in the lehigh valley are investigating at least five incidents of alarming behavior by a man lurking near schools, the latest was an attempted abduction. we are live with the details. and the death toll rises after yesterday's shooting in california. police have now discovered the body of the gunman's wife in the floorboards of their home. and the college basketball players arrested for theft in

china speak out about their actions while the coach decide the the punishment they will receive. >> and a rash of frightening incidents in schools in the lehigh valley have people on edge tonight and investigators say that the events have become increasingly aggressive. walter perez is live with the details. as you mentioned there are several cases and each time the descriptions of the person involved are very, very similar. the only difference is what started as attempted lurings has become an attempted abduction. it was yesterday morning when a man in a hooded sweatshirt approach aid student at moravian college and the man asked her where she was going and grabbed her arm and that is when she screamed and he jumped into a

nearby light blue vehicle and drove away. >> people are stressed but being aware and staying with other people. don't go places by yourself. >> people are concerned about it and their parents were calling them so squared and making them carry pepper spray now after four other reports of similar incidents in bethlehem over the past few weeks but yesterday's attacks is believed to be the first case that the suspect got out of the car and grabbed someone. and bethlehem police released a statement reading in part there are multiple incidents in the city of bethlehem where the same suspect and vehicle are identified. do not approach the suspect or vehicle in question and gain as much information about the event as possible only if there is no danger. during previous cases the suspect will try to convince a young woman to get in his car on get the young woman's attention and then fondle himself. two involve female students from library high school. >> it's disturbing.

is releasing chilling new details about the first victim in the shooting spree. >> investigators say that the rampage that left five innocent people dead began in the gunman's own home saying they found the body of kevin neil's wife under the floorboards. >> we are confident that he murdered her and literally just put her body in the floor. >> prosecutors say that neil was out on bail on an assault with a deadly weapon charge accused of stabbing his neighbor in january and they believe that that neighbor may have been one of the targets on tuesday. >> he had a desire to kill as many people as he could. >> the first call came in at 7:54 a.m. the gunman shooting into homes and then driving to this elementary school. >> one of the teachers came out around the building and run inside the shooter is coming. >> and neil used a truck to ram his way through the fence and fire at least 30 rounds leaving
