for the philadelphia marathon but it is relatively warm. 60 degrees right now. a live look you can see it's closed and the roads are wet the marathon will be getting under way in an hour and we will try to be live for the start of it. it is a great day for the marathon considering the rain and the wind and the temperatures. a little warm. >> it's pretty mild especially considering the time of day and the time of year. we have temperatures close to 60 degrees. one thing i hate running in one is humidity and the second is wind and we have a lot out there right now. wind advisory remains in effect until 4:00 this afternoon. we could see gusts as high as 45 or maybe even 50 miles per hour. reading has reported a 45 mourn wind gusts. 33 miles per hour in philadelphia, 41 in reading, allentown 35, millville 30. the front is out to the west.

it's in upper montgomery and upper bucks county as i speak. still a couple of leftover showers but that heavy band of rain that drove through this morning is continuing to push east and continuing to pull away from the philadelphia area. there's the front right there, the back edge of the precipitation and this is racing off to the east at about 40 miles per hour. there's the movement, west to east. and once this last line here crosses the area, we'll go mostly sunny skies across the way today and it will actually be a nice looking day. by 6:30, there's the back edge right there. through philadelphia racings off to the east and from that point on we're looking at mostly sunny skies. very windy, gusts up to 45 miles per hour, sunshine with just a few clouds. high temperatures around 52 degrees later this afternoon. nydia? >> chris, thank you. breaking news, three men have been shot outside a north

philadelphia car. police found bullet casings and a crashed truck on the scene. the three men ages 47, 37 and 18 were not there. they were found critically wounded at temple university hospital. they had been taken there in a private car before police arrived before 1:00 this morning. police are sorting out what happened and who fired those shots. no word on arrests or motive yet. help is on the way for people of the now charred senior living center. donations will be accepted at the good will fire company. in west chester. action news has more on the community uniting in the aftermath of this trajgy. >> it's a great thing to see everyone come together when something like this happens. >> reporter: ted hart is the president of the good will fire company in wes chest ter. he's also part of a local

hurricane aid group. now the volunteers are helping their own. >> we're going to do something for people in texas and florida and puerto rico, we've got to do something for people where we live. >> reporter: firefighters were called to the senior living center, the massive fire forced residents out into the cold. officials say 27 people were injured but say people are still unacted for. he found his father alone on the sidewalk. >> wrapped up in blankets. >> he had those blankets because of nurses and nearby neighbors but the need is even greater now. >> the things we need are some of the things we can't do. their glasses, their dentures, they need their hearing aids. >> reporter: huh hart things like toiletries, can be dropped off at the fire company on east union street on sunday. families of residents in need are invited to pick up donated

he called an officer during a chase. officer shaw was just 25 and had been with his department for less than a year. he served as a part-time officer before coming to his job. investigators had a stern message for the alleged killer. >> we will find you. we will arrest you. and we will prosecute you so that you are held accountable. >> rewards are posted for the suspect's arrest. >> several women have accused him of groping or assaulting them when they were teens back in the '70s. moore and his wife have denied the allegations in a radio interview set to air today moore said his signature in a 1977 high school yearbook is a forgy. the scandal has also threatened

counties in tennessee leaving a trail of damage in its wake. this was the scene just east of nashville last night. roof tops were scattered on the ground and wood littered people's yards. there have been no injuries reported so far. meanwhile severe weather caused this damage yesterday. chris sowers back with the full forecast. pretty warm but the temperatures are going to plunge later today. >> sort of opposite what you usually see. usually the colder temperatures occur now it's actually going to be warmer now than what we see this afternoon. we're looking live at the come doer barry bridge. this is going to be a very active day. lots of weather to talk about. we still have a couple of

showers and even some steadier periods of rain showing up on storm tracker 6. you can see just east of the delaware river now from western burlington county all the way down through it looks like west central portions now of camden county, heavier rains indicated by the reds, oranges and yellow, pushing through medford lakes area. you look near philadelphia that's the last of it. just a couple of showers in the city itself and that will continue to push through. we're looking at mainly some clouds giving way to sunshine and gusty breezes. the wider picture as we set everything in motion, that's the front right there pushing through. this is racing off to the east at about 40 miles per hour. once this last little batch pushes through, the skies will brighten up and we'll see sunshine as the afternoon rolls on. wind advisory gave up five sack.

tie ron smith, the all pro has been nursing an injury so we'll see how this plays out at game time. but if you have to run chaz green out there, vinny is going to have a big smile on his face. with my speed, with my quickness, i can beat chaz green like clayborn did getting six sacks. this is a game where the eagles' defensive line will be slanting, stunting, twisting doing whatever they have to put pressure on dak prescott. you break him down you get a got chance of beating the cowboys. >> they've been excellent against the run this season. >> it's an outstanding defense overall. obviously people look at sack. i look at the ability to stop the run. the eagles are number one in the national football league in stopping the run, about 66 yards per game, only 3.6 yards per attempt. what they like to do on the defensive side, they play that wide 9 defense.

the defensive end coming around the end. what that does compresses the lines inside those big old defensive tackles allows all the line backers to run to the football. and then when they arrive, this eagle defense arrives in a bad mood. it's a nasty defense, rally to the football. brandon graham with an inside release, beautiful job anticipating the snap count and where the ball is going. i love this play, ducis. watch all the eagles helmets. i can't even count them fast enough. that's what defense is about, penetration against the run, swarming, and yet they're getting interceptions, they're getting sacked, they're getting off the field on third down. this eagles defense is doing an outstanding job right now. they're going have their hands full against a very good class team with a lot of weapons. >> eagles are a very good tackling team as well. so what happens sunday night in

dallas? >> it's always tough to go down to dallas and win a football game. the eagles are well-rested, i think they'll be fresh, and be quick and they will win 30-20. >> bury those cowboys in the nfc east. >> i love it. >> 37-17. >> the rain is moving out. marathon runners are going to have to contend with the wind today. >> at times that wind is going to be a head wind other times it will be at their backs. it really just depends what portion of the race they're at. the action cam getting ready to see the start of the philadelphia marathon. look at the winds bhiping. gusts are as high as 30-45 miles per hour. wilmington is reporting 48 mile per hour gusts. a couple of things i want to mention, there are wet leaves everywhere and those leaves are very, very slick. for the runners or anybody you don't want to walk or run on

those leaves. and another thing a lot of puddling on some of the roads from some of the downpours that we saw early this morning. you want to slow down your traveling speeds as well. even though from areas west of philadelphia we're starting to dry out now, we still have a couple of puddles out there, slow it down a little bit over the next couple of hours. you can see how quickly this line of showers is racing off to the east. heavier drenching downpours pretty much confined to the coast. here's the white horse pike this is route 50 where it intersects with 322. there's a couple of downpours, it should be in places like bringing teen and atlantic city within the next half hour or so and west of there there's not too much going on, we're still seeing clouds and a little bit of drizzle but that's about it. it is dry in philadelphia or at least it's not precipitating. the roads are still damp but the rains have pulled away. it is extremely mild. dew point 47. winds are out of the west

sustained at 32 miles per hour. we have gusts closer to 40. it is starting to rise. 43 mourn gusts in philadelphia, 48 in wilmington, reading 41, 39 miles per hour generally a westerly direction here, but at times it will go west-northwest like this as the front continue toss push on by to the east. and these numbers will actually fall during the course of the day. so we're hitting our highs now. 61 in millville, 60 in lancaster, it's 67 in philadelphia but you were at 61 just a few hours ago. the numbers are going to start to slide back. 39 in pittsburgh. it was snowing yesterday in michigan, buffalo 36, so you can see there's quite a difference on the back side of this front we're some 30 degrees colder from buffalo compared to richmond, virginia. satellite 6 along with action radar. once the front slides through we're already starting to see some who else, some breaks in the cloud deck. we'll go
